STOP WAITING FOR GOD
ACTS 13:8-11
But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,
And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
After Apostle Paul and Barnabas were separated,
Apostle Paul preaching, came to Paphos and was frustrated by a sorcerer whose name was Bar-jesus.
While Paul preached to Sergius Paulus, who was a great leader in Paphos,
Elymas, or Bar-jesus use sorcery to withstand them.
He was making effort to turn away the Sergius Paulus from the faith.
Then Paul filled with the Holy Spirit commanded him to become blind for a season.
And immediately, he could only see darkness and needed someone to lead him by the hand.
When the Leader saw what happened to Elymas who was also called Bar-jesus, he believed in the gospel.
Apostle Paul understood his authority in Christ.
He knew that he had power over all demons.
He demonstrated his authority and contained the rascality of the devil.
God is always waiting for you to demonstrate your authority over all the devils who are frustrating and challenging your sonship in Him.
