2 Kings 20:1-5

[1]In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

[2]Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,

[3]I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

[4]And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,

[5]Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

Our God is a healer.

His name is Jehovah Rapha, this means the Lord that healeth me.

Rapha is not a nickname, God earned it by healing His people in the millions.

I do not know what you are going through with your health?

Beloved, if your God is Jehovah Adonai then get ready for a miracle.

[2]And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.

[3]Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.

[4]And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.

[5]So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.

[6]And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

[7]Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.

The widow declared that the husband served the Lord diligently and upon the platform of service, she made a demand of the Lord.

As a Hebrew, she knows that the righteous shall not be forsaken and their children would not beg bread.

She had her demand delivered to her.

She was audacious with her faith.

He could not undress in the public, he suffered from a condition that would soon put him into isolation.

[21]And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.

[22]So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake.

They faced a barren condition but they have a fruitful God.

The challenges you face today shall crumble in Jesus mighty name.

[4]So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.

[5]But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.

[6]And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.

[7]Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.

These men lost a construction equipment of great value.

The unfortunate thing was that they borrowed the axe head.

Have you lost something that is very very dear to you?

[4]Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

[5]And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

[6]And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

[7]And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

Peter had done his best based on his deep knowledge of fishing, but that day all his efforts failed.

When he gave his boat to the Lord, his financial miracle started.

All the fish in the water started looking for Peter's net to take their nap in.

I don't know what you are facing in your finances, but I do know that Jesus will give you a bumper harvest this season in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

[34]And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.

[36]And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

[37]And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.

Jesus asked them, what do you have?

And they told Him that even if  what they add a months wages to what they had, it still won't be enough.

If that's how you think, then you do not yet know Jesus.

It's not the size of what you have but on whose hand is it placed.

When it's placed in the had of Jesus, it can only keep multiplying exceedingly.

[27]Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

The ministry of Jesus was about to be mocked.

The tax people came to embarrass Jesus and His team.

Jesus rescued them by a mystery.

Jesus commanded peter to go to the sea and throw in water.

That the first fish it catches, he should open it's belly and collect the coin inside and go pay their taxes.

Have you ever gone through a situation where your faith seem to have been drained?

This man said that the son had been in this condition since he was a child.

The disciples of Jesus were not the first people he took his son for healing.

He would have tried all the reputable Doctors before seeking for a miracle.

Have you ever watched your Baby suffer and you are unable to help?

That was this man's predicament at this point.

He obviously once had faith but day by day as they go from one place to the other seeking for help but finding none, his hope kept  draining off.

He answered Jesus by declaring that his faith was being depreciated by unbelieve.

Are you going through a similar condition?

The friends of Jesus cried out to Jesus asking Him if He did care that they were dying in this accident.

The scripture said that with the temptation, God will make a way of escape for you.

God is saying that inside of every situation devil has pust you into, there is always a window opened for your escape.

1 Corinthians 10:13(AMP)

[13]For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently.

God is faithful, He has already prepared your way of escape out the temptation.

You cannot be trapped.

[8]But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.

[9]Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,

[10]And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

[11]And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

Paul had gone to share the gospel with a certain leader but Elymas  the Sorcerer was with him disputing the good news.

Elymas would have succeeded if not that Paul reacted by placing an instant curse of blindness on him.

He became blind instantly and all that were there believed.

I declare over your life, all your mockers will fall for your sake in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC : THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS OF GOD

TEXT :  ACTS 20 : 9-12

[9]And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.

[10]And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.

[11]When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.

[12]And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.

Paul was preaching in a place and Eutychus was by the window sleeping.

It was not normal.

That sleep was an arrow against the testimony of the young church.

Satanic forces were at work.

Using sleep to push down to his death was to silence the emerging good news of the kingdom finally.

Apostle Paul confronted death and silenced the mocking demons.

What is it that is stealing your testimony, I declare it silenced today.

If you believe it type an Amen like thunder.

[4]And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

[5]And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.

[6]Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.

If Paul had died from the snake bite, the testimony of the good news would have failed.

When they saw that he survived the snake bite, they said that he was a god.

I declare over your life,

God made these pronouncement in timeless eternity since He does not live within the ambit of time.

Abraham needs his own faith in order to bring the promise of a son to physical manifestation.

The Bible said that we should fight the good fight of faith.

The fight of faith is the fight to bring promises to physical reality.

I pray that even you will begin today to war your own war of faith.

Paul speaking to Timothy in 1 Timothy 4:14-16 said:-

[14]Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

[15]Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

[19]For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God's sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].

In the Book of Acts 3 verse 1-7, Peter and John went up to the Temple to pray.

At the gate of the beautiful temple was the urgly site of a cripple whose presence was an embarrassment to the covenant of healing that is in Christ Jesus.

His presence made it look as if the gospel was a lie, as if the blood of our redemption failed.

Peter angrily redeemed the image of our redemption by declaring immediate healing upon the man's limbs.

Beloved, their may be such urgly issues hiding in your lives, making you shed tears through the night.

The whole of creation is waiting for you to end their endless suffering and pains because you are a child of God.

Those who carry the DNA of God are solution providers who wipe away the tears of many.

Beloved pray that you will rise with your rod and smite every issues occasioning shame in your life in Jesus mighty name.

[28]He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

A DEVELOPED CHARACTER IS LIKE AN ORNAMENT

A bad character is very easy to form but very difficult to abandon.

The greatest spirit between you and your great destiny is a smelly character.

Once upon a time in the rusty town of Enugu, there was this young man who got a visa to travel to London.

In those days families toil and raise money for one of theirs' to travel abroad.

This was a sure ticket to success both for the one travelling and the rest of the family.

Usually a grand send off party was organized for the lucky one.

This brother who was traveling had a bad habit of smoking Indian hemp.

On the night of his send off party, he smoked so much that he forgot a rap of Indian hemp in his trousers.

Early the next morning, he was driven to the airport.

At the immigration check, a security dog started to back at him

When he was searched, they discovered and unfinished rap of marijuana.

Some relations were still celebrating in their house when he practically limped into the parlour to share the story of his failure.

This shall not be your portion in Jesus mighty name.

Today, pray that God will remold your weak character for the journey of integrity,

God bless you.

[4]And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul's robe privily.

[5]And it came to pass afterward, that David's heart smote him, because he had cut off Saul's skirt.

[6]And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD'S anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD.

DAVID, A MAN OF GREAT INTEGRITY

David had a rear opportunity to fastrack himself to the throne but he understood that it was a satanic set up to rub him of the throne.

God was testing him on the sin of lust for power 

Passed all his tests and God said that this was a man after my own heart ❤️.

What are your proclivities?

TEXT  1 SAMUEL 12 : 3-5

[3]Behold, here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you.

[4]And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou taken ought of any man's hand.

[5]And he said unto them, The LORD is witness against you, and his anointed is witness this day, that ye have not found ought in my hand. And they answered, He is witness.

Samuel was the first Judge in Israel while Samson was the last.

Samson ended up as a warning to generations unborn while Samuel ended his ministry with the words of the scriptures quoted above.

Samson was raised by a mother who was warned ahead of time how to raise a priest while Samuel grew up in the home of Eli, an old priest with two highly corrupt and debucharized sons.

But Samuel chose to stick to the harder rights instead of the easier wrong.

When he asked those questions, no one challenged his testimony.

Beloved, what does your testimony look like?

[5]For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.

SAMSON WAS A MAN OF GREAT STRENGTH BUT WITH A WEAK CHARACTER.

Samson was the last judge of Israel.

An angel came to predict his birth like that of our Lord Jesus Christ.

His mother was warned about the things was to avoid because he was going to be a Nazarite.

He was a person separated and dedicated to God but his weak character destroyed him.

His life ended up as a warning to the future generations.

No mother, wants a Samson.

He brought only pains and failed to fulfill his destiny.

[17]He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:

[18]Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:

[19]Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.

Character is the totality of the traits and features that form the nature of an individual.

Your character determines how you see and react to realities.

You form your habits, your habits form your character and your character determines the outcome of your life, not God.

Joseph was a man who went through very terrible, humiliating and painful experiences but because of an already developed character refused to let this temporal experiences determine the outcome of his life.

He had developed so much strength in  integrity that he refused to let the opportunity of fake freedom created by Potiphar's destroy his destiny.

He was alone in the house with Potiphar's wife when she offered herself free of charge to him but he refused.

His already developed character made him say no.

How many terrible things are you saying no to in today's iniquitous generation?

Jehovah is called the Ancient of days. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
