TOPIC : THE PREVAILING POWER IN THE WORD

TEXT :  JEREMIAH 15 : 16

16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

When last did you eat God's word?

God's word is food for the spirit.

The same way we feed our young ones in other to develop physical muscles, that same way we need to feed our spirit man with the word of God so it can develop spiritual muscles.

If our spirits remain malnourished, they will not be able to fight the many battles of this world.

It is our faith that overcomes all the battles of this world.

But even this faith is the result of a highly nourished spirit man.

The bible said in the book of Romans 10 : 17 that faith comes by hearing the word of God.

The more you feed, the stronger you become.

I pray that this season, you will clean off the dust that has covered your bible and turn that book into a book of wonders.

TEXT :  1 CORINTHIANS 1: 18-19

18 the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

The word of God is the power of God.

Inside the seed of the word is the power of God hidden.

Those who are not born of the word think that this is really foolish.

But in the book of Hebrews  4 : 2-3,

the bible says;

2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

May the word profit you as you start to mix and mingle it with your faith in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

TEXT :  2 PETER 1 :  23

23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

We are begotten of the word of God.

By this I mean that we are the direct products of God's word.

The believer is the product of an incorruptible specie.

He is the product of a pure breed.

Horse racers know that there are special breeds that you don't have to train rigorously to win races.

They come from a generation of modified genetics of winners.

We are those ones that the word has produced immortality inside of our spirits.

We have triumphed.

We have subdued the forces of this world.

We are not bindable yet we bind all things.

I pray for you that as you enter this new week, you will put the word into action for instant results in the name of Jesus Christ.

TEXT :  ROMANS 1  :  16

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The word of the gospel is the power of God unto salvation.

Salvation is the Greek word soteria which means everything that is good.

Holy Spirit is saying here that the gospel wii fetch for you everything that is good if only you believe.

This includes wealth, peace, joy, good husband, good wife, godly children etc.

Whatever you need for a peaceful and joyous life on earth can be purchased at the instance of the word.

The scripture said in the book of Acts 20 verse 32,

32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

You see, the word of God is able to purchase for you an inheritance and give you complete rest.

8 The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.

God's word comes with light like I'm the case of apostle Paul on his way to Jerusalem to arrest the followers of Christ or,

When God spoke to Jeremiah in the book of Jeremiah 23 : 29, 

29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

God's word comes with great power that nothing can resist it.

It can breakdown generational strongholds and traditional iron bars.

It heals both the body and the broken hearted.

It comforts those in mourning and those who have lost loved ones and things.

I pray that you discover your word in due time in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord 🙏.

TEXT :  GENESIS 1  : 1 - 4

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

The word of God prevails in all situations and at all times.

The God of heaven and the commander of the army of the universe had built a masive estate, the largest ever built.

When He was done, He discovered that the whole estate was formless and in thick darkness.

God started recreating by the use of words.

He first permitted the Holy spirit to hover over the earth and saturate the mess that earth was.

God said, let their be light and as soon as He said it, He saw that the light was good.

As a child of God, you can reproduce your Daddy's results.

John  1 : 12 says,

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

As a son, God expects you to imitate Him.

Use WORDS like He does and you will receive results like He receives in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

TOPIC : THE PREVAILING POWER IN THE WORD

TEXT :  ISAIAH 40 : 8

8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God endures forever.

The grass withers because it receives it's sustainance from natural sources.

The flower fadeth because it depends on natural nutrients for survival but the word of God endures forever.

The word is not of this earth.

It is from above. 

It is from a dimension that is far above in essence, reality and reliability.

The Bible says in the book of Matthew  24 verse 35 that,

"35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away".

This means that the God of Heaven has implicated Himself with His words.

Therefore whatever you find in the scriptures spoken by God is a sure promise.

It's integrity is surer than the breaking of the day.

If you hear God say that He Himself took away your sicknesses, if you receive it into your heart, your body will not be able to accommodate sicknesses anymore.

I decree that wherever this devotional finds you today that it will connect you to your own sure word in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
