[16]Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

[17]Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

[18]And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Elijah was a man who would never give up on any petition until the answer is received.

He prayed again and again.

Prayer is a leveling weapon.

Everyone can afford it.

It is free but not cheap.

Prayer is a weapon of equalisation.

If you can pray again and again, you will turn all your disadvantages to advantages.

Your world will bow before you.

Prayer makes you a magnet for everything good.

If your last prayer has not been answered, pray again.

[43]And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

[44]And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

[45]And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,

[46]And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

Jesus after He prayed again, an Angel came from Heaven and strengthened Him.

Have you  done all in that situation, pray again.

When you pray, God sends Angels with your answers but if the experience will be for your lifting, He will send them to strengthen you.

[7]Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

[8]And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Sacrifice is giving to God something that we attach great value to.

Disposal, a situation where you give out what you no longer have value for is not sacrifice. Remember that God is not a trash collector, He does not run a dump yard. 

God rewards us only when we surrender what is precious.

The law of harvest is the law that governs sowing and reaping.

It states that  only what is sown is reaped, and all reaping is always in proportion to what is sown.

When you sow a corn seed, it will be rediculous for you to expect a stalk of wheat. Each produces after it's own kind.

Secondly, you do not sow a seed of corn and expect to reap an acre of corn.

Apostle Paul said that if you sow sparingly, you will reap sparingly but if you sow bountifully, you will reap bountifully,

[36]And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,

[37]Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet.

The success of the early church was anchored in the power of sacrifice.

The Bible said that the believers sold their properties and brought the money to the disciples to use in order to meet the needs of all.

Joses sold a field and brought the whole money an laid it at the feet of the disciples, they were so moved that they changed his name to Barnabas, meaning "son of consolation".

The blood of Jesus purchased the new covenant Church, but men and women keep on bleeding with sacrifices to sustain the Church.

In which way are you bleeding for the growth of your local church?

[7]There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat.

[8]But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?

[9]For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.

Mary bought a box of Alabaster oil to anoint Jesus with.

What is the cost of that box of Alabaster oil?

Alabaster oil is gotten from a tree that grow top of mount Himalayas.

That box was a man's one year's salary.

It's present value was put at about $54,500.

Beloved, this is indeed a huge sacrifice.

Are you still shying away from doing God's work?

I pray that Jehovah will move you to the sacrificial dimension of the christian life.

These men crossed in the enemie's line in order that David, a mortal man might be pleasured.

Even David seeing the manner of risk they took because of their loyalty also sacrificed the water.

What are you doing for Jesus? the one who laid down His life for your sake?

TEXT    2 KINGS 3 :   25-27

[25]And they beat down the cities, and on every good piece of land cast every man his stone, and filled it; and they stopped all the wells of water, and felled all the good trees: only in Kirharaseth left they the stones thereof; howbeit the slingers went about it, and smote it.

[26]And when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took with him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through even unto the king of Edom: but they could not.

[27]Then he took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a burnt offering upon the wall. And there was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned to their own land.

God had promised Israel victory over Moab.

Israel was pounding Moab and had beaten down  all the cities.

The king took 700 of his best men to breakthrough the weakest end but could not.

When the king of Moab discovered that he had been overwhelmed, he took his son, the one who would succeed him and sacrificed him upon the wall.

When God saw this dimension of sacrifice, God withdrew His support for His stingy and often ungrateful people.

This is explains the reason some believers have lost  some life threatening battles to the children of darkness.

Beloved, in what way are you bleeding for the gospel?

[25]And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.

Sacrifice is more giving up pleasure to get treasure.

Sacrifice helps us avoid pressure that would have come if a sacrifice is not offered.

Every man/woman that will make a mark on this earth must understand the power of sacrifice.

Until you forego something precious, you are not eligible for the top.

It is the sacrifice you make today that will determine where you will be tomorrow.

King David understood the power of sacrifice therefore he said to Araunah, I will pay for it.

He said that he could not offer what will cost him nothing to his God.

My prayer is that you will move into the dimension of sacrifice.

[16]And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands.

[17]And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the LORD'S deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them.

[18]And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed.

[19]And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.

The king of Israel found himself in a very sad and humiliating condition.

His kingdom was under attack by a much stronger Syrian army.

He needed a divine visitation for him win this battle.

I do not know the type of battles you are facing right now but I declare that in the name of Jesus Christ, you are delivered.

[23]And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:

[24]Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

[25]And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

[26]And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

All that Paul and Silas needed was a visitation from heaven.

When they started  praying and praising God, God sent them a divine visitor who changed their stories.

This is my prayer for you, that no situation can keep you down.

I decree a heavenly visitor to address every adverse situation in Jesus mighty name, amen.

[8]For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.

[9]And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

[13]And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.

[14]And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.

[15]And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

There are some situations that can not change unless there is a divine intervention.

The case of the mad man of Gadara was a typical example.

The man was so possessed by demons that he could not be bound, he terrorised to the whole community.

When Jesus appeared, the demon spirits troubling the man was arrested.

The man also became totally restored.

I see your peace and deliverance come to you today in Jesus mighty name.

This man received  divine visitation when Jesus healed him.

[15]And he that was dead sat up and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

[16]And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet has risen among us; and, That God hath visited his people.

Divine visitation is a situation where God visits His people.

The woman in the scriptures above was on her way to bury her only son.

Jesus appeared and raised the son from the dead.

This was nothing but divine visitation.

Today, I decree that God will visit you today in the exact area where you hurt in Jesus mighty name.

[7]And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

Divine visitation is a situation where heaven interferes in the affairs of a man  to bring about a drastic change to bring about a total turnaround in the persons condition.

Divine visitation can turn a barren land to a fruitful orchard.

When God pays you a visit, prophesies and promises become instant manifestations, destinies are fulfilled and massive results are seen.

Divine visitation is the answer to every form of stagnation and frustration.

Peter and his fishing team were already cleaning their nets as a result of waisted efforts but heaven visited and their stories changed.

I pray that you will receive a visit from heaven for the turnaround you have waited for in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

If research people who have achieved greatness in this life, they all have one thing in common, a determined and a Fighting human spirit.

Beloved, that a person is successful doesn't mean that sometimes they are not fearful, doubtful or want to quit.

Courage is moving forward despite the oppositions.

Fear and doubt can creep into the mind of the most courageous persons sometimes.

Successful people have learned by determination how to push through the periods of fear and doubt.

Refuse to seek the easy life, it is the burial ground for giants.

[13]Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

The cure for resistance is persistence.

Persistence is a character trait that even Jesus Christ our Lord honored.

Jesus told us a story from the book of Luke 18:2-5 and He said "Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

[3]And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

[4]And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

[5]Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me".

Beloved, you are the only one who can decide that the game is over and that you are the loser.

I know that you can still make it if you refuse to give up.

[13]Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Life is a battlefield, not a playground.

It takes a Fighting spirit to make the most of life.

It takes a fight for the airplane to take off from the ground. This same airplane must overcome friction to take off.

Before flight can happen, thrust must overcome drag and lift must overcome gravity.

This is how life is, if you do not break down the walls of opposition, they will choke your destiny.

In the book of  1 Corinthians 16 :9 the

 Bible said,

"For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries".

Beloved, be determined not to give up or throw in the towel, you may not know how close you are to your breakthrough.

[2]Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Jesus did not allow his temporary challenges to becloud His long term vision.

Do not allow your short term failures affect your long-term goals.

Thomas Edison the inventor of the light bulb and one thousand and ninety-one other revolutionary inventions persisted through so many failures but was determined, he never gave up on his dreams.

Determination is what separates the failures from the successful.

Obstacles are not signs of failures but are stepping stones for our miracles.

Proverbs 24:16 said that a just man falls seven times and rises again.

Beloved, rise from where you have fallen and keep on moving.

You are not a failure because of a fall.

[24]And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

[25]And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

[26]And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

[27]And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.

[28]And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

If you look at the story of Jacob, you will see that determination can change an individual into a nation.

You can be talented and intelligent but without  determination, you may never reach the top.

Until you make up your mind never to quit, you may never capture success.

A wise man said that many of the world great failures did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that things are difficult.

Never forget this, Every opposition is contesting for your position, refuse to give up.

[18]And Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham: and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them.

[19]And Isaac's servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing water.

[20]And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's herdmen, saying, The water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him.

[21]And they digged another well, and strove for that also: and he called the name of it Sitnah.

[22]And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.

Determination is a positive emotional feeling that involves persevering towards a difficult goal in spite of obstacles.

It is the ability to continue attempting to do something although it is very difficult.

There is a force that is embedded in the human spirit that can defeat all obstacles if deployed in the battles of life, it is called determination or resilience.

Isaac faced sever oppositions in his search for water in their largely desert region.

His greatness was predicated upon finding water for irrigation otherwise his dream of agriculture and animal husbandry would have been ended a nightmare.

Nothing great can be achieved without determination.

As you enter this new month become determined to succeed.

[26]And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall, there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my lord, O king.

[27]And he said, If the LORD do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress?

[28]And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him to day, and we will eat my son to morrow.

[29]So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said unto her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him: and she hath hid her son.

[30]And it came to pass, when the king heard the words of the woman, that he rent his clothes; and he passed by upon the wall, and the people looked, and, behold, he had sackcloth within upon his flesh.

I enjoyed watching " The rich also cry" a television series while growing up.

Shockingly, your status does not give you an immunity from frustration.

The king of Samaria was so frustrated that he tore his clothes and poured aches upon his head.

His royalty was reduced to a near lunatic level.

Frustration is an evil spirit, it has made many mad.

When the prophet came with a word, the siege was brought to an end.

I decree in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth who sits on the throne of Heaven, your frustrations are over.

Type a big Amen.
