TEXT EPHESIANS 4:27-29

27 Neither give place to the devil.

29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

HOW DO WE GIVE PLACE TO THE DEVIL?

The scripture commanded us not to permit corrupt communication to proceed out of our mouths, but that which is good to the use of edifying or for building up lives.

Whenever you are speaking corrupt and polluted word, you are giving a place to the devil.

John 10 V10, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy...."

So a man may think that he is just talking, but he is issuing out invitations to demonic forces who will ultimately move in to wreck havoc in his life.

Beloved, let us begin to practice tongue management.

God spoke and brought everything we see today into reality.

Creation is first the imagination of God, it remained in His heart until He spoke them out to being.

God made us in His image and likeness.

Whatever He does , He wants us to copy.

He did not finish every thing that should be created. He wants us to continue with creation.

We can recreate our world with our spoken words and we can correct everything that is wrong with our lives by deploying the weapon of our tongue.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

God's word is alive, powerful and creative.

God's word created everything we see in this physical universe.

God's word or words spoken through the lips of God's representatives are potent and powerful.

When we speak like our father, we harvest results like our father.

Jesus was hungry, saw the fig tree, went to the fig tree, but was disappointed.

He told the fig tree to die, the fig tree died.

You words can create, they can also destroy.

In John  6:63 Jesus said,

63 .... the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Beloved, your words are not empty, they carry energy.

Keep on speaking, you will wake up one day to see that your words has changed your life.

Beloved, the bible said that God rested on the seventh day.

Does it not amaze you that someone only spoke and had to rest.

This means that mouth work is not cheap work, however it's better than handwork.

If you do not specialize in mouth work, you will end up with handwork and handwork is equivalent to hard work.

If you want a beautiful life, begin to declare it with your mouth, very soon, you will begin to see it.

TEXT  EZEKIEL 37:1-7

1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.

4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.

5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

To prophesy is to say that a certain thing will happen in the future.

You can only see what you say.

Words are like seeds, you will harvest the quality of seeds that you sow.

God told prophet Ezekiel to prophesy to the dry bones, but He also told him what to say.

This is because what you say, determines what you see.

Here what God told Ezekiel in Ezekiel 37: 5-6 :

"5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD."

Beloved, yours is to prophesy, God's role is to deploy all the resources needed to bring it to pass.

TEXT  PSALMS 77:13-16

[13]Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

[14]Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

[15]Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

[16]The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.

Experientially,  king David who was a prophet knew God's  technology of intervention.

He was severally delivered from seemingly impossible  situations.

He knows what  button to press to access the help of God.

He declared that the ways of the Lord can be found in the sanctuary.

Notice, he did not say in His sanctuary, but in the sanctuary.

The sanctuary here refers to your personal alter.

Whenever you activate the technology of the alter, you move the battle from the human realm to the divine realm.

The serpent is one of the most dagerous animals to confront.

They are cunning and swift in battle, but they stand no chance when they have a confrontation with the eagle.

The eagle picks up the snake with it's iron strong claws, flies to a height that is alien to the snake.

Saul came with a troop to arrest Samuel at  Naioth Ramah but ended up stripping himself naked prophesying from morning to evening.

1 Samuel 19:23-24,

"And he went thither to Naioth in Ramah: and the Spirit of God was upon him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah.

And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?"

This is the faith of those who will rise up against you in the mighty name of Jesus.

[17]That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

[18]May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

[19]And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

Recently I began to study the prayers of different saints of God.

One thing that I discovered is that when you read a man's prayers, you immediately discover the dimension from where he did ministry.

If you compare these prayers to our pulpit prayers and declarations, you will truly become worried about the content of our spirits.

Our prayers are bereft of any spiritual content.

Beloved, this world is not our final home.

Let us live as pilgrims  and pray like warriors.

Let us place our minds and hearts in the heavenly realities.

Christ in you is truly your hope of glory.

[23]But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

[24]God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Jesus who is the only one who has seen the Father said that the Father is seeking for truthful worshippers.

I didn't know that the one who created the whole world would have a need.

The Son said that the Father is ernestly searching for true worshippers.

The earth is full of carnal and fleshly worshippers.

These are pretenders and decievers.

Men and women whose worship do not get to their spirits.

God hates pretenders.

Prayers are seeds, God's answers are  harvests.

There are different types of prayers just as there are different types of seeds.

The type of seed sown is type of harvest expected.

Each type of prayer has a way of praying it. 

There is a way to plant tomatoes, it is different from how potatoes are planted.

Because of how important prayer is, we must commit time in mastering the act of praying.

God has given us a guarantee that seed time and harvest is a divine law.

The best way to learn how to pray, is to start praying.

Determine today that you will be the one praying for others,

That you will never be a prayer project.

Dearly beloved, there are times we need to bring total worship to our God.

Responsibility is a sign of maturity.

As we grow closer to the Lord, the content of our prayers begin to change.

Our prayer language also begin to change.

When our prayers begin to align with God's divine plan for His earth, we are maturing in sons of God from children of God.

It is at this point that God begins to hand over responsibilities to us because we have become partners with our maker.

What type of prayers do you pray?

Are your prayers all need oriented, are they all about you?

Begin to pray like Jesus did, "thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven".

What is prayer?

Prayer is not merely a dialogue.

It is more of a relationship, an intercourse than a dialogue.

To the christian, prayer is an expression of heart towards God.

It's the demonstration of a very deep heart felt love towards God.

Our Deity expects us to always come to Him with boldness.

He assures us of His compassion and understanding of our weaknesses and obvious human frailties.

We become strong when we mingle with Him.

We lose our humanity and gain His divinity.

In the place of prayer, He deposits in us what He carries.

He carries total power, total wisdom and total knowledge.

Whoever does not pray is but a puppet in the hands of demonic spirits.

They are merciless and will continue to abuse all the God given privileges of such christian.

Wake up, oh ye that sleepeth

3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Hope is the back-bone  of faith.

Hope that is fully matured is equal to faith.

Anybody who is not in hope can never be in faith because faith is only balanced where there is hope.

Never forget that hope is the building block of faith, where there is scarcity of hope, there is barrenness of faith.

Hope is the mysterious energy that draws help from God.

Hope in God attracts the help of God because as long as your hope is alive, your help is on the way.

Beloved, always remember that the help of God travels in the direction of hope in God.

Do you know why everybody is not helped equally ?

It is because everybody does not hope equally.

18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.

There are times that a people become disappointed.

Whenever this happens, the door to despair and disillusionment is opened.

Beloved, realise that you are not dealing with a feeling but you are being encircled by  an evil spirit.

Isaiah 61 v 3 ,

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;....

The spirit of heaviness is a spirit that destroys hope.

The bible admonishes you to forget the former things, God said that He will do a new thing.

We must trust God as we corporately hope in the new thing He is doing for us in Jesus mighty name.

[15]And Naomi said, See, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law.

[16]And Ruth said, Urge me not to leave you or to turn back from following you; for where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people and your God my God.

[17]Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, if anything but death parts me from you.

[18]When Naomi saw that Ruth was determined to go with her, she said no more.

[19]So they both went on until they came to Bethlehem. And when they arrived in Bethlehem, the whole town was stirred about them, and said, Is this Naomi?

This story is not typically about Naomi, but the story of one of the greatest exploits of faith and stubbornness of hope.

It is the fact that hope has an eye that can see beyond the darkness of the moment.

It is the story of a resilient spirit that refused to rest until she received the manifestation of that which she could see only with the eyes of hope.

Ruth was determined not to leave the periphery of her destiny even though no prophet, big or small prophesied her role in the birth of the Messiah.

She captured it by dedication and a unique kind of compassion.

She could have dumped Naomi like a used piece of toilet tissue like most people we meet in life.

When they are done using you, they dump you.

You might have nurtured them like your own babies but as soon as they have wings, they fly away.

Ministry is some times like nursing baby vipers that can never repent from striking their rescuer.

Ruth was rewarded by the great rewarder.

She became one of the greatest women in history.

You too can be heroic in devotion and service until you are remembered for your stubborn faith.

Refuse to be a predator of the godly.

[18]Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

[19]And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:

[20]He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

Hope is the bedrock of faith because faith is the substance of what we hope for.

If you remove hope, faith becomes helpless.

Nobody can be in faith without hope.

Faith starts to make sense when there is hope.

The scarcity of hope is the bankruptcy of faith.

Hope is the magnet that draws help from God.

Hope in God attracts help from God.

As long as your hope is in place, your help is on the way.

Beloved, everybody is not equally helped because everybody does not hope equally.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

 

Dearly beloved, there are times we prayed and hoped that God would come through quickly for us.

These are times when we believe that God has forgotten about our cases.

In such seasons,It's as if the Heavens have closed against us.

God said that He is not slow concerning His promises.

This means that it might look slow in our eyes, but God is working our miracles out.

You will soon be announced to your world.

The uninitiated May mock and laugh thinking that the day of you manifestation May never come, but they will all be shocked at what your God will do.

He will use you as a show piece.

He will soon silence all your mockers.

I pastor obinna, I know whom I have believed, He alone can save to the uttermost.

Begin to celebrate, your time has come.

Beloved, do you know what it means to be the son/daughter of a president?

Have you ever imagined what it will feel like to be a prince or a princess?

To be the center of attraction, and be the one who calls the shot.

I was shocked to learn that there is a position that is bigger than being the kid of the king.

It's being the kid of the king of kings.

One young lady asked me today if I was actually the one who write this devotional everyday, I said yes.

She was filled with amazement.

It now downed on me that it couldn't have been me, it must have been the power of sonship.

It comes from a well that is of the Lord whose I am to fill.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:(John 1  v12)

We are now the children of dignitaries.

We shall therefore arise and shine.

We shall make declarations and they shall stand for where the word of the king is, there is power.

TEXT: COLOSSIANS 2:14-15

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

God did not plan that His kids would be disadvantaged in this world.

He made adequate plans concerning our provisions and peace of mind. 

He planned for us before He brought us here.

He knew that we would be confronted by jackals, hyenas and many other terrible beasts.

He sent His son to come ahead of us in order to destroy every situation that would endanger us.

He destroyed whatever would want to destroy us.

He made us victorious on all sides, glory.

Now we are free to live out our lives without fear of defeat and shame.

TEXT:  JOHN 1:4-5

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Beloved, the Bible declared that "in Christ was life".

This means that before Christ came to the world that death prevailed.

Jesus Christ introduced Zoe, the God kind of life into the world.

Jesus offers physical,   spiritual and eternal life to all men.

He is that life giving spirit.

In this life is the light of men.

This means that whosoever does not have Jesus persists in darkness.

This type of light that Jesus carries is free, but was purchased by the blood of the Lamb of God.

The new man in Christ does not carry a light for illumination, light radiates from his spirit.

Darkness cannot stand him.

His presence destroys charms and incantations.

His light frustrates the tokens of the wicked, that's the kind of man you have become.

 for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Beloved, do you know that our God no longer lives in buildings made by mortals.

When He became our father, He decided to live in the inside of us.

God living in the inside of us has made us extraordinary beings on the earth.

God has truly done a new thing.

He does not have to come from Heaven to intervene in my earthly matters anymore.

The supernatural God now lives in me.

Can a demon live inside the same vessel that hosts the Ancient of days?

Can ancestral spirit share this body with God?

Can witches and wizards contend with this type of being?

Never, no mortal dares to play with high tension.

I have a very big God oh,

Living inside me, a very big God oh, inside me, inside me. Hallelujah, I am a living wonder.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Beloved, do you realize that you are a new person from the day you received Christ.

The very moment you received Christ, you were changed into a brand new person.

There was a switch.

Everything about you changed.

A new person was introduced into your spirit.

This new man was created in the order of the spirit of Christ.

This new man does not die.

He cannot be sick, he cannot be poor, he cannot be destroyed, he cannot be put to shame.

This new man is a super man.

This new man is immune to failure.

He simply cannot fail.

The Christ Himself lives in the inside of you.

This new man is already a new being.

He is a god on the earth.

He has total dominion and authority to operate here, bravo, we are winners always.

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Beloved, we live in a world where everything is an illusion.

Everytning we see with our optical eyes are passing away.

We have been conditioned by carnality to imagine that the things we see are permanent.

One thing that is beyond a fact is that everything is changing.

The very condition you are weeping about is subject to change.

It's only a matter of time before your own change occur.

Beloved, there are two technologies that ensure change in this realm of existence, they are prayer and fasting.

Once you do not give up on these tools, you will surely testify, very soon.

God is working out a new life for you, just hang on a little while.
