TOPIC : THE FORCE OF FAITH

TEXT : MATTHEW 9:27-30

27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us.

28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.

29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.

Faith is a force that works with the reflection of your conviction.

It is always unto you according to the level of your conviction in the word of God and His integrity.

The Bible said in Matthew 9 v 23 that all things are possible to him that believeth.

Faith is not a transferable force.

You cannot give your wife your faith.

Even our Lord could not transfer His faith to Peter when Peter was sick with a depleted faith.

He prayed for Peter that his faith fail not.

Faith is so important because it is the only force that determines your outcome in the fiery battles of life.

I stand on the platform of our Lord's priesthood and pray as He did for Peter that your faith fail not in whatever challenge you are facing in the name of Jesus Christ.

 God can be trusted.

25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

The force of faith is a force of rejection.

It takes the force of faith to refuse the offerings of sin and decadence where it has become endemic.

Degraded systems and behaviours become a way of life and everyone is expected to comply.

They often justify themselves with the cliche "if you can't win them, join them".

Moses demonstrated great faith by rejecting

The benefits of a godless system.

He was able to refuse and reject the system because the force in faith has a futuristic eye.

This eye of faith saw a greater tomorrow.

It saw a tomorrow that compelled him to reject the present evil.

Helping him to chose the harder right instead of the easier wrong.

It took faith for Jesus to endure the Cross.

He saw the crown and it's long term benefits.

Our generation is a very fast moving generation.

Highly kinetic but remember fast food is not usually the most nutritious.

Today, receive the power to reject sin and all its appearances in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

Faith is a spiritual force that  empowers you to do righteousness

Hebrews 11 verse 33 says that they wrought righteousness.

It is unrighteous for Satan to take over the steering of your family while a child of God is in the house.

God placed you in that family as a reminder to Satan of what Christ did to him in the streets of hell.

Jesus trampled on him in the streets of hell triumphing over all principalities.

Your presence in that environment is a reminder to Satan that he is a toothless and an amputated loser.

You are an enforcer of righteousness.

God sees you as a spiritual policeman who is empowered to arrest all illegal activities in your sphere of influence.

No sick, hopeless and impossible case should be found around you.

You are to heal the sick, open blind eyes and raise the dead.

If you are not doing this, you are not enforcing righteousness.

The force of faith is the force of righteousness.

It was by faith that Joseph resisted and rejected potiphar's wife's seduction.

When lust draws you after a woman, you are in trouble but if the same woman is the one after you then you are in a very big trouble.

It just means that Satan has made your life his headquarters.

Joseph would have ceased being just a houseboy if he accepted the advances from Potiphar's wife, but he would have eaten an apple but lost an orchard.

The faith of Jesus Christ saves us from a belittling life of sin.

As we enter a new week, may we afford sin and all it's appearances in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

Over seventeen years of actively working in the area of electrical/electronic engineering did not prepare me enough for kind of shock I had when I did a study on the nervous system.

The nervous system is a vast network of nerves, and brain cells that enable the body to do all things necessary to live such as breathing, eating, seeing, hearing and moving.

These are accomplished by the management of a complex wiring system that sends millions of electronic commands in seconds and minutes with accuracy.

The nervous system reaches every part of the body to connect millions of sensors and thousands of muscle bundles to the brain.

Only my God can do such wiring.

These sensors ensure that man can feel upon his skin the presence of tiny insects even such that the eyes cannot see.

The brain sends signals to the muscles to produce precise motion and movements.

The brain also transmits signals to the eyes to dilate to wet the eye to avoid drying of membranes in order not to prevent damage.

The human brain has more computing power than the super-computers that engineers have built yet the human brain requires only a tiny fraction of the space and energy required to run a super computer.

The nervous system generates it's own electricity and there has never been power outage.

My God is truly wonderful.

Our God is truly a God of wonder.

How great art thou oh Lord.

When situations and  threats from men of power seem to overwhelm my soul.

When betrayals and subversive comrades surround me like the jackals, I am often reassured by the unimaginable and unfathomable size of my owner, the one who numbered the strands of my hair.

I placed my gaze upon the Pacific ocean and I was dumbfounded.

The Pacific ocean is the largest ocean on earth.

It is 60,000.000 square miles in size.

Its like from California to China.

It is ten thousand feet below the surface of the water.

The Pacific is so large that if you put the entire landmass of the earth together and dump it into this ocean, it will swallow it.

Do you know that more lives exist in this ocean than in the whole of our earth.

Do you also know that the Pacific  Ocean supply most of the oxygen that is used on this earth.

What a great God we serve.

There is the little bird called Swallow.

The Swallow weighs less than a kilogram but it is one of the greatest wonders of my God.

The Swallow often flys over 2000 miles across the ocean during climate changes.

If you put a Swallow in a black bag, tie the mouth of the bag and take in front London to Newyork, when you release her, she will trace her way back to London.

This is why I know that those who believe that they have programmed your children towards a "no returne" are jokers.

With the same GPRS that He put in the Swallow, He is redirecting your children back home in Jesus mighty name.

Whoever programmed you to be hidden is losing the battle because my God is setting you free from obscurity.

10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron.

Our God is truly a wonder working God.

He is faithful to deliver you out of your present predicament.

In Noah's Ark of judgement, God camped ferocious lions with gentle goats in the same quarters.

The lions were hungry but would rather eat grass than attack the goats for God took away their appetite for blood.

No matter the anger of your enemies, your blood becomes poison to them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Our God gave a command to the most turbulent ocean never to overflow in boundaries.

I set a boundary today between you and your enemies.

They are permitted to hate you but they cannot hurt you.

You are indestructible

32 .............. but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

Our God is the God of wonders and those who know Him become strong by taking on His strength, so they become wonders on the earth.

Those who do not know their God end up as wanderers on the earth.

When the children of Israel got to the Red sea, they were practically speaking stuck.

By their sides were impregnable wilderness, behind them was pharoah and his killer army.

Before them was the Red sea.

They had neither boats nor ships but our God of wonders said to them, "move forward".

By the blast of His nostrils, the Red sea was divided eighteen miles apart in milliseconds by an eastern wind. 

A way was made where there seems to be no way.

When the children of Israel were done crossing, Jehovah buried pharaoh and his entire army under the Red sea and non of their bodies floated upon the waters.

Those contending with you are playing with mega 🔥 fire.

The one that paid for my head is a consuming 🔥 fire.

When your God is done with them, no one will see their bodies.

 Our God is truly great.

2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun.

Our God is the wonder working God.

He never cease to amaze me.

He is a most loving and miracle working Daddy.

He takes care of the minutest details regarding the events and challenges that we face every day.

They were in the wilderness for forty years.

They had no Doctor but the Bible said that "non among their stock was feeble".

Their bodies were immuned to sicknesses.

For forty years there was no record that they made new clothes.

There was no tailor in the wilderness but none of them lacked clothes at all.

Some entered the wilderness at the age of three, some twelve and so on.

God  probably gave life to their clothes and as they grew, their clothes also grew.

There was no cobbler but they never needed new shoes, their shoes grew on them.

These provisions were made for forty years.

There was no coincidence, it was the finger of my God at work.

Are you worried that your finances are running dry because you lost your job in this pandemic season?

Trust God.

If inanimate clothes and shoes can grow on an animated bodies, relax my God is bigger than your challenges.

14 Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?

15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him

16 He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.

This was Job's testimony.

This was inspite of what he went through in the hand of the forces of darkness.

He was set up after God had boasted about his faithfulness.

Job was a man of incredible faith and trust in God.

The church for long has taught us to control God with our faith but the Holy scriptures teaches us to allow God to determine our outcome with our trust.

If you don't see favorable material results, change your church.

Doctrines that feed fat the passions of the flesh but results in lean and malnourished human spirits.

Doctrines of devils, making the saved ashamed of their salvation and  wishing they were never saved.

Doctrines that diminish the power of the cross and the majesty of our Christ.

The song writer put it this way, "trust and obey, for their is no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey".

God's children are not insulated from the challenging pangs of a  fallen earth.

They are not insulated from the persecutions of the righteous.

These indignities and injustices for our God will one day be the anthem of our new kingdom.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for,

the evidence of things not seen, but trust hopes for nothing and has no evidence.

If God does not do it, let it never be done.

If God does not give it to me, may I never own it.

If God does not take me there, may I remain where I am.

Another song writer puts it this way," my hope is built on nothing less but on Jesus and His righteousness.

I dare not trust my sweetest frame.

1 Then Job answered and said.

2 I have heard many such things: miserable comforters are ye all.

3 Shall vain words have an end? or what emboldeneth thee that thou answerest?

4 I also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake mine head at you.

5 But I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips should assuage your grief.

6 Though I speak, my grief is not asswaged: and though I forbear, what am I eased?

11 God hath delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked.

13 His archers compass me round about, he cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth not spare; he poureth out my gall upon the ground.

14 He breaketh me with breach upon breach, he runneth upon me like a giant.

The above were the lamentations of a man whose faith seem not to have produced the desired results yet his trust was unquestionable.

He had lost all the things that we pride ourselves as the material manifestations of answered prayers.

At this point, his friends had started asking him to search  himself very well for hidden sins.

These sins were the reasons God isn't answering.

Materialism is actually a religion of the flesh. Consummated by Lucifer and his demons.

Delivered by pastors who are hostages of hell, in a theater that is called the church.

Job refused to equate mamonic  materialism with spiritual salvation.

He decided to trust until the end.

His reward arrived before the end.

His patience is legendary, and was quoted in the book of James.

May we cease to see our God as a free supermarket that yield to our vocal codes.

24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Jesus our high priest is able to save us totally and completely no matter the challenge.

He is committed to delivering those who come to God through Him.

Jesus has a name that is above every other name.

When you call on that name with understanding, power errupts.

The Bible says that all knees must bow, of things in Heaven, of things under the Heaven.

Whatever has a name must bow to the superior name of Jesus.

Cancer has a name.

Kidney problem has a name.

HIV has a name.

Low sperm count has a name.

Homonal imbalance has a name.

If it has a name, it has intelligence.

If it has intelligence, it hears the Lord.

Trees hear Him.

Storms hear Him.

Even death hears Him.

Today, that your pproblem will hear my Lord and you will receive your peace in the name of Jesus Christ.

TEXT :  HEBREWS 11 : 36-40

36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

These verses  were referring to experiences that departed saints went through in their service to a most powerful God.

In the service of their father, some were hewn into pieces like fire wood.

Some were burnt on stakes, while others were served as meals to lions and other carnivorous beasts yet they died trusting.

They watched their faiths gradually dissipate as their spirits severed from their earthly bodies yet they trusted that their eternal reward will be worth their earthly pains.

They looked forward to an eternal paradise of tranquility where their father promised them.

Do not change your God, do not change your church, trust the ever faithful God, His reward is forever.

23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

We are begotten of the word of God.

By this I mean that we are the direct products of God's word.

The believer is the product of an incorruptible specie.

He is the product of a pure breed.

Horse racers know that there are special breeds that you don't have to train rigorously to win races.

They come from a generation of modified genetics of winners.

We are those ones that the word has produced immortality inside of our spirits.

We have triumphed.

We have subdued the forces of this world.

We are not bindable yet we bind all things.

I pray for you that as you enter this new week, you will put the word into action for instant results in the name of Jesus Christ.

TOPIC : THE WORD OF GOD HAS POWER

TEXT :  1 CORINTHIANS 1: 18-18

18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

The word of God is the power of God.

Inside the seed of the word is the power of God hidden.

Those who are not born of the word think that this is really foolish.

But in the book of Hebrews  4 : 2-3,

the bible says;

2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

May the word profit you as you start to mix and mingle it with your faith in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

God almighty declares here concerning you that you are indestructible.

You are a project that cannot be destroyed.

You are not manufactured for failure.

You are the most advanced product existing on the face of the earth.

You are not killable.

You can never be disadvantaged and no situation can put you to shame.

You shall take up serpents refer to the manner issues and complications you will be dissolving.

Moses took up serpents in the palace of pharaoh and mesmarised Egypt with signs and wonders.

You are the Moses on the scene today.

With your rod, that is your mouth you will liberate your destiny and that of everyone around you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
