TOPIC : ITS TIME FOR A NEW BEGINNING
TEXT : LUKE 18:1
1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint
When men begin to faint in prayer, Satan begins to reign.
Prayer according to the book of Jude 1 verse 20 "But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,"
When you pray, you build up yourself.
Why we have to pray without ceasing is because our spiritual lives are like the batteries of our cell phones.
On daily basis we deplete it as a result of usage. We therefore recharge our batteries regularly.
Holy spirit expects us to recharge daily by koinonia, a mingling of spirits.
We are to pray without ceasing because
Prayer is the life we live in the spirit.
Before you complain about your problems, have you prayed?
Men aught always to pray and not to faint.
Remember, you are what you do always.
By creating a habit of prayer you become like your praying Lord, Jesus .
You must take responsibility of your life and destiny otherwise Satan will gladly mess it up for you.
When Adam lost his spiritual life by choice, he died but he did not know he was a dead man because he could still move around.
The loss of spiritual life is the loss of communion with God.
It is the biggest tragedy that could befall a man.
The big problem is that many do not know when they became living dead men.
When a plane loses it's navigational equipment and it can no longer establish contact with the radar, it may still be flying in the air, but it's lost.
A crash is only a matter of time.
Beloved, begin this year with aggressive prayers, soon you will be grateful that you did.
