BEFORE YOU STEP OUT TODAY, 10TH SEPTEMBER, 2021

TOPIC : PRAY AGAIN

TEXT   MATTHEW 7:7-11

[7]Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

[8]For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

[9]Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

[10]Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

[11]If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Jesus introduced God the first time to us as Father.

Abba, means a loving father.

Our father expects us to ask and gives us our requests when we ask.

He wants us to always expect answers when we pray.

If you are yet to receive your answers, pray again.

God bless you.

With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

Your case is not bigger than God.

May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Your Victory is already guaranteed

It is well, do not give up, with God all things  are possible

(Please be a blessing to seven persons by sending to them our devotionals)

TEXT  LUKE 18 : 1-8

[1]ALSO [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up).

[2]He said, In a certain city there was a judge who neither reverenced and feared God nor respected or considered man.

[3]And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, Protect and defend and give me justice against my adversary.

[4]And for a time he would not; but later he said to himself, Though I have neither reverence or fear for God nor respect or consideration for man,

[5]Yet because this widow continues to bother me, I will defend and protect and avenge her, lest she give me intolerable annoyance and wear me out by her continual coming or at the last she come and rail on me or assault me or strangle me.

[6]Then the Lord said, Listen to what the unjust judge says!

[7]And will not [our just] God defend and protect and avenge His elect (His chosen ones), who cry to Him day and night? Will He defer them and delay help on their behalf?

[8]I tell you, He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [persistence in] faith on the earth?

Beloved, there is power in persistence.

The woman in this story was not ready to give up.

When you have a petition, refuse to give up until you receive  your desired answer.

God is not far from you, He is very near.

God bless you.

With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

Your case is not bigger than God.

May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

TOPIC : PRAY AGAIN TEXT 1 JOHN 5:14-15 [14]And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: [15]And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. God hears us according to the scripture we just read. We know that He is too kind to hear us and not answer us. If you prayed before and you have not received your petition, pray again. We have a big confidence that He will answer our prayers. God bless you. With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible. Your case is not bigger than God. TOPIC : PRAY AGAIN

TEXT  : 2 KINGS 20:5-6, 10-12

[5]And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD, before the new court,

[6]And said, O LORD God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?

[10]And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not;

[11]Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit.

[12]O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.

Beloved, Jehoshaphat was faced with a near impossible situation.

He was surrounded by his enemies.

He knew that by his military resources, he stood no chance of victory.

Then he prayed again.

When he did, the voice of God gave them direction.

You may need to pray again over those issues of concern.

God bless you.

With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

Your case is not bigger than God.

May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

TEXT :  MATTHEW 18:18-20

[18]Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

[19]Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

[20]For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Beloved, your declarations govern the affairs of men and spirits on this earth.

The whole creation await your commands on all issues.

You are the witness and commander in your family and neighborhood.

TEXT  2 KINGS : 25-26,29-36

[25]So she went and came unto the man of God to mount Carmel. And it came to pass, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite:

[26]Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well.

[29]Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not; and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff upon the face of the child.

[30]And the mother of the child said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.

[31]And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the staff upon the face of the child; but there was neither voice, nor hearing. Wherefore he went again to meet him, and told him, saying, The child is not awaked.

[32]And when Elisha was come into the house, behold, the child was dead, and laid upon his bed.

[33]He went in therefore, and shut the door upon them twain, and prayed unto the LORD.

[34]And he went up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands: and he stretched himself upon the child; and the flesh of the child waxed warm.

[35]Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.

*[36]And he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite. So he called her. And when she was come in unto him, he said, Take up thy son.

Gehazi's prayer did not raise the boy neither did the first prayer of Prophet Elisha raise him, but Elisha prayed again.

When in need, pray without ceasing.

God bless you.

With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

Your case is not bigger than God.

TOPIC : PRAY AGAIN

TEXT  ISAIAH 38:1-6

[1]In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.

[2]Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,

[3]And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

[4]Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying,

[5]Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

[6]And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.

King Hezekiah was faced with a double Jeopardy.

His health was failing and his kingdom was facing a sure defeat.

The greatest prophet in the Land gave him a word from God, "put your house in order for you shall not survive from this sickness"

He had prayed before but he had to pray again.

This time God ordered His major prophet Isaiah to return, swallow his words and tell him, "this says the Lord of hosts, both you and your kingdom shall recover from this".

Prayer is a dive into God's presence.

Prayer turns you into a spiritual being, transversing both time and space and compressing at will.

If you have prayed without results, pray again.

God bless you.

With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

Your case is not bigger than God.

May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Your Victory is already guaranteed

It is well, do not give up, with God all things  are possible
