TEXT  GENESIS 8:22

[22]While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Prayers are seeds, God's answers are  harvests.

There are different types of prayers just as there are different types of seeds.

The type of seed sown is type of harvest expected.

Each type of prayer has a way of praying it. 

There is a way to plant tomatoes, it is different from how potatoes are planted.

Because of how important prayer is, we must commit time in mastering the act of praying.

God has given us a guarantee that seed time and harvest is a divine law.

The best way to learn how to pray, is to start praying.

Determine today that you will be the one praying for others,

That you will never be a prayer project.

[16]That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

[17]That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

[18]May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

[19]And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

Recently I began to study the prayers of different saints of God.

One thing that I discovered is that when you read a man's prayers, you immediately discover the dimension from where he did ministry.

If you compare these prayers to our pulpit prayers and declarations, you will truly become worried about the content of our spirits.

Our prayers are bereft of any spiritual content.

Beloved, this world is not our final home.

Let us live as pilgrims  and pray like warriors.

Let us place our minds and hearts in the heavenly realities.

Christ in you is truly your hope of glory.

As you plan your new year, let prayer be one of your major tools.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Dearly beloved, the last twelve months were times of uncertainty in our world.

Our world experienced confusion, violence, blood shed, natural disasters and all types of tragedies.

People are daily becoming hopeless and wandering how they can ever experience peace.

Beloved, we do not live in the hope of man.

Even Jesus Christ was betrayed and denied three times.

Man's hope has very high margin of failure.

It is not sustainable.

Man May even intend to fulfill his promises, but he cannot control all the factors negating it.

Don't put your hope in the words of your doctor, he is mere human.

He can only do his best.

Here, we are talking about the hope that Jesus brought.

This kind of hope is confident expectations. There is always a way out no matter the magnitude of the trouble or challenge you face in any area of your life right now.

Beloved, never forget that Christ in you is the hope of glory.

TEXT 1 JOHN 5:4-5

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Beloved, the birth of Jesus was a rescue operation, to save the fallen man.

The man that lost his life, authority and position in God.

Jesus came and created a new man in their spirit.

Who is this born again man?

The born again man is the product of resurrection.

The best that heaven can boast of.

The born again man has passed from death to life.

The born again man is the most dangerous man on the earth.

Born by the most dangerous person that ever lived, a person who had to kill His own son to deliver His enemies, isn't that a strange type of person.

When God wanted to form the born again man, He took out from Jesus righteousness and Holiness.

He doesn't act Holiness, he is Holiness, he doesn't act righteousness, he is the embodiment of true righteousness.

The raw material that was used to form the born again man is extracted from Jesus.

He is not a renovated man.

The born again man is a man that is born again, not a man that is rebranded by God.

Whatever is born of God overcometh the earth.

He is the amalgamation of mortality with immortality

He is God's workmanship, created unto Christ Jesus and ordained for great works.

That's who you are.

[25]And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.

[26]And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

Dearly beloved, the elderly prophet waited for  the birth of Jesus "the consolation of Israel".

Jesus is not only  consolation for Israel, He is also sent as our consolation from all the pains, persecutions, betrayals from humans who simply forget kindnesses done for them.

He is our consolation in a world that is dead in compassion and love.

Our consolation is that Jesus brought us a type of life that is eternal.

He has brought us a hope that is beyond our degradable body.

He is also the one who was sent to deal with the sin problem.

'And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins'.(Matthew 1:21)

Christ came inside of me, to save me from my sins.

19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Joseph the foster father of Jesus was introduced to his son by the Holy spirit.

He would have backed out of that marriage arrangement but for his divine encounter.

He would have also lost the opportunity of a life time to be forever remembered both here and in eternity as the one who played the fatherly role to our Lord.

As we continue to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, may we seek to know Christ the more in Jesus mighty name.

The gospel of Christ enlightens us on how God has made us right in His sight.

This is accomplished by faith in the finished work, not by our efforts.

It is God's own operation.

It is the gospel that defines a person.

Until you receive the impact of the gospel, you are not defined and your destiny is not definite.

Until you understand your identity in Christ, the price that has been paid on your behalf and what God has purposed for you through His death, burial and resurrection, you would not understand the reason for your life.

When you understand this, you will cease to be a pawn in the hands of preachers of seducing messages and merchants of death.

As you prepare for the new year, be determined to know Christ, His death, His resurrection and His ascension.

And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.

Beloved, we live in a toxic and faithless environment.

Sometimes we are so frustrated and exasperated, thinking that God will not show up.

He is a very present help in times of need.

The enemy will not have the upper hand in your life..

Never ever think that God has forgotten or abandoned you when you are facing challenges.

We have an assurance in the world that we cannot be stranded.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.(Isaiah 43:2)

The widow of Zarephath thought that it was over, but God was at work on her case.

God has seen you in your struggles, He has also seen you in that battle 

You will soon see that God is up to something if you tarry.

The widow obeyed and everything change for her and her family.

If you will obey God in the new year, you will surely testify that our God is good. The widow obeyed the prophet and entered into abundance.

The difference will be made by the quality of team you attacked the year with.

The difference between two coaches, is usually their understanding of the strength of each team member and how to match them in other to get optimum result.

In approaching the new year, there are some friends that we would have to remove from our teams.

There are some we would have to change their roles.

Don't allow any unserious friend eat into your time.

Some friends are like caterpillars, avoid them this new year.

Beloved, avoid unserious people, they may not be enemies, but the result of their presence in your life is the same with that of your enemies.

Beloved, begin now to place them in order of importance against the tournaments of next year.

As you do this, May the Almighty guide you in Jesus mighty name.

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Dearly beloved,

It is very important for us to begin to understand the level of what Christ did on the cross and the victory He won on our behalf.

The word of God declares that He has cancelled the charge of our legal indebtedness.

This also means to wipe out or wash away all that made us legal captives.

We had the overbearing weight of sin and eternal condemnation over our heads, which empowered the devil to bring accusations against us before our God.

As you prepare for the new year, realize that Christ through His death utterly destroyed the accusations that gave the enemy legal hold over our lives.

Remember that you are free from generational curses, traditional curses and all other curses.

What we have now are generational blessings, traditional blessings and all other types of blessings that are reserved for us.

 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Beloved, this scripture said give and it shall be given to you.

The mystery of giving is that you will always receive much more than you gave or you sowed.

What you gave is likened to a seed that is sown.

No seen germinates in lesser quality.

Seeds naturally germinate in multiple forms.

If you are very careful, you will see that the Bible said that when you give, that men will give to you.

When I see people who consistently complain that people don't give to them, I know that I have seen a stingy person.

If you wish to receive favors from men next year, then begin now to sow into the lives of people.

 Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.

Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.(Ecclesiastes 11:1) 

God is saying here that we should not be tired of sowing.

We should be assured that there will soon be results.

Your next year will be filled with multiple liftings in Jesus mighty name.

And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Beloved, we are not alone in this world, we coexist with forces that you can not explain their activities scientifically.

Just like we have natural laws, we also have spiritual laws.

These spiritual laws govern even the natural laws.

These spiritual laws may not add up when we subject them to physical analysis, but if you try to run your life here in earth without them, you will be terribly frustrated.

Your next year will not make sense if you remove giving from your bag of arsenals.

Giving is the spiritual law that ensures that lack is kept far away from your life.

In this kingdom, you do not get to give, you give to get, you sow to reap, you give to receive.

This is a law, it cannot be broken.

"  Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only".(Philippians 4:15)

If you intend to enjoy financial bliss in the year 2025, you will add the weapon on giving in your arsenal.

In these 365 days, there would be times that you would need mercy.

At times like these, only mercy can see you through.

These could be times when decisions concerning you would be taken, yet you have nobody to speak for you.

There would also be times when stray bullets and arrows of accidents had been perfected to destroy your life.

At times like these the seeds of mercy we have down, begin to return as massive harvests of defense.

You cannot succeed in the year 2025 if you avoid the giving covenant.

Your seed will speak peace and open doors when your God can smell the sweet smell from your sacrifice.

Beloved, when preparation meet with opportunity, the foolish term it good luck.

There is nothing like good or bad luck. Luck is what the unprepared of this world use to explain out their failures.

If you are well prepared for a task, you will not need luck, either the good or bad one.

How prepared are you for the year 2025?

Will you let it drift like last year?

Will you hand it over to fate?

If you leave the new year to chance, you have no chance.

You must assemble a team and be prepared to fight.

You must do battle of you want your destiny to count.

You must begin to pray like you never did, begin to learn about God.

Become tired of hearing what He did with one ancient prophet and another, tell Him to show Himself to you for the now.

You are not a step child of God, ask Him to reveal Himself to you.

He will show up, He is the rewarder of those who seek Him diligently.

Beloved, in dealing with the next year, you need a lot of time management.

Begin now to allocate greater time to the most important areas of your life.

Realize that time is one commodity you don't have in excess.

If you wasted time this year, ensure that every minute of your next year is fully accounted for.

Not planning well is planning to fail.

Take a note book and begin to put down your plans.

Planning is a task that you must take seriously, otherwise time wasters will plan for you.

Everything is after your time, be determined not to share it with frivolous activities.

As you begin to plan your 2025, I pray that the God of Heaven will grant you your purpose on this earth.

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Beloved, if you must win next year, you must begin by the study of the Bible.

You must also begin to learn the art of meditation.

Regurgitation, the art  of pulling up the scriptures you have read and begin to chew them again and again.

You will also begin to practice what you have read, and trust God to perfect your insight in the scriptures.

If you must conquer next year, you must be resilient and fearless.

You must be rugged and brutally tough.

Your faith must be like that of a bulldog, never giving up.

If you attack the new year with this mindset and preparation, next year would have already yielded like a pack of cards.

TOPIC : PREPARING FOR THE NEW YEAR

TEXT  GENESIS 3:8

 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

Adam was so blessed and empowered in the beginning that whatever he named remained so.

God agreed with everything Adam named, such was his wisdom and authority.

In Genesis 3 the serpent crept into the garden and deceived Adam and Eve.

After the fall, Adam and Eve began to hide in the same garden that had earlier provided them with security and covering.

When they heard the voice of the Lord in the garden in the cool of the morning, they hid themselves.

Beloved, I know that you may have gone through many tough situations this year, but don't let them push you away from God.

If you must succeed in the coming year, you must never hide yourself from God.

With God on your side, you are already a winner.

TEXT  GENESIS 3:8

 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

Adam was so blessed and empowered in the beginning that whatever he named remained so.

God agreed with everything Adam named, such was his wisdom and authority.

In Genesis 3 the serpent crept into the garden and deceive Adam and Eve.

Beloved, next year will be basically like this year that is gradually coming to an end.

Next year will consist of days, weeks and months.

Each one of us will end the year with different results, depending on our levels of preparation.

If you begin to prepare for January in January, you would have lost January because you started very late.

You do not prepare for a war in the battle field.

Those who must win, must begin there preparation before the war.

Beloved, the new year is by the corner, begin to put down what you expect to achieve and also begin to design your strategies for achieving them.

Go through your strategies over and over and select the best.

This includes your human resources.

By this, I mean your friends, workers and relations.

This is how to begin your preparations for next year.
