TEXT :1 SAMUEL 30:11-12
KINDNESS, A KEY TO TOTAL RECOVERY
"And they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he did eat; and they made him drink water;
And they gave him a piece of a cake of figs, and two clusters of raisins: and when he had eaten, his spirit came again to him: for he had eaten no bread, nor drunk any water, three days and three nights."
David was in distress and cried unto the Lord for help, God promised David that he would recover all.
However, God did not explain to him the details of how he would become victorious in that battle.
He was not given any blue print.
David in his pursuit encountered a young Egyptian whose boss had abandoned for dead.
David took the young man, fed him and nursed him back to life.
David dispensed mercy, his kindness spoke volumes in the young man's heart.
The young man became the compass through which David overtook his enemies and recovered all.
From the encounters of David, you would discover why many may have remained perpetually in an issue.
It could be because their hearts could not locate mercy where if dispensed would have brought their highly desired turn around.
Remember the fasting & prayers.
