TOPIC : FAITH IN HARD TIMES
TEXT :2 SAMUEL 23:9-10
[9]And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel were gone away:
[10]He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the LORD wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil.
You will never know how far God will take you to until you take the first step of faith.
That demonstration of total trust in God is what gets His attention in your direction.
Eleazar the son of Dodo made himself available to serve king David, he was transformed into a warrior that he himself could not recognize.
God manifests Himself in the lives of those who make themselves available.
Eleazar would have lived unsung if he did not decide to live his life in the faith zone.
What are you doing with your life?
Are you investing it in God or are you sowing it to the flesh?
