TOPIC : THE AUTHORITY OF A CHILD OF GOD.

LUKE 10:17-19

And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

In our anchor scriptures, our Lord Jesus Christ transmitted authority over to his followers.

He gave them authority over all devils, irrespective of their height, size or color.

He did not give them partial authority but total authority.

With this, the believer can silence every opposition to his dominion.

With his authority he can silence any ragging storm in his life.

The believer can determine the outcomes of everything he puts his hand in.

He is a unique type of being on the earth.

This being is certified failure proof.

He cannot fail, he cannot be disadvantaged in this world.

He is a being that is developed for total victory, that is who you have become.

You are a commander in this world.

Dear child of God, my Daddy sent me your way this morning to reveal to you who you are.

You are a living proof that Christ defeated the world and all it's systems.

He defeated sickness, death, poverty and shame.

Our anchor scriptures said that these signs shall follow the children of God who believe.

When you believe you are turned into a living spirit.

You begin to weild Authority over all the creations of God.

Beloved, don't bother about doubters, the scriptures said in..

(Hebrews 4:2-3) For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

For we which have believed do enter into rest,

Why are you described as a living proof that Jesus defeated the devil?

Because right now you can tell tumors to die in your body and that of others and the tumors will obey you.

You can address problems and they will obey you.

Everything on earth dreads your voice because you received a voice that devils bow to.

Begin to address all challenging issues of your destiny.

He is a victor and always in control of all the elements of this world.

He is not a mere man, he is a living spirit.

He cannot be sick, he cannot die, he cannot fail, bullets cannot kill him, no weapon manufactured on earth can destroy him.

Beloved the moment you realize who you are, your prayer points will change.

The Lord spoke to me in the camp saying, "redemption confers on you total dominion".

The child of God is sitting with Christ in God, he cannot be destroyed, he is a living spirit.

[5]And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.

[6]And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.

[7]And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness.

[8]And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.

Dearly beloved, the Lord has marked you out for a supernatural lifting.

Your turnaround would not be traced to any mortal man.

Your days of weeping are certainly over.

 All the rods were kept in the alter.

There was no soil, no water, no manure, no sunlight in the alter yet the rod that had Aaron's name on it budded and brought forth fruits.

You may feel empty, look empty and worth nothing humanly speaking but because your God has carved your name in the palms of His hand. Your story is changing soon.

All you need is to trust in this changeless God and suddenly, your story will change.

Why do we prepare for Thanksgiving as if we won millions of dollars in a jackpot?

Because we know that God is not yet done with us, He is still in control of our lives.

Satan has not taken over the steering wheels of our lives.

We prepare heavily to thank Him because of what is remaining.

We may have had challenges but our lives were spared.

Thanking is a law that when obeyed makes us whole.

It is also our father's commandment.

[33]But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

[34]And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

[35]And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

Beloved, this is a popular story that Holy spirit showed me another angle to.

The bible said in that parable that our Lord shared that after beating him, they left him for dead.

Some situations mighty have dealt with you and left you for dead, thinking that it is over with you.

Never forget that God is not yet done with you.

It's turning around for your good.

You are rising from these ashes in Jesus mighty name.

[9]And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.

[10]And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.

[11]When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.

[12]And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.

Beloved, all the time apostle Paul was teaching, many there would have been preparing for Eutychus' funeral.

What they did not know was that God was not done with his case.

Refuse to let the devil have the last word in your matter.

What you say matters.

You are not ordinary, you are a spirit in the order of Christ.

You must have whatever you say.

Dearly beloved, your case may look bad but it's sure not over.

Declare the outcome and watch out for God's outstretched hand in performance.

[3]And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go.

[4]So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.

[5]But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.

[6]And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.

[7]Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.

Dearly beloved, have you been in a situation where you lost what you borrowed?

It is a very challenging situation.

It's bad enough to lose what belongs to you.

Losing what you borrowed from someone makes you look unserious. 

It is a very difficult thing explaining to someone who showed you kindness that you can not at least return that which was given to you freely.

I have been there myself.

The prophet appeared and intervened and saved them from shame.

In your own time, the God who will not let you fall into shame will intervene speedily in Jesus mighty name.

[15]And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

[16]And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

[17]And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

The king of Syria was at war with Israel, but his strategies were constantly being leaked to his enemies.

When he discovered that it was prophet Elisha who had the ability to hear discussions made even in the king's bedroom.

The king then sent hundreds of soldiers to go arrest the prophet.

The servant of the prophet was scared when he saw the number of the soldiers who had come to arrest them.

The prophet knew something his servant didn't know, that God would not abandon him no matter the situation.

In your present circumstance, God is still in control in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

Beloved, there are times the pressures of hell pulverizes you to the extent that you start to wonder if God has gone for a holiday.

Other times, it's as if God has fallen asleep.

But the bible tells us that He neither sleeps nor slumbers.

God is a covenant keeper, He does not forget.

The Psalmist, king/prophet David said that he never saw the righteous abandoned.

Child of God, He will not start with you.

Keep on trusting, God is still in control.

And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Beloved, growing up, I believed that rapture was the figment of the imagination of some Christian fanatics.

I thought that it was just transported into the Bible to create fear.

When I become a child of God, it became clear to me that what John received at Patmos was what must happen.

It was delivered to him as a warning to us, so that no one would say, "I was not warned".

Everyday and everywhere, people are perishing.

It is not the will of God that these people will perish but they neglected the warnings and ended up in hell.

Beloved, time is running out on humanity.

Do something about your eternity now.

[12]Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

[13]Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Dearly beloved, as you have given your life to Christ, realize that you  are no longer the old person, you are now a new man.

You were not the one that committed those sins.

Stop mourning your past, let it go.

God told Samuel to forget the failures of Saul and move on.

Paul declared that he was an expert in forgetting the past.

The reason you do not drive looking at your rear mirror is because it can only see your back.

You need to focus on your front in order to avoid accidents in the future.

Since you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior, forgive yourself, forget the past.

Remember that your salvation is not in your past.

[3]For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take any [extra] oil with them;

[4]But the wise took flasks of oil along with them [also] with their lamps.

As the Lord's second coming approaches, how prepared are you?

Are your lamps filled with oil?

What are your plans for eternity?

Are you still living for your flesh alone ?

AS a child of God, begin to ask your Daddy for a ravenous spiritual hunger.

Do not forget that time is running out.

3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

When it comes to knowing God and His dealings, teaching is good, studying is equally good but the game changer is revelation.

Who is Christ to you?Do you really know who Jesus is?

In the book of Matthew  16 : 13-15, Jesus was seen asking His disciples who do they know Him to be.

13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

Peter finally answered by revelation and Jesus said to them, only my father in Heaven could have revealed me to you.

Who preached to the wise men from far away East.

No one, they caught it by revelation.

Today, may you receive a revelation of who Christ really is.

Who  is this Jesus?

Is Jesus one of the dead prophets?

Was Jesus a man that discovered another religion?

When you discover Jesus by revelation, you will never forsake him

Apostle Paul was armed with a letter to  arrest and  bring the followers of Jesus to Jerusalem for destruction.

In Acts 9 the Bible told us how the resurrected Jesus confronted and arrested Apostle Paul the arrestor.

Apostle Paul said in Acts 26:13-15

13 At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.

14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.

You can't encounter Jesus and still doubt His divinity.

People still have personal encounters of Jesus Christ.

Today, pray and say;  Jesus please reveal yourself to me.

He surely will.

Today may you receive a revelation of who Christ really is.

TOPIC : HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW JESUS

TEXT :  ACTS 10 : 1 - 6 

1 There was a certain man in Cæsarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,

2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.

3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.

4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.

5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:

6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.

CORNELIUS ENCOUNTERED JESUS BY REVELATION.

Cornelius was not a Jew, he was a Gentile.

He was outside of the covenant of those to be saved at his time but certain practices gave him an encounter.

This season of your, avoid overindulgence in activities that do not add anything to your relationship with the Lord.

It is a time to separate and keep asking the Father to give you a revelation of the Son.

Continue with this prayer, pray and say;  Father please reveal Jesus to me.

He surely will.

Today as you go about your business, may you receive a revelation of who Christ really is.

TOPIC : HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW JESUS

TEXT :  MATTHEW 1 : 18-21 

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Joseph the foster father of Jesus was introduced to his son by the Holy spirit.

He would have backed out of that marriage arrangement but for his divine encounter.

He would have also lost the opportunity of a life time to be forever remembered both here and in eternity as the one who played the fatherly role to our Lord.

Have you had an encounter with Jesus?

How well do you know the Lord?

You must seek to know Him.

When was the last time you heard from Him?

Can you even identify His voice?

Do you really know Jesus?

Beloved, stop whatever you are pursuing, and begin to pursue the only thing that is eternal.

May we seek to know Christ Jesus the more in Jesus mighty name.

TOPIC : THERE IS POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

TEXT :  MARK 16 : 17 - 18

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

By divine ordination, every child of God is born a sign and a wonder on the earth.

The name of Jesus is the key to answered prayers.

This is the only name that commands the attention of God to intervene in the affairs of man on the earth.

The name of Jesus Christ can and will always deliver victory to you in the battles of this life if you believe.

I do not know what you are going through today, but if you will apply this powerful name of Jesus in faith, you will cut off the head of that serpent in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC : THERE IS POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

TEXT :  ACTS 3  :  1 - 10

1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

When the healing of this crippled man went viral, peter and the other disciples were arrested by the high priest and council.

They were asked by what power and by what name did they get the crippled man to walk?

And they answered in Acts 4 : 7-10;

7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

So the high priest even know that names carry power and that everything both living and dead recognize the power in names.

Circumstances, situations and storms recognize names.

Jesus has the name that is above other names.

If right now you are in a bad situation, call that name in faith and you will receive an instant turn around.

TOPIC : THERE IS POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

TEXT :  PHILIPPIANS 2  : 5  - 11

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death on the cross.

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The name of Jesus is the name with the greatest power in heaven and on the earth.

It's like a loaded bazooka.

If you learn how to use it, you can never be stranded in this life.

You are not to use this name in vain.

It's a name loaded with power for our freedom from all manner of crisis.

God gave us this name because He knew that we would face all manner of situations in our lifetime.

I don't know what you are going through today, but if it has a name, it will surrender at the mention of the performing name of Jesus.
