[10]For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Beloved, God is not unfair, He is a great rewarder.

He is not a man therefore He does not forget.

He remembers all the little things that you do for His kingdom and He will surely reward you.

Sometime, you  wonder whether you have been forgotten but remember that even an unrighteous earthly king could not utterly forget Modecai.

Listen to what God declared in Genesis 8:22 "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease".

TEXT  PSALMS 37:25-26

[25]I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

[26]He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.

King David was both a king and a prophet.

He lived to a good old age.

He personally fought in over forty four battles.

He was a product of a very hard life.

He experienced so much difficulties but overcame all because of of the overwhelming help of God.

He it was that declare that the righteous can not be put to shame.

God's word can be trusted. He does not call people to waste their lives.

God's word said in Isaiah 45:19

"I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right".

Your services are right now being remembered in the courts of Heaven.

[4]Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

[5]And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

[6]And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

[7]And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

Beloved, before the miracle of the great catch, there was a great service.

Peter donated his fishing boat to Jesus for the advancement of the kingdom.

It was kingdom service that paid the bill for that miracle that ended with Peter fishing for men.

Always remember that God does not waste people, He builds people.

TEXT  EXODUS 23:25-27

[25]And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

[26]There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

[27]I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.

Dearly beloved, we would begin this morning by stating that the above scriptures are word from God.

We also know of a truth that Jehovah has never lied.

He has never made a promise without redeeming it.

These promises in these scriptures sound unbelievable, but they ensued from the author and finisher of our faith.

There were families who gave dedicated services to the priests who brought Christianity to our villages, these families still have names that echo.

God did not forget them nor their posterity.

In Psalms 35:27, the Lord stated it this way, "Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant."

If you truly serve the Lord, He will rise up in your defence now and in the future.

[17]How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger.

[18]They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away.

Beloved, prayer is the major way a mortal man can relate with an immortal man.

That relationship robs off on him the spirit of immortality.

When the spirit of God left Adam, the bible described his state as dead.

He was like a stubble before the wind.

He was like chaff, the substance was gone.

Dearly beloved, only prayer can unite you with the Lord and bring real life to your spirit.

[1]THE [empty-headed] fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable deeds; there is none that does good or right. [Rom. 3:10.]

[2]The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any who understood, dealt wisely, and sought after God, inquiring for and of Him and requiring Him [of vital necessity].

[3]They are all gone aside, they have all together become filthy; there is none that does good or right, no, not one. [Rom. 3:11, 12.]

Dearly beloved, whenever a man derails to the extent of denying the existence of God, he has gone very far.

This is the result of extended periods of prayerlessness.

One of the early signs of this ugly state is ignorance.

Their understanding becomes darkened, and their minds taken over by arrogance.

Their end is often very predictable, total destruction.

It's time to cry to God for mercy.

He will surely answer you.

Prayerlessness makes us naked.

This is a state of being without covering.

Prayer creates spiritual covering.

It brings the atmosphere of heaven into our situations.

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth is a prayer our Lord Himself thought His disciples.

It's only prayer that can create the presence of God in the affairs of a mortal man.

Whenever prayerlessness sets in, we become naked, however only the spiritual can feel it.

Fight prayerlessness like a plague.

[3]Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

Dearly beloved, our God is a jealous God.

He will never share His glory with another god.

He wants to help us and He is strong and faithful enough to do what He promised to do.

He wants you to ask Him.

Looking to Egypt is belittling His awesomeness.

He has never failed.

The Master knows the way in the wilderness.

Prayer reduces the blows that life delivers to us.

The Lord said that they should pray with Him for an hour.

Just an hour you would say, but an hour of prayer is a travel into eternity.

Why not pray for an hour today and you will be shocked at the result.

A high priest is an intercesor and a praying priest.

Our Lord didn't retire after He ascended into heaven.

He continued to interceed on our behalf.

Our greatest adverntage is that He lived on this earth and He passed through all that we are presently going through.

He is therefore able to empathize with our conditions.

If you talk to God, He is kind enough to intervain in your cases because He is a God who knows how you feel.

Beloved, the scripture said that we know that if we ask anything according to His will, He listens and hears us.

[15]And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.

Our God is both kind and loving.

The believer's confidence in prayer is that he will receive his petitions, glory.

[7]And he from within will answer, Do not disturb me; the door is now closed, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot get up and supply you [with anything]?

[8]I tell you, although he will not get up and supply him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his shameless persistence and insistence he will get up and give him as much as he needs.

The mystery of answers in the school of prayer is found in the spirit of persistence.

There is a smallish animal called the Honey badger, the Badger never gives up.

He makes the bulldog look like a toy.

The Badger has a rugged fighting spirit.

God expects us never to give up until we receive an answer.

Our persistence is seen by God as an act of trust and faith in Him.

[12]Wherein were all manner of four footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

[13]And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.

[14]But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.

[15]And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

Beloved, do you realize that peter got the instruction for this assignment while waiting on the Lord.

Their are certain assignments that God will never deliver to you on the bed of pleasure.

Beloved, prayer is not a joke, it is one of the most serious tasks ever to be delegated to a mortal man.

Prayer brings men into alignment with God.

Prayer transforms us to God's original likeness.

Prayer is like a divine ointment that makes us glow before our maker.

Prayer generates fire.

You can never be served to your generation until your flesh is dead, having been cooked by the fire of prayer.

[3]And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

[4]And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

[5]Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

[6]And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

[7]And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

[8]I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Dearly beloved, the Master Himself told us this parable.

He said that men ought to pray and not to faint.

Why, because there are some petitions that may take some time before it is delivered to us.

Of a truth, we do not know when God will answer but we know that He will definitely  answer if we continue with our petition.

The widow in this parable refused to accept no as an answer even though she had no powerful person to defend her.

Jesus wants us to approach God in prayer with exactly the same attitude.

Do not give up until you receive yes as your answer.

Beloved, it's time to pray over that matter.

Jesus was a praying God.

He thought the church how to pray.

He started His earthly ministry with prayer and ended it with prayer.

Do you know that in Heaven, Jesus still prays for us?

He is our eternal high priest who makes intercession for us according to the plans of God.

The consistent prayer of Jesus has kept the Church alive.

Do you know that your prayer has the ability to keep alive the things that are dying around you?

Beloved, it's time to pray.

Remember,  prayers outlive those who prayed them.

Welcome to a brand new week.

Each time I ruminate over the life and deeds of Moses, I am always amazed at the dimension of his faith.

He performed so many miracles that it became a normal way of life in his days.

He depreciated everything that had value in Egypt.

He reduced all their gods to absolute nonentities.

Ra, the Egyptian sun god was made blind for three days by the pronouncement of Moses.

All that pharoah boasted with failed him because a greater god Moses was in the scene.

I know that you will be shocked if I tell you that such powers reside inside of you.

Start resisting the devil by insisting and enforcing all your fundamental spiritual rights.

You will soon start seeing amazing results.

TEXT: MATTHEW 14:25-29

[25]And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

[26]And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.

[27]But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

[28]And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

[29]And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

Beloved as a child, I and my friends make paper boats and put them in gutters with flowing water.

We celebrate our boats until we put stones in them as loads and they would sink.

When I first read that Jesus walked on the water,I wondered, what manner of man Jesus was.

What kind of mind was in Christ.

He knew that in future many would argue that only God could do that so He asked peter to come and peter walked on water also.

You too can walk on all the waters that insult your salvation.

TEXT: JOHN 9:1-3

[1]And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

[2]And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

[3]Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

Glory, our Lord Jesus Christ answered that why the boy came blind  was so that God would be glorified on the earth.

How? 

At new birth, we were all recreated as agents of change. 

We are positioned in our families to turn around every ugly situation into a beautiful one.

We are territorial principalities for the kingdom of God.

We are planted in different locations as  heavenly policemen and law keepers.

Beloved, start arresting every satanic officer harassing the destinies of people around you in Jesus mighty name.

God bless you.

[6]And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus:

[7]Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.

[8]But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.

[9]Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,

[10]And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

[11]And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

Sometimes I wonder what some of these our fathers discovered that made them talk and operate purely as gods on the earth.

They all discovered that God loves to see His kids boast in His name.

My soul  will make its boast in the Lord (psalm 34v2).

God is not a show man but He loves to see His kids magnified by magnifying His awesomeness.

When was the last time you boasted in His name.

David boasted in the name of his God and the head of Goliath ended up in his bag.
