TEXT: COLOSSIANS 2:13-15

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Beloved, you contributed nothing to your salvation.

The Bible said that we were dead when Jesus came and gave us life.

We could not even give Him our lives because we were dead.

We were saved by grace and the mercy of God.

Before Jesus came, we were marked people, marked for destruction.

Rejected and abandoned in the market place of the dead.

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Jesus did all these at no cost to us, but it cost Him His life.

Beloved, believe Jesus.

Whatever He tells you, believe Him.

He loves us too much to fail you.

God bless you.

With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

Your case is not bigger than God.

May you have a God filled week in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Your Victory is already guaranteed

It is well, do not give up, with God all things are possible

TEXT   EPHESIANS 2:8-9

[8]For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

[9]Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Grace simply mean to receive something you do not deserve.

It is called unmerited favor.

Beloved, we are all products of grace.

Our redemption is purely unmerited favor.

Jesus took the punishment we deserved and we got the freedom we did not deserve.

If He did it while you were without God, why do you worry as if the next breakthrough would be purely by your great efforts.

Remember, there were two felons by Jesus as He was being crucified.

One was by His right, while the other on His left.

The one on the right was remorseful and repented.

Jesus forgave him and declared him fit for Heaven.

This man made heaven purely by grace.

He was not baptized, never received the Holy Spirit, never spoke in tongues, never did any good work but made Heaven by grace.

As we have entered into this new day, may you collide with so much mercy from God in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

God bless you.

With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

Your case is not bigger than God.

May you have a God filled week in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Your Victory is already guaranteed

It is well, do not give up, with God all things are possible

TEXT   ESTHER 6:1-3

[1]On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.

[2]And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.

[3]And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king's servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.

Mordecai had saved the king but had remained a gateman.

His good deed did not immediately redeem his ugly condition but on the night grace spoke for him, all protocols were suspended.

Wipe your tears, if God could take away sleep from king Ahasuerus so he would remember Mordecai, He would take away the peace of your helpers until they remember you.

You might not have merited what you are about receiving but someone paid in full for you.

Keep on trusting and believing.

God bless you.

With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

Your case is not bigger than God.

May you have a God filled week in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

TEXT   PSALMS 75:5-7

[5]Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

[6]For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

[7]But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Favour is the special affection of God towards a believer that makes him command positive attention.

Favour makes others like him and desires to help him.

When favour is at work, natural laws are suspended.

The bottler forgot Joseph when he was released but God did not forget him.

You may be going through delay now but God will surely come through for you.

Truly promotion comes only through the Lord.

He is a master in changing our stories.

God bless you.

With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

Your case is not bigger than God.

TEXT   ROMANS 9:15-16

[15]For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

[16]So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

It's good to work hard, it is profitable to labor but realize that labor without favor is equal to hard labor.

It is favor that changes the destiny of a person or a people.

Psalms 127 v1-2 says

"Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep."

May you receive the favor of God today in Jesus mighty name.

TEXT   PSALMS 33:16-20

[16]There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

[17]An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.

[18]Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

[19]To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

[20]Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.

The horses draw the chariots, which were the equivalent of today's armoured vehicles.

Prophet Elijah being a man yet out ran the chariots of king Ahab.

It is God that grants victory, it's not the size of your supporters nor your preparation.

It is called grace, it's a force that undermines failure whenever it's around.

May Jehovah Elohim grant you grace in the name of Jesus Christ.

TEXT   2 SAMUEL 9:1-7

[1]And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?

[2]And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.

[3]And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.

[4]And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lodebar.

[5]Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lodebar.

[6]Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!

[7]And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

Mephibosheth, received his establishment at his father's cost.

He did nothing to deserve his lifting.

In the bible days people with physical disabilities were not permitted to appear before the king.

Mephibosheth was a cripple but grace located him.

In this new month, Jehovah will be your qualification in Jesus mighty name.

Mephibosheth was hidden in Lodebar.

Lodebar means no pasture, it means no communication.

People in Lodebar do not hear from God.

They lack His presence.

The Lord in psalm 23 promised us green pasture, but in Lodebar there is no pasture.

Beloved in this month, God will remove you from your land of Lodebar to the land of His promise and presence in Jesus mighty name.

Grace has already paid the price.

TOPIC : DO YOU BEAR YOUR PASTOR'S BURDEN ?

TEXT :  MATHEW 26 : 36-46

36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.

37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.

38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt

40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

43 And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.

44 And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

45 Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

46 Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.

Jesus our redeemer was faced with the most challenging burden of all, laying down his life for the redemption of mankind.

He took three of His disciples to a place that is called Gethsemane to help Him intercede in prayer.

Satan was battling to negotiate our salvation, our Savior needed the prayer power to fight this horrendous attack.

If God in man's clothing needed prayer for a situation, certainly Pastor Obinna needs your prayer so he would not fail.

Any Pastor whose people are not praying for is a disaster that is waiting to happen.

Please House of Faith remember me always in your prayers.

Beloved that is  reading this devotional, please pray for your pastors in order to avert the plans of the devil over their lives.

Please set up prayer teams for me, always remember me in your prayers.

TEXT : EXODUS 17:8, 11-12

Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.

And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.

But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun

There was war between Israel and the Amalekites.

Joshua was the commander of the Lord's army.

Beloved, Moses the servant of the Lord was on the top of a mountain with Aaron and Hur.

Ss long as his hands were lifted up, the army of Israel had the lead.

Whenever his hands were down because of fatigue and weariness, the Amalekites begin to win.

To ensure victory, Aaron and Hur had to put stones as support for Moses's hand and also held up his hands until their enemies were defeated.

Do you know that your pastor can be discouraged sometimes?

Do you know that there are times when he is so traumatized that he feels like giving up.

When you watch your pastor fight in his weary and tired state, how do you respond?

Do you gather a team of other rebels to help you gossip about his weak state?

Never forget that his weakness is the result of his many battles to ensure that your not devoured.

Those scars you see lacerating his body are wounds inflicted on him in his many attempts to shield 🛡️ you from beasts.

Some give up their comfort for you to be comfortable.

Church members, comfort your pastors,

TEXT : 2 KINGS 3:11

....... And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah.

Dearly beloved, do you know the meaning of the one that pours water on the hands of Elijah?

It means someone who has developed a care ministry, in order to take care of another.

This helps the other one to focus in the fulfilling the ministry which the Lord has called him unto.

Elisha dedicated his entire life to serving Elijah.

He had no other passion in life.

Are you bearing your pastor's burden, or are you one of his biggest nightmares?

Does your pastor feel exasperated whenever your name is mentioned.

Do you add to his burdens?

Every pastor prays for burden bearers.

Men and women who make God's assignments easier to accomplish.

Are you one of such?

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them,

Beloved, did you feel disappointed that some people who are suppose to assist you didn't? Hummmm!

It could actually  be that they were going through very challenging situations.

Your helpers  may also need help sometimes in case you don't know.

Stop getting angry with them, you might even have been in  better condition than they were.

THE VEHICLE THAT SUPPLY FUEL ALSO NEEDS FUEL TO MOVE.

Haven't they helped you before?

[13]There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Dearly beloved, there is no trial that is targeted against you, no matter how it comes or where it comes from that is not common to man.

But God is faithful to His Word and to His compassionate nature.

He can be trusted not to let you be  tried  beyond your ability, strength, resistance and power to endure.

He will through the same temptation  also provide the way for your escape to a soft landing place. God will ensure that you are able, capable, strong and powerful to handle it.

TEXT ROMANS 8:28

[28]And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are  called according to His purpose.

This scripture is my turning point.

It screamed aloud one day in my spirit and settled every anxiety for good.

The Holy spirit revealed its deeper meaning to me.

The letter was removed and the rhema was clear.

God is saying that no matter how turbulent it May seem, you should be rest assured that He will turn it to your advantage.

No matter the size of the satanic aggression against you, that it will end up in your favour.

God declared that whatever is brought against you, will turn to praise.

When He speaks to one, He speaks to all, that scripture is also speaking concerning you.

Your story will end in praise.
