TOPIC : THE DOMINATING FORCE OF FAITH

[4]Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

[5]Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

[6]Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Dearly beloved, this psalm is a signature of the Father on the page of His document written on the heart of His children.

It contains His covenant  of protection upon our lives which comes with complete assurance of peace.

I remember many years ago when I  worked as a manager, in a company in Lagos.

I was under pressure from my boss to compromise my faith on some very serious issues.

For a worker with my very little salary, the prospects of having to own a house was a very big temptation.

I could not sleep for many days while Satan dangled the bait day and night.

He would remind me that if I dared to say no,  I would lose my job, then my family will be thrown out of the accommodation where we live.

My daughter Zulu will also be thrown out of school.

All I needed to say was yes to a woman who wanted me by all means.

My life became a nightmare.

One night the Lord showed me this scripture and I was strengthened.

I said no to her proposition on a Monday, on Friday evening, I was given a sack letter.

I could not go home, I  held the letter, sat down on my seat and Satan roared at me in mockery, he said to me "Obinna,  admire the office very well because I would not come back here again."

When I eventually got home that night, I was let to study that same psalm through the night, I believed God and by the next day, the termination letter was terminated, praise God.

I pray for you that those trying to lure you to sin and destroy your soul will all fail in Jesus mighty name.
