TOPIC : A CHRISTIANITY WITHOUT THE CROSS
TEXT 1 PETER 4 :12-15
[12]Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
[13]But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
[14]If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
[15]But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
Many of God's children surprise me by the shock they exhibit when they go through trials.
Many have wailed and asked "why me".
Beloved, believers are not strangers to trials and tribulations.
Of a truth, all the giants of our faith are men are women who were birthed in trials.
None of our heroes of faith was destroyed by the fiery furnace of suffering and pain but very many were felled by the arrows of pleasure.
The bible says that we should not be shocked when faced with trials rather we should rejoice because the spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.
Another reason why you must remain calm is because if you are a God lover, there is a law that was enacted before you were born that decreed that all things must work together for your good.
Beloved, I see all things turning around for your good.
God bless you.
With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.
Your case is not bigger than God.
