TOPIC : JESUS DIED THAT I MAY LIVE
TEXT : JOHN 10 17-18
[17]Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
[18]No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
Jesus was not a martyr, Jesus was a living sacrifice.
He was not compelled by anyone to lay down His life, He did that because it would bring pleasure to the father.
Jesus death was the result of legendary obedience.
At Gethsemane Jesus asked His father three times to let His death be taken away but that He was ready and willing to lay down His life if it was the father's will.
How do you handle God's matters.
Do you handle it carelessly?
Jesus was serious with the father's business from beginning to the end.
God bless you.
With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.
