TEXT 1 SAMUEL 16:1-2
CLASSIC
TOPIC : BIRTHING YOUR NEW SEASON.
[1]And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.
[2]And Samuel said, How can I go?
Dearly beloved, prophet Samuel was the judge over Israel when Saul was rejected by the Lord.
Samuel was so devastated that he just kept grieving.
Many of us are like that and it's natural to grieve.
Losses are devastating, especially the loss of a loved one.
The enemy bring these blows to us because he knows that we are usually vulnerable after experiencing losses.
Losses often bring many to question the omnipotence of our God.
Beloved, during losses the Holy spirit would want to remind us that God still loves us and often, He is opening for us a new season.
Listen to the psalmist in Psalms 126:1, "When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream."
Psalms 30:5 says that,
"weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."
Are you sensitive enough to know when God is birthing a new season in your life?
When the Lord visited and turned the captivity of the captives in Zion, they were like them that dream.
Beloved, God wants you to be sensitive to the wind of the Holy spirit.
I can hear clearly that it's time to wipe your tears because God has closed the last chapter of that book, He has also opened a new chapter.
Shout with good understanding "It's a new season".
God bless you.
With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.
Your case is not bigger than God.
May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Your Victory is already guaranteed
It is well, do not give up, with God all things are possible
