TEXT:ACTS 9:32-35

[32]Now as Peter went here and there among them all, he went down also to the saints who lived at Lydda.

[33]There he found a man named Aeneas, who had been bedfast for eight years and was paralyzed.

[34]And Peter said to him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ (the Messiah) [now] makes you whole. Get up and make your bed! And immediately [Aeneas] stood up.

[35]Then all the inhabitants of Lydda and the plain of Sharon saw [what had happened to] him and they turned to the Lord.

Beloved, there is something remarkable about this miracle.

Did you notice that peter didn't pray.

He didn't even command, he only declared his expectation.

He Just said Aaneas, Jesus Christ makes you whole, now get up, take your bed and he immediately stood up.

This was the same man that denied Jesus, what did he stumble on that made him this audacious?

He had an encounter with the Holy Spirit and a new personality walked into to dwell inside of him.

This new person lives in everyone that has received the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, all you need is inside of you.

Rise up with faith and fearlessly declare what you want to see and you will have it.

[11]And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.

There are miracles that make people refer to you as a God, but never accept that type of honor.

Give it all to God, no one will share in His glory.

The bible said that the man was crippled from birth.

He had never walked in his life.

He had watched people and imagined what it would feel like to walk.

The bible said that he had faith to be healed.

As you prepare for church today, do you faith that God will deal with that issue that has made you shed tears.

Do you have faith that God will settle those issues that are almost tilting into shame.

If you have faith, you will return with testimony today in Jesus mighty name.

[49]And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.

[50]And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.

[51]And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.

[52]And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Beloved, archbishop Benson Idahosah had a crusade in Kenya in 1973.

It was a harvest of miracles.

Many blind people were healed, but there was a woman who brought her son who had no eyes.

It was not that he was blind, but that there were no eye sockets for the eye ball.

The insistent mother kept telling Mama Idahosah to tell her husband to give her child eyes.

Nothing happened until the last day.

She had come very early, got a seat in a vantage position from where she kept gesticulating to the archbishop to give her son eyes. 

Bishop told her that he had never healed anyone without eyeball. The woman responded that the God that opens blind eye can also give new eye balls.

Bishop had never seen a case like this one.

Not wanting the woman to embarrass him when he would be leaving, he decided that he would tell everyone to close their eyes, raise a song, and while they would be at it, he would escape.

So he had done all these and was about escaping when had the woman screaming, " he can see".

Then he stopped to see, lo and behold the boy had new eyeballs and could see.

Glory be to God, it is God's power that brings the healing.

[12]Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.

[13]And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

Beloved, you are a vessel that is full of God.

Inside of you is loaded with limitless possibilities.

You can do all things, whatsoever you desire.

Whatever you imagine in God is very possible.

The things Joshua did are still possible today.

You can reproduce greater things and God will always honour your faith.

Start declaring what you must have today.

[6]In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Beloved, our God can be trusted at all times.

Even in the times of loses, He can still be trusted.

Every morning I charge Angels to watch over all our church members.

These Angels are real and they are ministering spirits sent to help God's children.

They however work only when we command them to.

A few days ago, one of my sons had an urgent delivery to make.

He loaded his goods in a tricycle at Ojuelegba motor park, a spot noted to be the most notorious location in Lagos.

In the haste to load his goods, his laptop bag fell off without him noticing.

He had gotten to Jibowu pack, a distance of about five kilometers before discovering that his laptop, his most precious possession for his business was not there.

He took a motorcycle taxi back to Ojuelegba motor park. 

When he got there, a man who looked like a lunatic was there waiting with his bag.

He said to him "I know you will come back".

My son obviously encountered an Angel of my commission.

All through this new week, there shall be no loss in the name of Jesus Christ.

About five years ago, on of our sisters fell sick.

She was rushed to the General hospital Randle at Lagos.

I and my wife rushed to the hospital to see her.

We got to the hospital around 7.30 pm and met another church member with the lady's husband.

At around 9 pm the oxygen stopped working and she died.

The hospital staff did all they could but everything failed.

They were about moving her to the morgue but the husband refused and kept screaming " pastor will you be here and my wife die".

I raised a worship song unto the Lord, by the time I raised the second song, she got up. 

Jesus brought her back from the dead. All the people joined us as we continued praising the Lord.

You too can operate in such power if you believe.

There are men who carry God in this world.

There are men who do strange things that will shock ordinary men, but to then it's their normal Christian live.

Some years ago, I and my wife went to see reverend Uma Ukpai.

He was lodged in a hotel in Lagos.

When we got there, he wanted to talk to me personally, not wanting to asked my wife to excuse us, he said "Holy spirit, put her to sleep".

He hadn't finished speaking before my wife suddenly slept off. It was as if an unknown hand had administered her with Anastasia.

I was scared but he told me not to be afraid.

When he was done, he asked the Holy spirit to wake her up, she woke up immideately without anybody touching her.

Reverend Uma Ukpai has proved that all Christ did can be done.

Beloved keep on pushing, do not be discouraged, the gospel is alive.

[21]To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;

Beloved, the scriptures above are very real.

God's servant Archbishop Benson Idahosah practically demonstrated the reality of the word of God.

He healed the sick, raised the dead and even commanded inanimate materials to multiply.

Archbishop had come visiting his university that was under construction from a trip. He was told that the building materials had finished. Immideately he heard that, he commanded the materials to be replenished and it did.

One of his last miracles was about the boy who fell down from a three storey building.

He landed with his head on the concrete and broke his skull.

His brain was pouring out.

When the Archbishop came, he held the boy's head in his hand and prayed in toungue until the head was completely healed.

They didn't have to see a doctor.

Smith Wigglesworth, was a man that demonstrated that man on earth can actually operate the complete wisdom of God.

Evil spirits and diseases submit to him. Cancers bow before him.

Whenever he enters a city, the sick vacates the hospitals. He made hospitals mare monuments and rendered doctors unemployed.

Know what, you can actually be like him if you believe.

The Bible describes our God as the one that makes the clouds his chariots.

He walks upon the wing of the winds.

These scriptures describe the strange transportation system of our God.

With this system of transport, there is no hold up.

The wind cannot be stopped and the clouds cannot be frustrated.

This system is not the exclusivity of our God, it's also available to His children.

Ye are gods, the scripture said.

If you hunger for this type of speed, God will surely give it to you.

[18]And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.

[19]So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.

[20]But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.

[21]Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.

Beloved, if you read these scriptures very well, you would shockingly realize that as soon as Jesus stepped into their ship, the ship got to the land.

They were under a terrifying storm untill Jesus stepped into the ship.

The presence of the master transported them immideately to the land.

There are different forms of transportation, but teleportation is a form were one is move by the spirit of God.

This form moves at a speed that is faster than that of light.

This type of speed is what is desperately needed to speed up your destiny.

I pray that God will deliver the need speed to change your destiny in Jesus mighty name.

Once betrayers are set, they hadly retreat.

It's an evil spirit.

The bible recorded that Satan entered into Judas.

That was why he could not retreat even though Jesus severaly  declared that one of them would betray Him.

[3]Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

[4]And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.

[5]And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.

[6]And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

Judas was one of the most trusted of the the disciples of Jesus.

Jesus made him the treasurer of the ministry but that was not enough for him, he wanted more.

Satan entered him because he made himself available.

He had already sold Jesus in his heart.

What was he doing with Jesus' enemies.

 Today, many lust to relate with the sworn enemies of their fathers.

They shamellesly aclaim such people on social media as their fathers.

These Absoloms never have one father.

Once Judas saw money, he sold out his master.

Beloved, Judas is much better than many of our modern day brethren.

Just give them food and there mouth becomes a public tap, every secret must be released.

 Make you Shame small brother!!!

Reject and rebuke that spirit.

[3]And Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters are good and right; but there is no man deputed of the king to hear thee.

[4]Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would do him justice!

[5]And it was so, that when any man came nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him.

[6]And on this manner did Absalom to all Israel that came to the king for judgment: so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.

Absalom employed deception in order to steal the hearts of the people away from his anointed father.

Someone once told a friend of mine that if he was anointed, that one of his pastors would not have been able to connive with some other to damage the work.

My friend was broken and shattered.

I laughed and asked him who was the most anointed being in the universe, he answered God.

How could Satan pull such stunts in Heaven?

Betrayal happens because of trust and confidence bestowed on another.

I told my friend that he is not more anointed than God who anoints all.

All betrayers end badly.

In 2 Samuel 18:9, the Bible stated thus concerning Absalom.

[9]And Absalom met the servants of David. And Absalom rode upon a mule, and the mule went under the thick boughs of a great oak, and his head caught hold of the oak, and he was taken up between the heaven and the earth; and the mule that was under him went away.

The evil forces of vengeance which he kindled hung him on a tree making him a cheap target for his enemies to execute.

Refuse to be used as a sword against a friend.

[12]And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.

[30]And David went up by the ascent of mount Olivet, and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went barefoot: and all the people that was with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up.

[31]And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.

This rebellion was planned and executed by Absolon but David was so devastated hearing that Ahitophel was part of it.

Ahitophel was David's  adviser, whose advice was just like one from Heaven.

Betrayal is devastating because a Bossom friend turned enemy is out there with all your secrets, shared with him in confidence.

David was badly wounded when he heard that Ahitophel was part of the conspiracy.

He cursed the counsel of Ahitophel into foolishness.

I curse the wisdom of all your enemies in Jesus mighty name.

[11]Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.

[12]For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:

[13]But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.

[14]We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.

[15]Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.

Betrayal is the violation of a person's trust or confidence.

Betrayal often begins with backstabbing, disloyalty, infidelity and treachery.

The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies.

The very first betrayal recorded in the scriptures happened in Heaven when Lucifer betrayed the trust that God bestowed upon him.

Many people blame themselves when betrayed. They often imagine that they could have avoided it if they were smarter.

Remember that the smartest being that ever existed, God suffered betrayal.

[2]Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

God knows how fickle minded men can be at remembering the good things done for them.

He therefore commissioned the Holy spirit to impress it in the spirit of prophet David to pen this down.

Have you not heard  stories of men who spent their last savings to raise their siblings.

Unfortunately things went down for them, their children became house helps in their uncle's homes.

 

There are many people that you gave a platform, who beat their chests today and brag about their being selfmade.

TEXT :11:1-3

[1]And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.

[2]And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was quenched.

[3]And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the LORD burnt among them.

At Taberah, the fire of the Lord consumed His children who were ungrateful.

Their corporate ingratitude generated sufficient energy to kindle the fire that altimately consumed them.

Refuse to camp with ungrateful people, ingratitude is very contagious.

TEXT :ISAIAH 14:12-16

[12]How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

[13]For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

[14]I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

[15]Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

[16]They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

INGRATITUDE IS THE LEYS THE EGG OF REBELLION.

Beloved, Satan was created the most perfect and beautiful angel ever made by God, but that was not enough to satisfy him.

Ingratitude is the evil spirit that fuels rebellion.

Satan was in Heaven.

In Heaven there were no bad influences, no evil spirit and no competitors yet he was currupted, why?

Ingratitude overthrew him and brought him down.

We are to constantly search our selves to be sure that we are still standing.

Anyone can fall if we think that we are standing.

TEXT : GENESIS 40:30-23

[20]And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.

[21]And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand:

[22]But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.

[23]Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.

Dearly beloved, the Bible said that "he forgat him".

Why did he foget?

Because most men suffer from ingratitude.

They only remember you when they need you.

As a young pastor, I often watch people with excitement as they give testimony and end it with " I will never leave this church, you will be my pastor forever".

Two months latter, they are in another church.

The Butler forgot Joseph, but God remembered him.

How will this Butler face prime minister Joseph the next day in the palace?

Don't be like him.

TEXT :PSALMS 109:5-7,14-15

[5]And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

[6]Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.

[7]When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.

[14]Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.

[15]Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.

Dearly beloved, we have all entered the new month and we have received many beautiful declarations.

Many of these declarations may not speak because many are standing on slippery grounds.

The Bible is a book of laws, promises and principles.

The laws do not respect persons and the principles often override the promises.

If someone made a great investment in your life in your vulnerable moments, do not repay him with insults when you think you have become strong.

You may be running on banana peels.

I was suprised when our Lord asked, " were they not ten that were healed".

Jesus was shocked that only one returned to say thank you.

To the one that returned, He declared " You are made whole".

You can make this month a month of amendments.

[21]Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

[24]Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Beloved, the people referenced here had known God, interacted with Him, recieved all manner of kindness from Him.

They had used Him and have no more need of Him.

They are now made.

Many people have used you and dumped you when they think they have no need of you anymore.

Some have justified their ingratitude with religious slogans, wipe your tears.

When you did it for then, you did it for the Lord.

God never forgets, He remembers all your labour of love.

Your story is about to change, you will soon laugh like Sarah.

TOPIC : DEALING WITH DISOBEDIENCE

TEXT : JOSHUA 5:4-6

[4]And this is the cause why Joshua did circumcise: All the people that came out of Egypt, that were males, even all the men of war, died in the wilderness by the way, after they came out of Egypt.

[5]Now all the people that came out were circumcised: but all the people that were born in the wilderness by the way as they came forth out of Egypt, them they had not circumcised.

[6]For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD sware that he would not shew them the land, which the LORD sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

Beloved, God has been showing us how terribly He hates disobedience.

Many are facing recurrent battles that they actually attracted to themselves by their stubborness.

Sometimes we need to purse and ask ourselves, ' am I reaping? Or am I sowing'.

Many of our battles of today are the result of our past seeds that has germinated.

Beloved, what type of seeds are you sowing'?

Many may not know that refusing to attend church programs without permission is disobedience.

Unfortunately even in the spiritual realms, ignorance is not an excuse.
