Beloved, Job by faith knew that he will see his deliverance in his life time.

He knew that God will surely remember him.

Beloved, do you know that as a child of God, that God will reach out to help you.

Job knew that there was help in God and that made him to wait.

[8]And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

[9]Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

[11]But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

Beloved, the Psalmist declared in Psalms 34:2 that his soul shall make his boast in the LORD, but can God boast about you?

God was boasting about Job and his life of integrity.

Satan told God that Job's worship was commercially induced but God knew Job's heart and his pure spirit.

God can also boast of Job's rugged faith.

How healthy is your faith?

Job recovered all because of the strength of his faith.

[26]In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

[27]In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

Beloved, the above highlighted scriptures were the resume of one of God's greatest apostles, yet he fulfilled destiny.

How would it be seen if it was written today, a man who didn't know God.

Beloved, God's ways are truely not our ways.

Your trials are just for a season, your faith remains an instrument of rescue.

It is a victorious instrument.

It has never failed, it will not fail in your life.

[10]Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

[11]It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:

[12]If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

[13]If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Beloved, you may be in trouble today but always remember that the word of God can never be in trouble because it can not be bound.

Jesus met a demon possessed man who was living in the grave yard.

He could not be bound because the forces operating inside him melted all the chains.

The demon possessed man was unbindable because of the presence of demonic forces.

When Jesus appeared, he became free.

Beloved you cannot be bound because the word of God dwells in you.

The scripture said in Matthew 16:19

"And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Beloved, you can lose yourself and your loved ones from every bondage today in Jesus mighty name.

[5]Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

[6]And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.

[7]And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

Dearly beloved, Peter was held by a hand that is stronger than his.

It was a very bad situation, he was facing execution.

Strangely Peter was calm.

What manner of man was Peter?

What did he know that made him fearless at the face of death?

His faith was stronger than death.

He was praying, and the church was praying for him also.

Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared in the prison and his chains fell off from his hands.

The knowledge of what the future holds for you ensures that you do not give up.

His plans for you are good plans, they are plans of a guaranteed future.

One of the greatest challenges to the faith of a christian is the spirit of delay.

This spirit is a spirit of frustration.

The spirit of God has revealed to you your destination, you feel it, and you can see it in the eyes of your spirit, yet very far from you.

Many of the heroes of faith went through same frustrations.

It is called a spiritual waiting game.

You might be going through a period where it seems as if God is silent.

Be calm, God is very near, He will soon visit your case like He did Joseph's own.

[5]So he did according to the word of the Lord; he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, east of the Jordan.

[6]And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning and bread and flesh in the evening, and he drank of the brook.

Ravens are birds that are known to be perpetually hungry.

They are almost always hungry that they are known to eat their own babies.

God has a way of undermining contemporary wisdom.

This is because His ways are higher than our ways.

God who harvests water from the dry stone, was the one who sent Elijah to be fed by the raven.

I do not know what you are dealing with now, but remember that God will do everything to rescue you.

No matter how stingy that fellow is, he must bless you.

Beloved, your confidence in the face of crisis is a major determinant of what the outcome would be.

This scripture explained that you enemy is watching out to know if you are terrified, if you are, you are finished.

Beloved, refuse to let your enemy see your fear, your anxiety or your tears.

Satan is only a roaring lion, it's teeth has already been uprooted by the real lion, the Lion of the tribe of Judah.

[21]But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.

[22]And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship.

[23]For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,

[24]Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

Dear is something about this event.

Have you ever travelled in a boat?

It could be a most scary experience if the boat suddenly breaks down in  the middle of the sea with the nearest land still about five miles away.

In the midst of a worse situation, Paul was still very confident that no one would drown.

He told them to eat and relax that it shall end up in praise.

What did Paul know that made him conquer death completely while he lived?

Is that knowledge still available?

He was operating strange faith in hard times.

[38]And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.

[39]Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

[40]But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

The ministry handed over to the disciples were at its infancy when the disaster of Dorcas's death struck them.

It was the enemy's arrow thrown to destroy the young ministry.

It was an unbearable loss.

They sent for peter.

Peter met a wailing church.

Satan's arrow got his target with precision.

Peter sent the weeping congregation away, knelt down, prayed and resurrected her.

You will not be put to shame.

You have already survived that attack in Jesus might name.

[6]But if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour: therefore shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof.

[7]They answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation of it.

[10]The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.

Nebuchadenezzar was troubled by his nightmare and needed to know the interpretation.

For him to be sure that his wise men were not lying to him, he requested that they tell him his dream before the interpretation.

The wise men to the king that only the gods can tell someone the dream he had.

These wise men were actually correct.

What they didn't know was that there was a God among them.

Those who do know their God shall be strong and do exploits.

Daniel, his friends and the other wise men were in big trouble.

Daniel asked the king to give him time.

He knew that his God is a riddle breaker and a dissolver of mysteries and would give him an answer.

I don't know what you are facing now, take it to Jesus in prayer and every riddle about your life will be resolved.

You will never know how far God will take you to until you take the first step of faith.

That demonstration of  total trust in God is what gets His attention in your direction.

Eleazar the son of Dodo made himself available to serve king David, he was transformed into a warrior that he himself could not recognize.

God manifests Himself in the lives of those who make themselves available.

Eleazar would have lived unsung if he did not decide to live his life in the faith zone.

[34]Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

Hard times does not reduce the efficacy of faith.

Faith is a common denominator, it operates effectively at all times.

Faith is no respecter of seasons, it is the victory that overwhelms every contradicting and contradictory evidence.

By faith common men subdued kingdoms.

They stopped the mouths of approaching deaths and graves.

Their faith quenched the violence of fire, melted the swords of the enemy and turned weaklings into valiant warriors.

As you go through this season of your life, realize that God has not forsaken you.

He swore that He will never leave nor forsake you.

Get ready for your turn around story.

[2]Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,

[3]I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

[4]And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,

[5]Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

Beloved, with our God, every ugly condition is reversible.

You can change what you don't want.

You change it by rejecting it no matter who decreed it.

"Who has said it and it stands when the Lord has not commanded it".

Hezekiah changed the verdict of death declared over him by vehemently rejecting it and presenting his good works.

Today all you need to present is the finished work of Christ on the cross and His resurrection.

[12]Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.

[13]And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

[14]And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel.

Joshua the savant of the Lord was confronted by four kings in a bloody war.

The Lord commanded him to attack and not to be afraid.

He attacked them and the Lord rained down hail stones on his enemies also.

When Joshua saw that it was getting dark and that he needed day light to complete his victory, he commanded the sun to stand still until he was done destroying his enemies and the Lord honoured his words.

So a mortal man can control the nature.

God wants us to have total dominion over all His creation.

I do not know what you are grappling with now, but if you will dare to speak with faith, you will soon be victorious.

[4]So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.

[5]But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.

[6]And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.

[7]Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.

These men were on a legitimate pursuit to expand their terrain, their resources and their ministry.

They received the blessing of their prophet and the prophet even went with them yet disaster still struck.

They lost the equipment they borrowed for their business expansion.

It is more tolerable to lose what is yours, but losing what you borrowed is like double Jeopardy.

This was a very precarious situation but they went into action with the representative of their God.

I do not know what you are facing today, but if God is involved, it will still end up in praise.

[17]No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Beloved, the promises here are some of the greatest promises that I have found in the scriptures.

When you seem to be at the receiving end of  the forces of sickness, debts, broken relationships and spiritual attacks, God wants you to remember that no weapon, no evil plans, including forces of delay that is worked to hurt you shall succeed.

This is not just a promise, it's a covenant.

God defends this covenant with His righteousness.

I do not know what you are dealing with now, I am sent your way to tell you that it will end in praise.

[3]And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.

[4]And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.

[5]And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.

[6]And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD.

The wall of Jericho was an impregnable

Wall.

It was so large that a Hugh truck could run on top of the walls.

For every tough situation, God has a strategy for your overwhelming victory.

These strategies are usually tailor-made.

Are you going through what looks like a mountain?

Wipe your tears, remember that God is very near to you.

[32]And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed.

[33]And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood.

[34]And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time.

[35]And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water.

[36]And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.

[37]Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.

[38]Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.

Prophet Elijah took one of the greatest risks of his life when he called for this context.

What if fire didn't fall?

There are times when we must boast with the name of our God.

The psalmist said " I will make my boast in the Lord".

The God you boast about will never abandon you.

Begin to try great things even in this tough season and you will discover that your God is the owner of the seasons.

[1]Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.

[2]And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.

[3]Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.

[4]And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.

[5]So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.

[6]And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

Dearly beloved, the above encounter between prophet Elisha and this widow is typical of what faith can procure even in hard times.

Faith is no respecter of persons, times and seasons.

This woman's situation was precarious.

She had lost her husband and was about losing her two sons also, this time to her late husband's creditors.

I do not think that your own case is as bad.

Even if your case is worse, remember that with the God we serve, nothing shall be impossible.

Jehovah El Elyon means God the highest, He will never become the lowest in your own life.

[36]As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

[37]Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

[38]For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

[39]Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Our God is God both in the mountain top and the valley.

He has never changed and cannot change.

He has a nature that is predictable.

He is very compassionate.

This scripture is not referring to how much we love God but rather how much He loves us.

His love for us is everlasting and unchangeable.

What we are going through might be tough but always remember that the strongest personality in the universe loves you.

No situation can stop Him from loving you and reaching out to you.

[17]And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

[18]And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

[19]And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:

In hard times, you need your faith more than your expertise.

Real faith defies logic.

While going through hard times, you need the milk of God's words for your your faith to grow.

The word is also the illumination we have in tough times.

God said to Moses, move forward.

God may also be saying to you fear not and go forward.

[13]For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently."

This scripture has so much light inside of it.

It has so much power and has been a source of strength to me since it was revealed to me.

Faith comes by hearing and believing God's words.

When we act on the word we have received, we are acting out our faith.

Find God's word concerning your present challenge and begin to act on it and you will see God begin to act on your behalf.

Trusting God in hard times is only possible if only we can locate and learn about God's promises for our lives.

God's promises can be trusted because He does not lie.

God's promises are credible because He can bring them to pass.

With God all things are possible.

That promise declared  that whatever you are going through now, no matter how tough will turn out for your good if you are a child of God pursuing His purpose.

It might not look as if that ugly situation is changeable but because God has declared it, it must turn around for your good.

Keep on trusting God, your change is inevitable.
