TEXT :MALACHI 3:16-18
CLASSIC
TOPIC : OUR COVENANT OF EXEMPTION
[16]Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
[17]And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
[18]Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
There is no generation from the beginning of time that was spared the experience of famine.
That is why you read in the bible, the famine in the days of Abraham, the famine in the days of Isaac and the famine in the days of Jacob.
Remember that it was famine that drove the children of Israel into Egypt.
The situation was so bad that the bible described it as a money failure.
Genesis 47:15
"And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth".
I have tried to establish to you the fact that there is nothing that you are facing that is new to this world.
IT WAS IN THIS STATE OF FAMINE THAT ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB BECAME SO GREAT THAT THEY OVERWHELMED NATIONS.
In all the plagues in Egypt, the children of Israel who were in Goshen were protected by the mark of exemption that was upon them.
A greater than that mark is upon you.
It a mark of Jesus.
It exempts you from destruction.
Recognize and enforce it and you will feed fat even in famine.
God bless you.
With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.
Your case is not bigger than God.
May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Your Victory is already guaranteed
It is well, do not give up, with God all things are possible
(Please be a blessing to seven persons by sending to them devotionals)
