THE AUDACITY OF HOPE.
TEXT ROMANS 4 :18-21
18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
What is hope?
Hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen.
The audacity of hope refers to reckless boldness and daring fearlessness in the face of hopelessness.
Papa Abraham was facing a seeming impossible situation, where no one in his days had given birth at seventy years.
For papa Abraham, it was a hopeless and a very bad case, but he believed God.
He believed God that he would be the father of many nations.
He hope against hope that Sarah would still be a mother.
We are at a point in our nation that hope is required for us to be able to cross over to the other side, the side of victory.
I must confess that humanly speaking, it looks hopeless, but before the God that we serve, nothing shall be impossible.
Romans 8 verse
24 said that " For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?"
We may not have seen our exit from our present precarious state, but we have prophesies on our side that our times of bondage are over.
We must therefore hope against hope.
We must be ready to pay great prices for our freedom.
Beloved, continue to pray for us because if we relent at this point, we may all end up as slaves to the children of the bond woman.
God bless you.
With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.
Your case is not bigger than God.
May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Your Victory is already guaranteed
It is well, do not give up, with God all things are possible
