TEXT 2 KINGS 6:15-17
TOPIC : IDENTITY AND PREDESTINATION
[15]And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?
[16]And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
[17]And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
Dearly beloved, the king of Syria warred against Israel, but each time they plan the strategy for their attack, it will be revealed to Elisha by the spirit of God.
Elisha so much frustrated the efforts of the king of Syria that the king sent a troop to arrest the prophet, dead or alive.
When the servant of the prophet saw that they were surrounded by a troop, he screamed, " master we are finished".
Prophet Elisha prayed to God to open the eyes of his servant that he may see the actual situation on ground.
When God did open his eye, he discovered that the whole mountain was sorrounded by a host of Angelic forces.
He was afraid because he did not know who he was.
Elisha was not afraid because he knew who owned his life.
Beloved, who are you?
God bless you.
With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.
Your case is not bigger than God.
May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Your Victory is already guaranteed
It is well, do not give up, with God all things are possible
