TEXT MATTHEW 16:24-25
THE OVERWHELMING POWER OF SACRIFICE
[24]Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
[25]For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
Sacrifice is paying today to play tomorrow.
Many people play today and end up paying tomorrow.
Jesus said that those who try to save their lives, will lose it.
Yes, He means that you can only please God by faith.
For without faith, no one can please God.
Faith is not children's gain, it takes all we have to work it out.
Faith is warfare, it is man seeing like God.
Faith opens in us an eye that sees the future which makes it easier for us to sacrifice unto our God.
A life of sacrifice is not lived by giving God things once in a while.
It is lived by giving God, oneself as a living sacrifice.
God bless you.
With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.
Your case is not bigger than God.
May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
