TEXT 1 KINGS 18:44-45
CLASSIC
TOPIC : BIRTHING YOUR NEW SEASON.
[44]And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.
[45]And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.
Beloved, in the preceding chapter, the heavens over Samaria was shut down by the declarations of prophet Elijah
"And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word" (1 kings 17:1).
A closed heaven refers to a bad season, a season of famine.
It was one of the worst famines that was recorded in the bible.
But in chapter 18, Elijah sent a message to king Ahab to hasten up because it was about to rain.
The rain was the sign of a new season.
You may have be suffering as a result of the utterances of a witch or a wizard.
Your pains may have been caused by the political system, the financial system.
It might have been caused by traditional and cultural beliefs.
Even if they are sponsored by generational wickedness, right now I am decreeing a new season onto your life in Jesus mighty name.
My pronouncements are not predicated on the existing economic indices.
Elisha said to the king, by this time tomorrow, there will abundance in the land.
It looked and sounded impossible to the king.
What he did not know was that God would always use a man to declare a new season to other men in Jesus mighty name.
God bless you.
With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.
Your case is not bigger than God.
May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Your Victory is already guaranteed
It is well, do not give up, with God all things are possible
