TEXT : JONAH 2:1
CAN YOU TALK TO GOD IN YOUR MESS ?
"Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly,
And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice."
One of the most subtle devices of the devil is to blackmail you out of God's presence with guilt.
It worked with Adam and Eve, when they sinned, they began to hide from God.
The Bible said that God came visiting again as usual, but Adam and Eve hid themselves for they said that they were naked.
God wants us to come boldly to Him even in our mess.
"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.(Hebrews 4:16)"
A sin stained conscience is the plan of Satan for all children of God.
When you carry this load of a conscience, you can never appear before God, not to even talk of appearing boldly.
Refuse to permit the devil to drive you away from your Daddy's presence.
