TEXT LUKE 7:12-15 

Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.

And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.

And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.

And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

Jesus entered into the city of Nain and saw a crowd following a widow who had lost her only son.

It is  a disaster to lose a husband, adding an only son to that morbid list is simply adding iodine to an open wound.

The whole city trouped out with her in the solidarity of this morbid disaster.

This widow thought that she had been sentenced to a life of pain, sorrow and loneliness.

It was almost a faith accompli until Jesus appeared.

The widow of Nain received a last minute miracle.

You reading this devotional today will also receive a last minute miracle before tomorrow.

  LUKE 5:3-6

And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

Dearly beloved, Peter was a master fisherman, he was an expert.

He had deep understanding of the water having done the same thing every other night.

This very night, Peter and his team started as usual with expectations, but by the time it was dawn, they had caught nothing.

It was a night full of disappointments.

It was at this time that Jesus appeared and requested to borrow his fishing boat as a platform for His crusade.

When He was done using the boat, He asked Peter to go ahead and cast the net again.

Peter knew that that was the wrong time to attempt catching these smart fishes.

It's easier in the night, now the can see the hook, the net and the fishermen.

Peter reluctantly agreed, 

What he didn't know was that the magnitude of catch was going to change the direction of his life forever.

Beloved, I believe that the last minute miracle of this season will change your life forever.

You will wake up to discover that you have left Egypt.

It will be so sudden that you will begin to shed tears of joy.

  2 KINGS 20:5-6, 8-10

Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears:* *behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day?

And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken:

shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?

And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.

King Hezekiah was sick, and prophet Isaiah was sent to deliver a message of doom to him.

Hezekiah rejected the evil report even though it was from the lips of a man from God.

When God saw his rugged faith, He honored it.

God honors the faith of men.

He told prophet Isaiah to return to Hezekiah and recant his words.

After Isaiah was done speaking to Hezekiah, Hezekiah insisted on a sign.

Isaiah told him that the Lord would make the day break by about ten hours faster.

Hezekiah said it was Normal for the day to break.

He wanted something that was not normal.

He wanted the ten hours to reverse.

Isaiah told the Lord, and it was done.

What manner of men were these men who could place these tough demands on God.

These are men propelled by God's kind of faith.

You too can hold God to His promises.

He is a wonder working God,

Hallelujah.

He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.

He gave them water to drink from the rock.

They were over three million people.

The water from the rock became streams and rivers of water.

God is not intimidated by your needs, nor the number of people who have the same needs at the same time.

He is more than enough.

He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, (Ephesians 3:20)

God will do exactly as He has promised, He is a covenant keeper.

And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians.

And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the* *Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.

Beloved, there are people who are pursuing you today without knowing that they are digging their graves.

God does not spare those who attack His children.

Can you imagine the wickedness and Foley of the Egyptians.

You pursued someone into the sea, and you joined him.

Any person that jumped into the sea has already sacrificed himself, must hatred drive you into the sea also?

That is the pitiable condition of some of your enemies, but their ends are predictable.

They will end up in the sea of their hatred.

As for you, not even a strand of your hair will be lost, you are an overcomer, you cannot be destroyed.

  JOSHUA 6:20-21

So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword,

Beloved, the wall of Jericho was designed to be impregnable.

The wall was about 12 feet high, the weight was such that a vehicle could drive comfortably on it.

It was humanly impossible to collapse this wall and attack the city.

Where the strength of a man ends, there the wisdom and might of our God begins.

God ensured that the warriors of Joshua went without a weapon 🔪.

They were armed with a heavenly strategy.

The moment they deployed the wisdom of God, the wall of Jericho fell down flat.

I do not know the issues that are trying to embarrass you now, but I know that your present Help in times of trouble will rescue you.

He has already activated His shield for your protection.

Beloved, you will soon begin to sing the song ,"what a marvellous God, He has done marvellous things For me."

The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

We serve a wonder working God.

We serve the all wise God.

Our Daddy is a God whose works are the pure manifestation of wisdom.

My Daddy built the earth upon the waters.

He created an invincible foundation upon the waters.

It's an intricate piling technology yet unknown to man that He used to suspend the earth upon the waters.

My Daddy used the law of gravity to suspend the moon, Sun and the whole galaxy from dropping on the earth or colliding with each other.

That huge mountain will not crash upon you.

It may look so close, but you will not be scratched.

It will be pulled away by a force greater than gravity.

That's who your Daddy is.

The one that fights with the Sun, the moon , the ocean and the stars will deliver from this present trouble in Jesus mighty name.

God said that when you leave, you shall not go empty handed.

He said that He will give you favour in the sight of those who used you.

I do not know how many years they used you?

I do not know how many years they abused you?

The God of Heaven sent me to tell you that you will not go empty handed.

You will be restored.

They will pay you for using you.

Wipe your tears, there is a recompense.

God will bend their will to pay you all they owe you.

It is time for your restoration.

There will be nothing stolen that will not be restored, that is the plan of God for your life and He that promised will hasten to perform it.

And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants.

 And he answered, I will go. So he went with them.

And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.

But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.

And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.

Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.

Beloved, the leaders in the church of Elisha gathered around him and told him that they needed to expand the building.

He gave his consent for them to carry out the expansion project.

In the process, and ax head which was borrowed fell into the water.

It was indeed a disaster because it was a very expensive tool in those days.

The man who was using it cried, "Alas master, it was borrowed".

It's painful to lose your belongings, but it's worse when it is borrowed.

The prophet took a piece of wood and threw it at exactly the place where they said the axe head fell.

As the piece of wood was thrown in, the ax head floated.

God is committed to your recovering all that you have lost the enemy.

Just as the power of God floated the ax head, in same manner, all that you lost will began to locate you in Jesus mighty name.

Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

Job knew something most of us do not know.

He understood that God never abandons His own.

It does not matter how bad that condition looks, if you are on a journey with God, be rest assured that you will end up well.

There may be no light in the tunnel, but you will come out unhurt and unscathed.

Job declared that even if devil succeeds in destroying his body, that he would still see God in this body, which means that he knew that God would  restore him.

God can recover, He can also restore.

No matter where you find yourself, He is ready to restore you.

All you need to do is to cry out loud to him and He will help you.

And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the* *Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire;

And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.

Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.

And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.

Beloved, David and his warriors had returned to Ziklag after some conquest only to see their camp had been raided, burnt, their wives and children abducted.

This great warriors wept until they could not cry anymore.

They wept until they had no tears anymore.

They took up stones to stone David.

David knew that God owes restoration to His children.

He asked if he should purse his enemies, the Lord told him to pursue that he would surely recover all.

Beloved true to God's word David recovered all.

I do not know what you have lost, whatever it is, but I have a word from the Lord for you.

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Our Daddy uses restoration to reverse shame.

Shame is the result of afflictions.

In our highlighted Bible verses, God declared that He would restore all that you have lost.

He even said that He would restore lost years.

Lost years are the years you did your best yet you had no results.

You pushed very hard but forces of delay would not let you prevail.

You were overwhelmed by forces stronger than you, but the greater than all power has given a command to all the powers to restore all they have stolen.

From now, you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied.

Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest.

Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise.

Restoration is a spiritual right of God's Children.

Just like we have fundamental human right, you also have fundamental Spirit right.

Beloved, the very day you became born again, a major restoration began in the realm of the spirit.

Firstly, you became a new person that never existed before.

The old man died and a new spirit man was given birth to.

This spirit man is of God.

He is a god, he is the offspring of the Almighty God.

He is a commander in the universe.

I am a commander so I begin to command by declaring the things I want to see.

I restore all that Satan and his cohorts had stolen from me.

My lands, money, relationships, health, joy and my peace.

Satan, you have no right to hold back any of my properties.

I receive a hundred fold of all that I lost in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

27 Neither give place to the devil.

29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

HOW DO WE GIVE PLACE TO THE DEVIL?

The scripture commanded us not to permit corrupt communication to proceed out of our mouths, but that which is good to the use of edifying or for building up lives.

Whenever you are speaking corrupt and polluted word, you are giving a place to the devil.

John 10 V10, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy...."

So a man may think that he is just talking, but he is issuing out invitations to demonic forces who will ultimately move in to wreck havoc in his life.

Beloved, let us begin to practice tongue management.

14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

Beloved, do you realize that the word  in your mouth is like fire, capable of consuming your adversaries?

God spoke to His servant Jeremiah and revealed to him that his words were like fire and God likened his enemies to pieces of wood.

God revealed this to show us the mighty power that is available for us which dwells in our mouth.

But painfully, so many people are ignorant and oblivion of this weapon.

Many will weep when we get to heaven and they discover how easily they would have defeated the enemies that frustrated them while on earth.

But for me, when I get to heaven, I will see all the witches and wizards that the fiery arrows from my mouth sentenced to hell.

TEXT HEBREWS 11:3

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

This world as you see it today was in a flux.

It was words that produced all the things that you see today.

Words are stronger than bricks, they are used to produce all manner of metals.

The words that must be used depends on the type of material you are trying to produce.

In the book of Mark  :11:23, the Lord said,

"23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; ...." 

This scripture said that whosoever shall say to this mountain.

It did not say whosoever shall think or murmur about the mountain.

God want's you to speak because He knows that power is mobilized through the spoken words. 

Beloved, begin to speak now and you will be rebuilding those damaged walls of your life.

TEXT GENESIS 2:1-2

1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

Beloved, the bible said that God rested on the seventh day.

Does it not amaze you that someone only spoke and had to rest.

This means that mouth work is not cheap work, however it's better than handwork.

If you do no specialize in mouth work, you will end up with handwork and handwork is equivalent to hard work.

If you want a beautiful life, begin to declare it with your mouth, very soon, you will begin to see it.

TEXT ISAIAH 55:10-11

10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Beloved, when you make a confession, it becomes a decree.

When you are speaking your desires, you are instantly activating the spiritual realm.

If you declare negative words, you are activating the demonic realm, but if you declare God's promises over your life, you are activating the Angelic realm.

In Proverbs 6:2  God declares, " 2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

This means that your words can act as a trap over your life and destiny. 

It can also act as an accelerator of your destiny.

Choose the words that you speak because the words that you speak carry power and they have consequences,

[8]But the human tongue can be tamed by no man. It is a restless (undisciplined, irreconcilable) evil, full of deadly poison.

[9]With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who were made in God's likeness!

[10]Out of the same mouth come forth blessing and cursing. These things, my brethren, ought not to be so.

The tongue is a weapon, it's like an AK 47 rifle.

It responds to whosoever presses the trigger.

If a child presses the trigger, the result will still be as devastating as when an adult does that.

Your words transmit heavy voltages and this energy can be used for either constructive or destructive purposes.

Begin to rebuild your world with your words.

Become deliberate, the results will amaze you in a short while.
