16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
The word of the gospel is the power of God unto salvation.
Salvation is the Greek word soteria which means everything that is good.
Holy Spirit is saying here that the gospel wii fetch for you everything that is good if only you believe.
This includes wealth, peace, joy, good husband, good wife, godly children etc.
Whatever you need for a peaceful and joyous life on earth can be purchased at the instance of the word.
The scripture said in the book of Acts 20 verse 32,
32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
You see, the word of God is able to purchase for you an inheritance and give you complete rest.
I pray for you that as you enter this new week, you will put the word into action for instant results in the name of Jesus Christ.
God bless you.
With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.
Your case is not bigger than God.
May you have a God filled week ahead of you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God endures forever.
The grass withers because it receives it's sustainance from natural sources.
The flower fadeth because it depends on natural nutrients for survival but the word of God endures forever.
The word is not of this earth.
It is from above.
It is from a dimension that is far above in essence, reality and reliability.
The Bible says in the book of Matthew 24 verse 35 that,
"35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away".
This means that the God of Heaven has implicated Himself with His words.
Therefore whatever you find in the scriptures spoken by God is a sure promise.
It's integrity is surer than the breaking of the day.
If you hear God say that He Himself took away your sicknesses, if you receive it into your heart, your body will not be able to accommodate sicknesses anymore.
I decree that wherever this devotional finds you today that it will connect you to your own sure word in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
I also pray for you that this season will become a season of word hunting for you in Jesus mighty name.
God bless you.

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The word works wonders.
The word of God moves with a speed faster than that of light.
It's active, yes it is.
Whenever it is spoken over a matter in faith, restoration is the very next result.
I have used it on the blind and she received her sight
I have used it on the deaf, he received his hearing.
I have used it on the dead and she came to life.
I have often looked at people and God gives me a word that open to me the door to the thoughts going on in their hearts
The word of God is actually the rock upon I stand.
If you remove the word from my life, l am very sure that you would not have met me.
The Bible said in the book of John 6 : 63,
"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."
I pray for you that this season will become a season of word hunting for you in Jesus mighty name.

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
The Lord so much valued His word that He called His only begotten Son the word.
He could have given Him another name but He chose to call Him the word.
God loved His word so much that He exalted the word above His own name.
Psalms : 138 : 2,
2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
What the above statement means is that God has tied His integrity to the word therefore it can never fail, it has never failed and it will never fail.
You may be going through some challenging situations now but I assure you if you dig in God's treasure book, you will find your answers.
The song writer puts it this way;
Standing on the word of God, the word of God is powerful
I am standing on the word of God, the word of God is powerful
God bless you.
With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.
5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.
7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.
8 Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.
9 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value.
Judas dishonored his Master by betraying Him and ended up hanging himself.
The result of dishonor is always shame.
Judas killed himself because he could not manage the shame he brought upon himself.
Judas was one of Jesus' most trusted disciples of Jesus.
He was the one who kept their money.
Judas was a disaster to his Master, ministry and destiny.
I pray that you will never end up in dishonor in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
God bless you.

20 But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the LORD liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.
21 So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he lighted down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well?
22 And he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.
23 And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bare them before him.
24 And when he came to the tower, he took them from their hand, and bestowed them in the house: and he let the men go, and they departed.
25 But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither.
26 And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?
27 The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.
Elisha served and honored Elijah with all his life and earned a double portion of God's anointing upon his life.
Gehazi on the other hand dishonored Elisha, stole from him and brought upon himself and his generation, the leprosy of the Syrian General.
Whenever you start gathering ant infested wood, you are inviting the lizards for a contest.
Many people are dishonouring the spiritual leaders over them and when you watch their lives, you will not envy their harvests of calamity.
Many people are practically living on maintains where they are breaking curses as if the Lord called us to live on the maintains.
I pray for you today that as you start to honor the spiritual leaders and other leaders that God positioned around you, you will remain on the top of all your storms in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Before every church meeting starts, the Holy spirit and Jesus Christ are already there.
They have never come late nor stayed away from the gathering of the saints.
Wherever two or three are gathered in His name, He is there in their midst.
Imagine the Holy spirit and Jesus coming to have a meeting with you, and you either keep them waiting or kept away from the meeting with frivolous excuses.
That is dishonoring the Trinity.
The Lord said in 1 Samuel, 2 verse 30
30 Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.
7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.
8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.
9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.
10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.
11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.
Ananias and Sapphira his wife dishonored God by lying to the Holy spirit.
Often when we lie to our spiritual leaders, we might not know that we are lying to the Holy spirit.
What we call common lies have very terrible future consequences.
Many destinies have been renegotiated and compromised because they dishonored spiritual leaders.
God sees those who dishonored His men as though they are dishonouring Him.
Decide today that you will never dishonor anyone that God put above You in Jesus mighty name.

2 It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance.
3 And David said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped.
4 And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.
5 And David said unto the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead?
6 And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him.
7 And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I.
8 And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite.
9 He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me.
10 So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.
11 Then David took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that were with him:
12 And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword.
13 And David said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.
14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed?
15 And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.
David received what should have been good news to most of us but started mourning instead of rejoicing.
He was told that the man between him and the throne had just died but he was both shocked and dazed that king Saul could die like a man who was not anointed.
To cap it all, an unceircumcized Amalekite slew him.
David understood honor so he immediately killed the unbeliever who claimed to have killed the Lord's anointed.
Many people today are stocking fires that they will need a lifetime to stop. It's not every fire 🔥 that responds to water.

1 And it came to pass, when Saul was returned from following the Philistines, that it was told him, saying, Behold, David is in the wilderness of Engedi.
2 Then Saul took three thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and went to seek David and his men upon the rocks of the wild goats.
3 And he came to the sheepcotes by the way, where was a cave; and Saul went in to cover his feet: and David and his men remained in the sides of the cave.
4 And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul's robe privily.
5 And it came to pass afterward, that David's heart smote him, because he had cut off Saul's skirt.
6 And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD's anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD
7 So David stayed his servants with these words, and suffered them not to rise against Saul. But Saul rose up out of the cave, and went on his way
Honor is what distinguishes the wise from the fool.
Honor is a lifter of destinies.
The grace you honor is the grace you will receive.
It is impossible to honor God, His priests and your parents and fail in this life.
Honor is a ladder that always leads to the top.
Deuteronomy 5 : 16 demands us to honor our father and mother if we intend to live well and long in this world.
16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
There are many of us that are under curses and we have gone from one mountain to another mountain trying to break the curses.
Not all curses respond to such prayers.
Many are under the attack of serpents for breaking the hedge.
The sin of disobedience is seen as witchcraft by the Lord.
God cannot bless a witch.
The practice of witchcraft is not only when you start flying at night.
Many are resisting the call to honor their God appointed leaders and have ended up in total dishonor.
This shall never be your portion in Jesus mighty name.

Honor is a seed that begets equivalent harvests.
Honor when sown returns with multiple harvests.
God will bring to you many opportunities to sow the seed of honor.
This opportunity may be to sow into the life of your father, mother, leaders, spiritual parents and other people that God has put above you.
Every opportunity is a test.
Anyone failed may have a devastating life lasting effect.
David understood this principle so he decided he would not dishonor the Lord's anointed.
Those opportunities to attack king Saul were tests presented to ascertain weather he should be given the throne.
God was examining his heart.
His character was being tested.
Today God may just be examining your own character for promotion, may you not fail in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
6 And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.
7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
8 And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.
9 And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.
10 When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.
Peter was kept in the prison and over twenty soldiers were stationed to ensure that he does not escape from the prison.
An escape from such a prison was humanly impossible.
The prison was impregnable and no man had ever escaped from it before but the bible said that prayers were made for peter.
Peter slept in between two soldiers and bound with them to ensure that his escape was impossible.
But the church prayed and at midnight, an Angel from the Lord appeared in the prison with the weapon of light.
It was the same weapon that Jesus used against Paul on his way to Damascus.
The soldiers were used to human warfare but were armatures in supernatural warfare.
One million of these soldiers were no match for one Angel from the Lord.
I do not know the near impossible condition that you are dealing with.
Remember that the bible said that the church prayed and there was angelic intervention.
If you pray, there will be help from above.
Remember, God is no respecter of persons.
If He did it for peter, He will do it for you.
Our God can be trusted

Reading through this scripture, we did not see any place where peter showed any sign of anxiety.
What was it that he knew that made him so calm that he slept off.
Was he so sure that there would be an Angelic attack on that facility.
That might not be after all the Angels did not intervain in the case of James.
Peter had died totally to the flesh.
He knew that you don't kill a dead man.
He also had his eyes on eternity where men do not feel pains anymore.
He had mingled his spirit so much with God's spirit that they had become one.
He had become fearless because of the level of his trust.
He was not bordered about earthly chains.
He knew that he would be freer out of the body with the Lord.
There is no reason to fear when one is with the Master.
He knows knows the way even in the darkest of nights, He can be trusted to lead you to safety.

36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
These saints of our Lord Jesus saw it as an honor to suffer for their conviction.
They were beaten, mocked and imprisoned for their trust in the new home where there shall be no more tears.
Many were in bonds yet their conviction could not be bound.

These verses were referring to experiences that departed saints went through in their service to a most powerful God.
In the service of their father, some were hewn into pieces like fire wood.
Some were burnt on stakes, while others were served as meals to lions and other carnivorous beasts yet they died trusting.
They watched their faiths gradually dissipate as their spirits severed from their earthly bodies yet they trusted that their eternal reward will be worth their earthly pains.
They looked forward to an eternal paradise of tranquility where their father promised them.

36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.
37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.
38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
Jesus my Lord at Gethsemane was sorrowful unto death. Gethsemane was a valley of renegotiation. Satan tempted Jesus to renegotiate the human salvation.
It was a painful experience because He was going to die.
He had had a bonding relationship with His disciples who had become His brothers. Now, He was going to miss them.
Jesus loved His disciples and then His humanity became overwhelming.
Satan was in Gethsemane trying to convince Christ that their could be other ways for the salvation of man to be achieved. What ensured that our salvation was not negotiated was the trust that Jesus has on His Father.
Our Lord yielded His will to the superior will of His Father. You may be going through a Gethsemane experience now. Consider suspending your will for the higher will of our father.
It is my prayer that you will come out on the brighter side of life in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
