TOPIC : THE POWER OF CHARACTER
TEXT PSALMS 105 : 17 - 19
[17]He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
[18]Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
[19]Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.
Character is the totality of the traits and features that form the nature of an individual.
Your character determines how you see and react to realities.
You form your habits, your habits form your character and your character determines the outcome of your life, not God.
Joseph was a man who went through very terrible, humiliating and painful experiences but because of an already developed character refused to let this temporal experiences determine the outcome of his life.
He had developed so much strength in integrity that he refused to let the opportunity of fake freedom created by Potiphar's destroy his destiny.
He was alone in the house with Potiphar's wife when she offered herself free of charge to him but he refused.
His already developed character made him say no.
How many terrible things are you saying no to in today's iniquitous generation?
Jehovah is called the Ancient of days. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.
Your case is not bigger than God.
May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
