Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Beloved, sometimes I imagine what you must have gone through this year.

I know that there are times when you might have thought of giving up.

I also know that you might have put in your best shot but you have not seen your desired change.

I have come to break the latest new from Heaven to you.

The Almighty God, the creator of the universe asked me to tell you not  Remember  the former things,

Behold, I will do a new thing.

God Himself, the one that has never lied before said that He will do a new thing in your life.

He said that He will make a way in the wilderness of your life, and water in your desert.

Our Daddy is the only one that can declare the end of a thing before the beginning.

He has already concluded on your case.

Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Who are the royal priesthood?

Many people have defined believers based on our earthly identities, but our true identity can only be found in Christ.

We are a royal priesthood.

This is a type of priesthood that is designed in the order of the spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As a royal priesthood, we have direct access to God and live out our spiritual identity with humility, grace and purpose.

We are not the everyday people, we traverse the two dimensions of heaven and earth.

Our priesthood makes it possible for us to command things on earth and immediately get heaven to back us.

We do not die, we have defeated death and the grave, bravo.

The same spirit that raised Jesus from the grave, is constantly energizing our mortal bodies.

It's your time to shine.

What is a chosen generation?

These are the people who are redeemed through Christ.

They are the ones who are purchased by the blood of the Lamb.

God chose them in Christ.

He chose them before the foundation of the earth.

because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.

This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.(Isaiah 43:20-21)

God finishes a thing before beginning them.

He had planned our redemption before the beginning of times.

He knew all the challenges on the way to man's salvation and did something about them from the foundation of the earth.

This is why we saw in 

Revelation 13:8,   "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world".

Amb slain from the foundation of the earth means that this predestination happened before Adam and Eve fell.

Aren't you exited that God chose you?

I am a chosen kid of the most high God,

And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Beloved, we have a Helper who is from Heaven.

This Helper is custom made to be able to deal with all my problems and challenges irrespective of their design.

The world learned the art of war from Jehovah the man of war.

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.(Psalm 91:1-3)

We serve a God that designed us in such a way that whenever we begin to render dedicated services to Him, we become invincible.

No matter the type of missile that is fired at us, we have an in-built system that demobilized them.

As we continue to serve God, we get to a level where all things whether good or evil begin to work for our good.

In Christ, there is no failure, no death and no destruction.

When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;

And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.

Dearly beloved, these disciples were getting massive results and shaking their world by the miracles that has been wrought through their hands.

When the religious leaders of the day heard of the exploits, they arrested them with the intention to kill them.

While the devil was yet rejoicing about his seemingly successful brigandage over the disciples, the ancient of days gave him an upper cut.

An angel, stormed the prison and released the disciples and  them and led them to the temple to continue speaking to the people about the name of Jesus.

 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation,

And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.

But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,(Acts 5:15-19)

They were arrested again and brought before the Sanhedrin, the highest decision making body of the time.

The Holy Spirit used Gamaliel, a highly respected member of the Sanhedrin to release them.

Beloved, you cannot be trapped and you cannot fail.

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of the father

Dearly beloved, Jesus earned this name when He spoiled principalities and powers.

Jesus gave that name and the power behind it to the believers when He ascended into Heaven.

Jesus said "In my name you shall cast out devils".

Beloved, one of the major strategies of the devil is to muzzle the mouth of Christians so that they don't mention the name of Jesus.

The name of Jesus torments devil an his demons.

The name of Jesus sends and imprisons them in hell.

You need to put this name to use if you want victory in your life time.

Begin to administer this name in every situation and mountain that appears in your life and your victory is guaranteed in the name of Jesus Christ.

1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

When the healing of this crippled man went viral, peter and the other disciples were arrested by the high priest and council.

They were asked by what power and by what name did they get the crippled man to walk?

And they answered in Acts 4 : 7-10;

7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

So the high priest even know that names carry power and that everything both living and dead recognize the power in names.

Circumstances, situations and storms recognize names.

Jesus has the name that is above other names.

If right now you are in a bad situation, call that name in faith and you will receive an instant turn around in Jesus mighty name.

18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

The enemy knows the power in the name of Jesus and bows whenever the name is used.

Witches and wizards, ogboni and all secret cults know the type of power that is in the name of Jesus.

Ogbanje and marine based spirits avoid confrontation with this power.

Whenever they hear this name, it reminds them what Jesus did to their master over two thousand years ago.

How my Jesus made a show of satan's defeat in the streets of hell and triumphed over all principalities and powers.

The effect of the name of Jesus is worse than nuclear weapon when deployed against the forces of hell.

I do not know what is tormenting you today but remember that Jesus also paid for your freedom.

As a child of God you have the authority to use the name of Jesus.

10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

David challenged Goliath of Gath by a name that is stronger than the name of other God's.

The head of Goliath ended up in the shepherd bag of an armless teenager.

Moses challenged pharaoh and his entire army by the name of Jehovah the God of host.

Pharaoh and his entire force were buried in the red sea.

The philistians captured and carried the Ark of the Lord of host and held it hostage in the coven of Dargon their God.

The next day Dargon was totally defeated and destroyed.

They also paid heavy to voluntarily return the Ark that they thought they had captured.

All the names of the Lord and the powers they carry have been hoisted in the name of Jesus.

That is why the name of Jesus in above every other name.

If you are confronted by demons, use this name.

If you face killers, fearlessly use this name.

If you are attacked by rapists, use this name.

If you are drowning, use this name.

May the Lord give you victory in the performing name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

[24]Up to this time you have not asked a [single] thing in My Name [as presenting all that I AM]; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy (gladness, delight) may be full and complete.

[25]I have told you these things in parables (veiled language, allegories, dark sayings); the hour is now coming when I shall no longer speak to you in figures of speech, but I shall tell you about the Father in plain words and openly (without reserve).

[26]At that time you will ask (pray) in My Name; and I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf [for it will be unnecessary].

[27]For the Father Himself [tenderly] loves you because you have loved Me and have believed that I came out from the Father.

THE NAME OF JESUS IS AN OPEN CHEQUE.

God who gave you this open cheque expects you to withdraw from this whenever there is a need.

Jesus said that for so long you have not used this name which has been given to you.

James said in the chapter four of his book that you have not because you ask not.

Jesus declared that it is your right to ask.

I pray for you that from today, you will start to utilize this great gift that God delivered to you for your all round victory in the name of Jesus Christ.

The name of Jesus is a name that is full power.

The name of Jesus is not a religious emblem that we use to start and end prayers.

It is a  🗝️ key of authority that provokes healings, deliverances and breakthroughs.

Jesus said that if you ask anything in His name, He will do it for you.

It is an emblem of awesome power, more potent than all the electricity generated on the earth.

All that power is designed to work for you.

Jesus Christ is that name.

In Philippians 2 verse 9, the scripture said that God gave Jesus Christ His son a name that is above all other names.

When you call this name, no matter the situation, it must submit to your superior power.

This name in above other names in heaven, on the earth and under the earth.

As you learn to use it, may God give you answers in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Before Jesus ascended to be seated at the right hand of the father God, our father, He said  in MATTHEW  18-19 :

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

In the name of Jesus their is awesome power to change every condition.

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

THE NAME OF JESUS IS GOD'S SIGNATURE OF AUTHORITY.

In Ephesians 1:20-21, the scriptures talk about rule.

[20]Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places],

[21]Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.

Rule here refer to two things.

1) The authority that governs.

2) The decrees by which he governs.

This means that it does not matter what rules had been made or set, Jesus over rules every rule because He is far above all rules, authority, power and dominion.

Therefore, always remember that when you use the name of Jesus, all existing rules, authorities, powers and Dominions opposing your reign bows in the name of Jesus.

TEXT : PSALMS 31:2-4

 Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.

For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.

Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.

Beloved, the psalmist was demonstrating to us here our Father's ability and capacity to pull us out of storms.

God is our fortress, He is our hope in the times of trouble.

A fortress is a hiding place and a place of protection.

It's a place where the raging storms cannot reach.

Our Daddy is faithful, who would never watch us be destroyed by any kind of trouble.

Our God is our rock, this is only a description which is an understatement.

It is stated just for our comprehension.

My father created not only the rock, but the mountain also.

I know that this particular storm will also soon pass away.

TRUSTING GOD IN THE STORM

TEXT : LUKE 8:23-25

 But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.

And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.

And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

Beloved, the Bible said that when they saw how Jesus commanded the storm and it obeyed, they wondered, "what manner of man is this".

Friend, that's exactly the manner of man/woman you have become.

He said that these signs shall follow those who believe.

  "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.(Mark 16:17-18)

By implication, the storms of life does not have dominion over them.

That the believer has has the final say over his destiny no matter the type of storm that the enemy chose to bring his way.

The believer has the authority to rebuke the storm and stabilize his life.

This is heaven's expectation of you.

Refuse to disappoint God and get ready for great exploits.

TRUSTING GOD IN THE STORM 

TEXT : MATTHEW 16:18-19  

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Beloved, the gates of hell are storms, terrible and devastating storms.

Jesus told Peter that He would build His church and  the gates of hell would not prevail against it.

Jesus was not referring to a physical building, He was referring to the believers.

He expected believers to be fed with the word until they become indestructible.

They are raised to become immune to the destructive systems of this dying world.

Whatever the believer resists on earth, is resisted in heaven.

We are developed to become storm-killers.

We are a breed that defy every storm that the devil can raise.

When the devil comes like a storm, the spirit of the Lord will surely raise a standard.

TEXT : ROMANS 1:16-17

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Beloved, God is a Tabernacle, a stronghold and a shield at all times, but especially to those who have come to know Him.

The great apostle Paul said that he was not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, because it is the power of God unto salvation unto those who believe.

What is salvation?

It means preservation or deliverance from harm, ruin of loss.

Beloved, the gospel of Christ when ingested into the human spirit becomes a spiritual jacket that is able to protect us in times of storm.

The gospel is beyond words, they are spirit and they are life.

They are living and very active.

"For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith."

The righteousness of God means our right standing before our God.

It also means an endorsement from our God.

Beloved, you are sealed with a "TOUCH NOT SEAL".

Your daddy has also given a command to the ocean that it cannot overflow it's boundaries.

Beloved, storms can be unsettling.

Storms are scary, no wonder the disciples of Jesus screamed out of fear.

They thought they were all dead even though Jesus was in that same boat.

If you live in a stormy place, you need an insurance policy.

This world is so stormy that you can't live here without an insurance policy.

To have Jesus is to be saved, to keep Jesus is to remain saved.

Beloved, if you have disconnected, make haste to return.

Even Jesus in His earthly sojourn recognized that in this world, you will have tribulations, but in (Him) Christ, you will have peace.

TEXT :1 PETER 5:10

 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Why does storms come?

Storms are like exams that are set at the end of each academic calendar.

Those who pass these examinations are qualified for promotions.

Examinations are set both for those who studied and those who didn't.

Storms are like that.

Whether you prepared for them or not, when their season comes, they will visit.

Like examinations, they do not come to stay.

They are for a season.

We are therefore as soldiers of Christ be prepared for stormy days.

We do this during the sunny days.

No good student prepares for examinations in the exam halls.

Two types of houses were hit by the storm.

The house that was not built upon the rock was blown away.

Can you withstand the next storm?

With Jesus in your boat, you are insured.
