TOPIC : THE PRINCIPLES OF HONOUR

TEXT: ISAIAH 29:13-14

[13]And the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips but remove their hearts and minds far from Me, and their fear and reverence for Me are a commandment of men that is learned by repetition [without any thought as to the meaning],

[14]Therefore, behold! I will again do marvelous things with this people, marvelous and astonishing things; and the wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the understanding of their discerning men will vanish or be hidden.

Beloved be very careful while dealing with our deity.

Never come to God with deception, remember that He is the all knowing God.

The Lord said that they position their lips to impress but their hearts are very far away.

How many times have people at the receipt of a miracle rushed to the altar with excitement declaring "I can never leave this church.

That is because tribulation has not come, they will with the same mouth declare that they were in the wrong assembly because of an unverified gossip.

Are you sowing or are you reaping.

Ensure that you will enjoy your harvest when it is served.

Don't mind men, everyone is sowing, just be mindful of what you are sowing.

They sowed deceit and reaped failure.

TEXT: ROMANS 1:21

[21]Because when they knew and recognized Him as God, they did not honor and glorify Him as God or give Him thanks. But instead they became futile and godless in their thinking [with vain imaginings, foolish reasoning, and stupid speculations] and their senseless minds were darkened.

Beloved, just as honour responds to seedtime, dishonour also does.

Dishonour means disregard, it means to look down on something.

The scripture we read declared that they knew He was God but deliberately refused to honour Him, in return they received a harvest of a destroyed mind.

As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is.

With a destroyed mind they reaped a harvest of destruction.

Jesus could not do mighty works in His home town, because they trivialized Him.   He wanted to but could not because of their unbelief.

Beloved begin to deal with every issue of dishonor in your life in Jesus mighty name.

TEXT: GENESIS 8:21-22

[21]When the Lord smelled the pleasing odor [a scent of satisfaction to His heart], the Lord said to Himself, I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the imagination (the strong desire) of man's heart is evil and wicked from his youth; neither will I ever again smite and destroy every living thing, as I have done.

[22]While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

HONOUR IS THE SEED FOR ACCESS.

We grew up in church hearing seed time, harvest time.

So we thought that when we sow on Sunday, we harvest on Monday or at worst by Saturday.

We were not thought that harvest times are tough times.

In Africa, our planting season starts around April and harvests are expected in August.

Within this period, you keep sowing, weeding and watering.

Usually, there is nothing to harvest.

The process of sowing the seed of honour is not cheap.

Sometimes you look foolish.

Other times you look as if you are being used, but it is in this being used that the honoured will give you a lifting hand to your next level.

The bible in Proverbs 18:16 said that,

"A man's gift makes room for him and brings him before great men."

Keep on serving, soon you will be the one to be served.

TEXT 1 SAMUEL 2:27-30

[27]And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh's house?

[28]And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel?

[29]Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?

[30]Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

What is honour?

Honour means regard with high esteem.

It means discerning that something or someone is of certain level of value and according that person with reverence.

Honour is a seed whose harvest is a master key that opens every door no matter who closed it.

Honour is a ladder that moves you to the next level irrespective of the barriers installed.

Because honour is a seed, it also responds to the law of harvest as was revealed in Genesis 8v22.

"While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease"

The Lord declared that He was willing to honour Eli until Eli's family began to despise Him.

Beloved, whatever you dishonour diminishes in your life.

I pray that God will reinstate us by the reason of this light in the name of Jesus.

TOPIC : THE REWARDS OF KINGDOM SERVICE

TEXT PSALMS 92:12-15

[12]The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

[13]Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

[14]They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

[15]To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

Abraham believed God, acted according to the directives of God, it was accounted unto him as righteousness.

Righteousness means right standing with God.

The trees that are planted are the ones permitted to flourish.

If you keep uprooting a tree and replanting, it does not have a chance of flourishing.

It is only in God's house that I find trees that deliberately uproot themselves yet convincing themselves that they will still flourish.

But concerning those who continue to serve, there is a reward system.

The scripture said that they shall still bring forth fruit at old age.

TOPIC : THE REWARDS OF KINGDOM SERVICE

TEXT PSALM 91:14-16

[14]Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

[15]He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

[16]With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Dedicated kingdom service is equivalent to taking a kingdom insurance policy.

When you come into God's workforce, He takes it upon Himself to protect you.

Any attack on you becomes an attack on the kingdom of God and attracts instant counter attack from Heaven.

Your protection becomes divinity's priority.

This is because your vision aligns with the kingdoms' plan.

Your defeat at this point becomes an impossibility since Heaven has never lost a battle before. 

Rejoice exceedingly because your harvest is in view.

TEXT  PSALM 94:13-15

[13]That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

[14]For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

[15]But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

Beloved, when God illuminated these scriptures in my spirit I became excited.

I feel extremely loaded.

Friend, God will surely give you rest from all your adversity.

God said that He will not cast off His people and will never forsake His own inheritance.

Beloved, you are God's inheritance.

Weeping may endure for the night but Jehovah Shammah will surely return for the righteous.
