TEXT  MATTHEW 28 : 18 -19

Jesus told us the story of Lazarus and the rich fool in the book of (Luke 16:19,22-29)

[19]There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

[22]And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

[23]And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

[24]And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

[25]But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

[26]And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

[27]Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

[28]For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

[29]Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

This story remains scary to me. I would not want anyone that I know end like the rich man.

It would hunt me whenever I realize that my preaching was have made a difference in the final destination of any man yet I did nothing to help him.

Beloved remember that you have been empowered to preach all your relations out of hell fire in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Each time I drive, I never cease to marvel  at the power and authority of the lowest ranked traffic police officer.

He/she is usually not armed, but as soon she stretches out her hand, all vehicles including trucks stop.

All drivers recognize that they operate with the the backing of the powers of the Federal republic.

Disobeying them is being ready  to face the forces of the Federal republic.

What they have is called delegated authority.

Jesus delegated all the powers in this universe to you.

The reason for your tears is because of your ignorance.

Rise up today in the wisdom and light of who you are and weld your rod against every contrary force opposing your reigning in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

[9]For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

[10]When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

This centurion demonstrated his understanding of the electricity of the word of God.

He also had the type of revelation of the Messiah that Peter had.

He knew exactly who Jesus was.

He understood the dynamics of powers.

He was a great man of faith.

I see you reacting in faith like the centurion in Jesus mighty name.

[24]He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.

[25]But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.

[26]And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.

Jairus was a leader whose daughter was sick and he called on Jesus to heal her.

Unfortunately while Jesus was on his way,  his daughter died.

He would have thought that it was late, but with our Lord, it is never late.

I don't know where you are ailing, but I pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ.

May every chain of sickness in your life be broken in the name of Jesus Christ.

Jesus had compassion when He saw the condition of this paralytic.

Against the religious culture of that era, Jesus healed him.

I might not know the health condition you are facing, but my God has a positive  answer for you.

[13]And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

[14]For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.

[15]And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.

[16]And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.

Our God is the great provider.

She took the last meal of a poor woman and returned to her endless provisions.

Beloved, you are not enjoying your last provisions.

[2]And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.

[3]Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.

[4]And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.

[5]So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.

[6]And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

[7]Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.

This widow was faced with a dare financial need.

She knew that only the supernatural could save her from the impending disaster so she sort for the man of God.

I do not know the type of crisis you are facing, why not talk to God , He will figure it out for you.

[26]Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.

[27]Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

Jesus saw the challenge and the embarrassment that a financial lack could bring to the ministry.

He therefore told Peter to go to the river and get a fish that had a coin in it's belly.

God knows the very fish that has you money in it's belly.

Beloved, stop crying, God is nearer than you ever imagine.

That situation will never embarrass you in the name of Jesus.

The Lord told the children of Israel to gather what they needed for the sixth and seventh days and on the seventh day, gather nothing.

God was teaching them how depend of him in all things.

[17]Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

[18]And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

When Christ died, we all died in Him and when He resurrected, we all resurrected in Him.

The good news is that whosoever decides to believe in Him is given a new life that immediately makes him a new person that never existed before.

This is God's power creating new realities in these persons.

He becomes a new creation of God that never existed before.

This new man is as Christ is.

He is indomitable, indefatigable and indestructible.

You belong to this new breed of men hallelujah.

You can not be defeated in the mighty name of Jesus.

Many of God's children interpret going to church as a necessary ritual.

These brethren forget that when two or three gather in His name that Jesus is right there in their midst.

God so much value the gathering together of His people that He declared in our key scripture for today that we should not avoid the coming together of His children.

God has no value for those who have no value for His presence.

God has no time for those who have no time for Him.

God has no future for those who can not see a future in Him.

Create a value system for God and you will see the best of Him.

[18]No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Jesus was not a martyr,  Jesus was a living sacrifice.

He was not compelled by anyone to lay down His life, He did that because it would bring pleasure to the father.

Jesus death was the result of legendary obedience.

At Gethsemane Jesus asked His father three times to let His death be taken away but that He was ready and willing to lay down His life if it was the father's will.

How do you handle God's matters.

Do you handle it carelessly?

Jesus was serious with the father's business from beginning to the end.

TOPIC : JESUS DIED THAT I MAY LIVE

TEXT : JOHN 10 : 15, 17-18

[15]As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

[17]Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

[18]No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

I deserved to die because the first Adam received death and passed it on to me by default.

But the second Adam who is life Himself died and bestowed on me eternal life that I did not deserve.

Why not celebrate Him for this undeserved free gift.

TOPIC : JUDAS THE BAD LOSER

TEXT : LUKE 23 : 33-34

[33]And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

[34]Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Peter betrayed Jesus, he repented and returned to his duty post.

Judas betrayed his Master also but did not give himself an opportunity of repentance.

He isolated himself from the team, committed suicide and forever lost the opportunity to receive the Lord's forgiveness.

The betrayal and the brutal killing of Jesus was gruesome, but the size of the forgiveness was massive.

When Jesus asked His father to forgive His traducers, He knew that God  would answer Him.

Judas missed a life time opportunity to receive God's mercy.

Make haste and make peace with God today.

Time is short.

TOPIC : JUDAS THE BAD LOSER

TEXT : PSALMS 41 : 8 - 10

[8]An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.

[9]Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.

[10]But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.

Matthew 26:21,24

[21]And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

[24]The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.

Judas was not destined to betray Jesus.

There were many prophesies declaring that Satan would use someone close to Jesus to betray Him but Judas's name was not mentioned.

Satan found in Judas a very useful material because he was never really with Jesus.

He had his personal ambitions.

He was using the ministry of Jesus for pecuniary gains.

There are still many Judas's in the ministry of our Lord today whose only interest is their belly like Balam.

They are the modern day brothers of Gehazi, they are also losers like Judas.

Today as we still remember the resurrection of Jesus, Judas, repent , time is running out.

Happy Easter.

[1]And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.

[2]And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

[3]And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.

Did I not tell you that it will end up in your favor?

While Paul gathered sticks to keep himself warn, a viper entered into the sticks unnoticed.

Many wrong people may have entered into your destiny, but the present fire will smoke them out in the name of Jesus Christ.

I decree, their evil enterprise will backfire this month in the name of Jesus.

[2]And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

[5]But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb.

[6]And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.

[9]So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD.

[11]And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

Peninnah was quick to conclude on the outcome of Hannah's destiny.

What she did not know was that God was just about starting where man has given up.

Hahahahaha, I just laughed at those who had concluded that you will amount to nothing in this world.

Shame is their harvest in the mighty name of Jesus Amen.
