TEXT  MATTHEW 9 : 18-19,24-25

[18]While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.

[19]And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.

[24]He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.

[25]But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.

Jairus's daughter was dead, but this ruler had hope that if the Lord would intervene that the daughter would live.

Hope is a divine force that ensures that the bearer can never end up in shame.

In (Romans 5:5) the Bible says "And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."

Jairus's hope brought his daughter back to life.

What is that good thing that is decreasing in your life, increase your hope level and miraculous manifestations in your life will increase.

This shunnammite woman hoped against hope.

She was biblically a type of Abraham.

Abraham hoped against hope that he would become the father of nations even though he was impotent and Sarah barren.

This woman hoped for   a resurrection of her son.

She might not have see one before but she knew that her lively hope would give birth to a living boy.

Beloved, your story is the next to be celebrated.

[9]Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.

Beloved, never lose hope.

Hope is the anchor of the miraculous.

The scriptures we read said that there is hope even for a tree that has been cut down.

It said that even if the root has has decayed and died in the ground, this scripture said that there is hope if only it can have contact with the word of God.

This is very powerful.

This is saying that there is no impossible case with the God we serve.

Lazarus was buried for four days but when the word of God came, it converted the tragedy into a testimony.

I see my God doing the same for you in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

Beloved, there was something the Psalmist knew that made him trust God

completely.

King David knew the Lord as his light and salvation.

No wonder he was fearless.

His confidence was unshakably bound to what God can do, what God has done and what God will do.

He understands that God does what He says always.

He has never broken His word.

We have a father that guarantees that when we pass through the, waters, rivers and fire and, that it will not hurt us.

Our God has integrity.

He is alive to defend those who put their trust in Him.

Why He commands us not to fear is because He knows that fear depreciates our faith.

Fear also drains us of our confidence in God and in ourselves.

Remember also that with faith, no man can please God.

No storm can sink a fearless man no matter how tempestuous it is.

When peter was fearless, he was on top of the storm but when he became fearful, he started to sink.

His fearlessness unleashed the supernatural force of dominion over the raging storm and all the forces of hell that instigated them.

I decree that Satan remains a loser in all areas of your life in Jesus mighty name.

FAITH CRUSHES DEMONS TO SUBMISSION

When the demons sighted the Man of Calvary, the Man of faith, they began to cry.

While facing fearful and seemingly impossible situations, men of faith confront deploy the weapon of laughter.

[39]And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

[40]And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

[41]And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

Jesus was on a journey with His disciples, but mid sea, Satan attacked them with a fiery storm.

They woke up Jesus who was asleep in a pillow and asked Him if He was not worried that They may all perish.

Jesus stood up and rebuked the storm.

Jesus then asked them two questions.

1. Why are you so fearful?

2. How is it that you have no faith?

From these questions we can deduce that their fear and faithlessness was helping Satan in achieving his goal 

Whenever fear strikes,

It is the devil at work.

If you are not resisting fear, you are not resisting Satan.

Resist the devil and he will flee.

Fear is the opposite of faith.

Fear and faith cannot mix, it's like oil and water.

Fear is not and emotional feeling, it's an announcement that Satan is around.

The scripture said that God has not given you the "spirit' of fear.

It did not say the emotions of fear.

This means that fear is a spirit, a very dangerous spirit.

This spirit is responsible for all the calamities and defeat that faithless people face in this world.

Because God has not given you spirit of fear but has given to everyone a measure of faith, I declare by faith that your fears are over in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

[33]And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.

[34]And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.

[35]And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.

Peter at Lydda met with a man Aeneas who had been crippled for eight years and healed him.

That healing was spectacular in the sense that peter didn't pray, he only declared "Aeneas Jesus heals you".

Immediately Aeneas was healed.

Beloved if you make this same declaration by faith over any ugly situation of your life, it shall be turned around.

I pray that from today, we shall start using the authority that Jesus bequeathed on us.

[6]Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.

Beloved, your experiences are not as important as what you have inside of you.

What you carry can determine that your enemies must bow to you.

The Lord told Moses, "Today you shall become a god unto Pharaoh".

That means that pharaoh's weapons of warfare would no longer be potent in the life of Moses.

[10]And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

[11]And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

As Apostle Paul who previously persecuted the disciples received Jesus, he also received God's power for silencing oppositions.

Bar Jesus or Elymas was opposing the movement of the gospel, he did not know that no one stands before a moving train.

You are the mouth of the master.

Immediately Paul spoke, all the forces of Heaven rose and backed his commands.

Do you realize that your words carry such power?

Open your mouth against whatever opposes God's plan upon your life in Jesus mighty name.

Sign producers are way makers, they are mountain movers.

In the book of Acts 3 Peter and John met a crippled man by the gate of the Temple soliciting for arms.

Peter didn't have money in his pocket at that moment, but he had something bigger than money.

[8]But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Ye shall be witnesses means that you shall be a sign producer.

It means that you shall be a miracle producer.

Jesus declared that certain things which He did will follow those who believe in Him.

Now Jesus has gone to Heaven, but the only way to get people to be able to believe that Jesus actually did these signs is to replicate them.

Ye shall be my witnesses.

A witness in court validates your position.

Are you validating the things that Jesus did?

Are you a living proof that Jesus is still alive?

[19]And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Jesus was addressing peter here because of his revelation.

The revelation of Christ is a personal revelation.

His delegated authority and power is predicated upon your personal knowledge of who He is.

Do you know Jesus?

You cannot use the authority of someone you do not know.

We are to teach the world that contentment is great gain.
