TEXT : 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17-18
MANIFESTING CHRIST.
'Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;"
After the mystery of new birth, the spirit we received was perfect, we actually became exactly like Christ.
That is, our spirits became exactly like Christ, but our bodies and souls did not change.
We as Christians are tasked with the duty of renewing our minds with the scriptures until it aligns with the born again spirit.
The ultimate purpose of this renewal is to attain to the very mind of Christ.
The status of the mind of Christ is the expectation of God for all mankind.
This would have returned many to the original purpose of God which is the man of His image in the garden of Eden.
The man who was a super spirit.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.(Romans 12:2)
Christ's coming was God's way of achieving that same quality of man.
A man who cannot be sick.
A man who can raise the dead.
A man who can stop the works of wickedness.
We are the results and products of that celestial sacrifice and discharge of great mercy.
We are the new man in Christ, this man is indestructible.
We are as gods on the earth, we are now exactly like Christ.
I can not be defeated in the name of Jesus Christ.
