TOPIC : ITS TIME FOR A NEW BEGINNING
TEXT : LUKE 14:18-20
18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
Mark Twain said "There are thousands of excuses for failure but never a good reason".
If you are looking for excuses, there are many to make, but do not start this year with excuses.
Begin this year by taking charge of your life.
Many people have many plans that they have written down but have never acted upon any.
Be determined to act upon your plans this year.
Stop procrastinating, God has never worked with procrastinators.
Benjamine Franklin said "I never knew a man who was good at making excuses, who was good at anything else".
If you are determined to succeed this year, you must be tenacious enough to find an answer to any challenge no matter how tough.
If you want to give an excuse, there is always one to give.
You can be that fine minister that people will come to the church to hear, but you have to be disciplined to read all the books for each month.
Your prayer and fasting program must be adhered to without excuses.
There cannot be a rise without a price, you must invest into your future.
Until you forego something, you can never go up.
Beloved, this year there are certain pleasures you must postpone in order to gain the treasures that your destiny needs to be celebrated.
God bless you.
With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.
Your case is not bigger than God.
May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Your Victory is already guaranteed
It is well, do not give up, with God all things are possible
