TEXT: LUKE 16:10
TOPIC : CAN YOU SERVE IN A SMALL CAPACITY?
Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much - Luke 16:10, NIV.
Joseph started as a pantry boy in his father's house, then to chief steward in Portiphar's house. He proceeded to be the overseer in Egypt's prison. From there he became the Prime minister of Egypt and vice to Pharaoh.
When Pharaoh made him his vice, he said: unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without you shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt - Genesis 41:44.
The power of starting small. Can something be committed into your care?
Are you accountable, can your leader trust that you will be there when he is not around?
Is you service governed by insincerity and eye service?
Do you serve with deception and ambition?
Do not forget that God rewards those who serve Him in spirit and in truth.
Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men - 2 Corinthians 8:21.
Joseph has passed the test of accountability at every opportunity he received to serve.
And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, for the corn which they bought: and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh's house - Genesis 47:14.
I have seen people who finish serving and loot the church.
They are called and begged to return what they looted for their own safety.
They move about with curses, shall a man rob God?
Zechariah 5:3-4, the curse of the Lord is in the house of the thief.
That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many - Nehemiah 7:2.
Beloved, realize that trust is a collateral security for any human and divine assistance
God bless you.
With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.
Your case is not bigger than God.
May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
Your Victory is already guaranteed
It is well, do not give up, with God all things are possible
