TEXT GALATIANS 3:13-14 

TOPIC : THE GRAVE IS EMPTY AND THE DEBT FULLY PAID

[13]Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

[14]That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Dearly beloved, when Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

The Greek word for it is finished is the word "tetelestai".

Tetelestai is used as a business term which means that the debt is fully paid.

It is also used in the courts as a term in judgement meaning that the sentence has been fully served.

Tetelestai is also used as a military term and it means that the battle has been fully won.

Dearly beloved, when Jesus said "it is finished" on that cross, He meant that:-

1. Your debt of sin is fully paid.

2 . The sentence for punishment for what you deserved and your time of being in bondage is fully served. Finally,

3 . Your battle against Satan, sin, sicknesses and diseases and all your enemies have been fully won.

If you understand this, you will move around with your shoulders high.

Child of God, you are more than a conqueror because the cross purchased the trophy for you.

TEXT 2 CORINTHIANS 5:15-18 

TOPIC : THE GRAVE WAS TRULY EMPTY

[15]And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

[16]Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

[17]Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

[18]And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

The greatest day for every believer is the day our Lord resurrected from death and left an empty grave for the doubters to continue to contend with.

We have a living hope because Jesus resurrected, if He had been consumed by the grave, our faith would have been fairy tales like all other religions.

In all religions on the earth, men are designing and strategising how to reach their gods.

In Christianity, God came down to locate man.

Jesus the son of God became the son of man in order to make us the sons of God.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: behold all things are become new.

And all things are of God who harth reconciled, us to himself by Jesus Christ.

Resurrection and ascension translated us to seat with Christ in a level that is far above all principalities and powers.

What are the implications of this, it means that you have become one who is like Jesus.

Hear what Jesus said to Mary in John 20:16-17,

"Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God."

He said go to my brethren, and He refereed to His father as theirs also and His God as their God.

We are now the brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ.

My celebration of Easter is borne out of this revelation.

TEXT JOHN 19:39-42 

TOPIC : THE GRAVE WAS TRULY EMPTY

[39]And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.

[40]Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.

[41]Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid.

[42]There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.

Nicodemus who came by night to see Jesus and received a life-changing message, appeared at this very threatening period.

He came with about a hundred pounds weight of aloes and myrrh.

It was very critical for the preparation of the Lord's body for burial.

At this time most of the disciples were scattered and were in a very hopeless state.

Their hope and future was gone they all thought.

Some were doubted that he would resurrect.

It was a period of very heavy anxiety, but God kept some men for this very crucial role.

When the story of this present move of God is written, will there be a line or a sentence written about your exploits for the Lord. 

Will you be remembered for risking your life for the gospel or will it be anathema maranatha?

God forbid.

TEXT 1 CORINTHIANS 2:5-8

TOPIC : THE CREATIVE FORCE OF TRUST

[5]That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

[6]Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

[7]But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

[8]Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Your enemies are not omniscience.

They are not in your future.

Every believer's future is in the hand of God.

The bible declares in the book of 1 Corinthians 2:9, 

"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

Satan and his cohorts may pretend that they know but they are only blind pretenders.

Holy Spirit asked a rhetorical question in 1 Corinthians 2:8 "Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory".

Very many believer's live their lives as if Satan has them in his palm.

They live a joyless painful life, a life of fear of the devil and his next successful exploit in their lives.

Shout it loud and Clear, I serve a big God.

I serve a powerful God, He is more than able to protect me.

If he knew the future, he would not have pushed Jesus to the cross.

One Jesus was a big trouble for him, now there are millions of Jesus's.

Beloved concerning you, the Lord said in 

Romans 8:28,

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Dearly beloved, the above is the constant picture of your future, it is well with you.

TEXT ACTS 7:54- 57 

TOPIC : THE CREATIVE FORCE OF TRUST

[54]When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

[55]But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

[56]And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

[57]Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

I heard the story of this christian family that was martyred as told by pastor Youngi Cho.

This happened at a time when is was a crime punishable by death to be caught practicing our faith.

Christianity was practiced underground.

On the day they planned to execute them, they dug their grave, one single big grave and gave the man another opportunity to recant and save his family.

At that very moment, the two children screamed and wept aloud, asking their daddy not to let them die.

The man was about recanting his faith when the wife grabbed him and said to him, "Honey this night, we will be having super with Jesus".

They were singing a hymn as the bullets rained on them.

The crowd who came to watch could not believe their eyes.

That same day, more people gave their lives to Christ than in their life time.

Galatians 2:20

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me"(Galatians 2:20).

The greatest honour any life on earth will attract is that it was wasted on the master.

A life not wasted like the alabaster on Jesus is a wasted life.

As the Easter approaches, decide that you will present the master with a gift, your soul for His punctured and bleeding heart.

TEXT MATTHEW 18:18-20

TOPIC : THE CREATIVE FORCE OF TRUST

[18]Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

[19]Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

[20]For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Have you ever meditated on these scriptures?

If you have, you would be amazed at the amount of power that is wrapped in them.

This scripture is power packed.

God is literally saying that you can have it exactly how you want it.

What this means is that it is illegal for that sickness to remain on you, ravaging your body.

It means that you have power over your life to end that illegal occupation of your life by that evil spirit of heaviness.

There are many believers who have not enjoyed a peaceful night rest for years because some allien spirits refuse to let them rest, desecrating their bodies.

Beloved, you can take ownership of this scripture and free yourself from this rampaging devil.

My daily experience with my Lord constantly proves to me that He is not only alive but that He lives in me.

He hears my audible and inaudible prayers.

He has never failed me, He is complete in me.

Does it not make sense to try Him?
