TOPIC : ITS TIME FOR A NEW BEGINNING
THE CONSEQUENCES OF REBELLION.
TEXT DEUTERONOMY 28:47-48
47 Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;
48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.
Dearly beloved, God created the earth and put His most beloved creation, man in a heaven-like garden called Edem.
Man was warned about a certain fruit in the centre of the garden, he was never to eat it.
Man rebelled and ate of that particular tree.
Adam thought that the issue in contention was a fruit, but it was not.
It was about obedience to two monarchs and two different civilizations.
Any one you obey, you immediately become his servant.
Rebellion dethrones the perpetrators and turns them into losers.
I sincerely pray for you that you will not be deceived by any force or situation to rebel against God in your life in Jesus mighty name.
