TEXT: 1 John 2:1-2  

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Beloved, Christ is our advocate, He speaks on our behalf, constantly saying, " Father, they are  standing on what I did, not on what they did.

The father cannot ignore what Jesus did.

If we became sinners by what the first Adam did, we therefore have the right to stand righteous by what the last Adam did.

Beloved, if you sin, remember that there is an advocate standing before God on your behalf.

You are free from condemnation.

Beloved , our Daddy recognizes that we can fall, but whenever we fall, we must not give up.

The scripture has already made a way of restoration for us.

"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin".(1 John 3:4-5)

Jesus revealed Himself to take away our past, present and future sins.

TEXT  1 JOHN 3:8-9

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Beloved, I know that this may sound strange and unbelievable, but it's true.

Whoever is born of God does not sin, the seed of God is the DNA of God.

This is what the Bible in your hand says, and it's true.

"For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness".(Romans 6:14-18).

You cannot have two natures, your old nature is dead.

Your old man died the day you became born again.

A dead man does not sin.

You are dead to sin and alive to righteousness.

Sin no longer has dominion over you.

TEXT  LEVITICUS 16:20-22

And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat:

And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:

And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness

One of the biggest problems of the fallen man was sin consciousness.

His conscience was tented will the constant remembrance of his human weaknesses and frailties.

Man had to buy a goat and confess his sins for one year and bring it to the high priest. The high priest will slaughter the goat in the case of personal remition and  the goat is released into the wilderness when it's a community remition of sins.

This ritual is repeated annually because the goat can only handle the cover for one year.

"But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:" (Hebrews 10;3-5)

Jesus brought an end to the daily, monthly and yearly confession of sins.

Jesus paid the price for sin once and for all.

You are now free forever.

TEXT  EPHESIANS 1:7

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Beloved, if you are in Christ, you have defeated the problem of sin. The Bible declared,

"Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God" (1 John 3:7-9).

The day you were born again, you received a new nature, this new man is born of the seed of God.

Your old man that has the sin DNA died, a new man arose in you.

This new man has the nature of Christ's righteousness.

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:" (Romans 8:1-3).

When Jesus died, He died once to take away your sins.

God does not impute sin on you because it has been punished on Jesus.

When Jesus died, you died in him, when He resurrected, you resurrected in Him.

Dead men do not sin.

You must never carry a conscience that is stained by sin consciousness.

You are free from the problem of sin.

TEXT JOHN 6:18-21

And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.

So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.

But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.

Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.

Beloved, the disciples were experiencing a mighty storm in the sea in the early hours of the morning.

Suddenly, they saw a personality walking on the water towards them.

As the personality kept approaching, they became afraid and screamed that it was a ghost.

Jesus quietened them and declared that it was Him.

As Jesus stepped into their boat, they miraculously found themselves at the shore.

How it happened remained a miracle.

These were men who thought they were drowned, but as Jesus stepped into their vessel, safety stepped into the entirety of their beings.

Beloved, if you invite Jesus now into that challenge, He will step in and quieten the storm.

Jesus is the original commander -in- chief.

TEXT JOHN 5:5-8

And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

Beloved, the pool of Bethesda was the kind of place you don't want to go to.

It was a gathering of people with strange ailments.

You need a strong heart to be able to visit this pool.

If it was now, would have written "viewers discretion".

The Bible said that a certain man had been there for with his ailment for thirty eight years.

L am almost sure that he would have given up hope of ever enjoying good health again.

In Jeremiah 32:27 the Bible asked, " Behold, I am the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for me?"

I don't know what you desire God to intervene in?

Hear me now, God will surely intervene in that issue and He will secure victory for you.

It doesn't matter how many years that case has lasted, my God is ending that plague in Jesus mighty name.

TEXT LUKE 5:4-6

Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

Toiling starts when God is not involved, and continues thereafter.

In Luke 5, we see the account of Peter who toiled all night and caught nothing.

This simply means that your expertise can fail.

Expertise is good, but it still has it own margin of error that could lead to failure.

Putting your trust in your expertise is unwise.

Peter had the right skills, he had the right tools and he was not lazy because he fished throughout the night, yet he caught nothing.

Peter would have become the laughing stock of the fishers, but there was divine intervention that turned his faith into harvest.

Yours will surely happen, in Jesus mighty name.

And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.,

Beloved, this Canaanite woman had a daughter who Satan had taken possession of her mind.

She was not even qualified to receive anything from the Lord, but she insisted and leveraged on mercy, the mercy of God that never fails.

Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David...." I am not qualified, but have mercy on me.

I am depending on your mercy to turn around the calamity that has befallen my daughter.

Even though they tried to push her away, she persisted.

She knew that the mercy of God would not fail her.

Beloved, the enemy May be having sleepless nights on your case now, but the mercy of God is saying no on your behalf.

Just as mercy answered for her, mercy is answering for you now, your life will not be destroyed, your marriage will not be destroyed, your business will not be destroyed.

Your back May be against the wall but mercy will turn that situation around.

Beloved, mercy is not predicated on what you did or didn't do, but it's just Jesus reaching out to you.

Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king's house, more than all the Jews.

For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

Then Esther bade them return Mordecai this answer,

Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

The fate of a whole people, the Jews hung on the actions and inactions of Esther.

There was an urgent need for her to seek audience with the king, even though the king did not  summon her.

It was generally known that you do not see the king unless he summons you.

The punishment for breaking this law is death.

Esther being determined to save her people broke all existing protocols, stood before the king, and gained victims for her people.

Only God knows how many people who are looking up to you.

I mean people whose faith to continue or accept defeat is dependent on you.

These are people who would give up if they hear that you have failed.

And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;

And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.

Beloved, whenever I read this portion of the Bible, I begin to reconstruct the events over and over again.

A family was totally destroyed with one swipe of a bad decision.

When I was a child, I wept several times over what happened to Esau.

The conspiracy was horrifying and the 

 rejection he faced was devastating.

He thought his father would have kept at least one blessing for him, but his father told him that there was none remaining.

What many consider a blessing was actually an advice.

Isaac told him that if he would fight without giving up, that the day of his freedom was in view.

Esau took the advice, years later when they met, Jacob has some gifts for him.

He told Jacob to keep his peace offering that he had more than enough.

One person had the blessing, while the other had no blessing but a rugged and a determined human spirit, yet he prevailed in life.

Even if you inherited a generational curse, if you refuse to give up, those evil spirits will back off.

It takes violence to survive in this world and remain on the top.

If you must remain on the top, you need a very rugged and unrelenting spirit.

This life needs a great level of aggression in order to address spiritual rebellion against your spirit.

Don't be deceived, it has been established that life is a fight.

If you must win, you must fight through.

If you don't fight, you will still end up a casualty.

Beloved, the eagles flies and exists in terrains that are above ten thousand feets above sea level.

To achieve this feat, the eagle develop an deploys a brutal, aggressive and a violent spirit.

The eagle fights with the hyenas, snakes and other animals mercilessly.

Beloved, the Lord, wants you to develop a determined fighting human spirit that can survive and win at all times.

TEXT MATTHEW 26:73-75

And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.

Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.

And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

Peter was the leader of Jesus's first team.

He was highly trusted by the Lord, but Peter had his struggles.

When walking on water towards Jesus, Peter lost his faith and sank.

Peter also denied knowing Jesus three times when Jesus was arrested.

These were major failures, but he didn't let these multiple setbacks turn into permanent failure.

After Christ's resurrection, Peter persevered and overcame his personal struggles and demonstrated genuine love and faith in the Lord.

Ludwig Van Beethoven remained was of the greatest music  composers ever.

Even though Beethoven was deaf, he determined never to give up.

His music teacher had no pity for his condition and said that he was too stupid to be a music composer.

Despite these setbacks, he rose to become one of the greatest composers of classical music ever.

Where there is a will, there is a way.

Success is in the domain of the resilient spirits.

Without determination, there will be no success.

It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that things are difficult.

A Wiseman said that many of the world's greatest failures would never realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

You can be heavily talented and brutally brilliant without reaching the top of you lack a determined human spirit.

Until you make up your mind never to quit, you can still end up in the crowd.

Beloved, stop complaining about how bad everything is, the world is not ruled by talkers, it's ruled by determined fighters who never give up until there is success.

Friends, perceiver, keep the momentum going until you hit the finishing line.

People, conditions and situations May stop you temporarily, but only you can stop yourself permanently.

And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land

Beloved, there are times that men are truly cast down.

In our world today, men are cast down.

Relationships, including marriages are breaking down because many spouses cannot see the reason to wait for the change to come.

People are under pressure, but those with determined human spirits are winning.

Isaac dug the first well and got water, but the men of Gerar would not let him have it.

They strove with him and they took it.

He went down and dug another one which was also taken.

When he dug the third well, they left him alone.

Thomas Edison failed over nine hundred times in his attempt to invent the bulb that gives us light in our houses.

Beloved, even the Bible said that a good man will fall seven times, and rise up again.

I have discovered that if you refuse to give up, every force opposing you will give way.

This is an irrefutable law of nature.

It will not change.

Realize that this world is for the very bold,

 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Beloved, the scriptures declared that knowing Jesus is having eternal life.

Eternal life in Christ is the original plan of God.

It is not God's plan that anyone should perish, but that all would have eternal life.

Anyone that ended up in hell, got there not because of his deeds but because he rejected the sacrifice for sin who is Christ Jesus.

For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him would have eternal life.

Knowing Jesus means having a relationship with him.

It means opening the door of your heart to Him.

When He enters, you would no longer grope in darkness searching for the door, He is the door.

When you find Him, you have found the all purpose door.

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God

Who is Jesus?

He is the one who we live in.

He is the one who quickened us.

He is the one who made us to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Jesus by His exceeding riches in kindness has granted us His unmerited favor.

Beloved, you can now rejoice for who Christ is in our lives.

Let us also rejoice that He didn't fail even once.

It's a new season for you in Jesus mighty name.

TEXT MATTHEW 28:2-6

And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Beloved, we serve a God who died and rose again.

There are many irrefutable evidences that Jesus rose and that the grave is empty.

One of the evidences is that I still healed a partial stroke patient two days ago using his name.

 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things (Ephesians 4:8-10).

Jesus lives forever in those of us who believe in Him.

He bequeathed us with eternal life.

What manner of life would we have had if Jesus never resurrected.

Christianity would have been another dead religion.

It would have been a hopeless search for God.

The true Christian story is God's search for the man that disobeyed  Him and lost the garden of Eden.

Man in the garden had eternal life, man in Christ also has eternal life.

I have eternal life in Christ, He gave it to me and I cannot lose it, it is my heritage forever.

TEXT 1 JOHN 4:2-3 

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world

Beloved, who is Jesus?

Jesus is God that incarnated in flesh and dwelt among men.

Anyone who must know Jesus, must know Him from the point of His being God that walked on the earth, slept on a pillow, ate of the trees  He created.

Fellowshipped with the same men He created, including washing their feet.

He was human and was hungry sometimes, yet He was God.

Anyone that denies His earthly existence, does not know Jesus.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory(1 Timothy 3:16).

Jesus was hundred percent God and at the same time hundred percent man.

He became man so we can become god's, children of the most high God.

Jesus is a mirror with which a believer can see himself.

Whenever you see Jesus, you should see yourself.

If you cannot see yourself, you were taught wrongly.

TEXT   PHILIPPIANS 2:9-11 

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

WHO IS JESUS?

God gave Jesus a name that is above all other names.

This name is a weapon that commands other names to bow at its mention.

It controls powers in the earth, powers under the earth and even the ones in heaven.

God made Jesus Lord over everything He created.

He made Him Lord over every thing that has a name.

His name is superior to His blood according to our  highlighted scriptures.

His name is superior to the cross and his name is superior to holy water.

At the mention of His name, every knee must bow.

What is that problem that is confronting you, begin to use the name of Jesus against it.

You will soon celebrate your victory in Jesus mighty name.

 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

WHO IS JESUS ?

 

Jesus is God, the extension of God who came  to reconcile man with him Maker.

God becomes whoever He decides to be.

God became a man by borrowing the body of woman called Mary.

Those who believe in  Jesus instantly became God's own children.

Even those who received Him are also given power to become the sons of God.

These new believers, are not the product of flesh and blood.

They are born of the word of God, just like Christ.

Jesus is the power of God that turns us into new creatures.

Jesus is the greatest name ever to be received on the planet earth.

He is the way, the truth and life, when you find Him, you have found life.

TOPIC : CELEBRATING THE LAST MINUTE MIRACLES

TEXT LUKE 1:5-8, 11-13

There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.

And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.

And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest's office before God in the order of his course,

And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.

And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.

But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.

Beloved, Zachariah and Elizabeth has lived their lives loving God and doing His will.

They were no longer expecting a baby from the Lord.

They were not disappointed in the God of Abraham.

They still believed that the God their father's served was a faithful God.

Their visitation came at a time when they had given up all hope of having a baby.

It was a last minute one.

It was God's way of reminding us that nothing can deter Him now that your time has come.

Get ready for your last minute miracle, it shall end in your favor.
