CLASSIC

TOPIC : BIRTHING YOUR NEW SEASON.

[6]And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD.

[7]And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD because of the Midianites,

[11]And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.

[12]And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.

[13]And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.

[14]And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?

Beloved, the Midianites had so brutally dealth with the children of Israel that there was no man standing.

Their cruel approach towards the children of Israel castrated their masculinity and totally feminized all the men.

Gideon was hiding by the winepress to thresh wheat.

There was total despair and hopelessness  in the land.

It was in this condition that the help of God reached out for them.

It was God's faithfulness that ushered in their deliverance.

It's never late with God.

He does not need ten years to fulfil His plans for your life.

The bible said in the book of 2 Peter 3:8,

" that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

We serve a game-changing God.

He is changing your story now, if you believe it type a bold amen.

TOPIC : BIRTHING YOUR NEW SEASON.

[21]But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.

[22]Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven.

[23]Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.

[26]And Samson said unto the lad that held him by the hand, Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house standeth, that I may lean upon them.

[29]And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left.

[30]And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

Beloved, Samson's captors were celebrating their conquest of God's people.

They had fastened him with supposedly most secured fetters of brass and brought him to be used as a toy for sports.

They assumed that Samson was finished.

That was where they made a huge  mistake.

Satan also made a similar mistake when he pushed Jesus to the cross.

What he did not know was that the wisdom of God was always ahead .

God is very jealous when it has to do with  His own.

He will never forsake His own, He is a covenant keeper.

He also has the power to execute His purposes on the earth.

Samson suddenly entered a new season by the reason of his sudden hair growth which was the source of his strength.

Beloved, you will sing a new song in Jesus mighty name.

TEXT 2 KINGS 17:12-16

CLASSIC

TOPIC : BIRTHING YOUR NEW SEASON.

[12]And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

[13]And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

[14]For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.

[15]And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.

[16]And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.

Beloved, yesterday we saw God intervening and introducing a new season for a nation, today we would be looking at God birthing a new season in the life of an individual.

The conditions and circumstances of the survival of the woman in  this scripture was very precarious.

1 Kings 17:11-12

"And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.

And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.(1 Kings 17:11-12).

They were about eating their last meal just before the prophet arrived.

The prophet placed a seemingly impossible demand on the woman.

This was God testing her in both giving and compassion.

Many have failed these  tests and have remained at the same spot for years.

You may be down to zero as you are reading this.

That spirit of delay may seem as if it had won the battle of lordship in your life.

That marriage may be full of torture and pain, but God is up to something.

CLASSIC

TOPIC : BIRTHING YOUR NEW SEASON.

[1]Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.

[2]Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

Elisha declared a new season in Samaria in the middle of a horrible famine.

This famine was so terrible that women had started canibalizing on their own children.

Listen to what transpired between these women and the king in 2 Kings 6:28-30.

"And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him to day, and we will eat my son to morrow.

So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said unto her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him: and she hath hid her son.

And it came to pass, when the king heard the words of the woman, that he rent his clothes; and he passed by upon the wall, and the people looked, and, behold, he had sackcloth within upon his flesh."

Beloved, I honestly understand why the kings adviser could not believe Elisha.

He could not see any verifiable facts to support what the prophet was prognosticating.

If the prophet had given three months for things to change, it would have made some sense to the King's adviser.

Tomorrow was just a few hours apart.

"For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."(Isaiah 55:9-11).

In the name of Jesus Christ, I decree a new season in your life in Jesus mighty name.

TEXT 1 KINGS 18:44-45

CLASSIC

TOPIC : BIRTHING YOUR NEW SEASON.

[44]And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.

[45]And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.

Beloved, in the preceding chapter, the  heavens over Samaria was shut down by the declarations of prophet Elijah

"And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word" (1 kings 17:1).

A closed heaven refers to a bad season, a season of famine.

It was one of the worst famines that was recorded in the bible.

But in chapter 18, Elijah sent a message to king  Ahab to hasten up because it was about to rain.

The rain was the sign of a new season.

You may have be suffering as a result of the utterances of a witch or a wizard.

Your pains may have been caused by the political system, the financial system.

It might have been caused by traditional and cultural beliefs.

Even if they are sponsored  by generational wickedness, right now I am decreeing a new season onto your life in Jesus mighty name.

My pronouncements are not predicated on the existing economic indices.

Elisha said to the king, by this time tomorrow, there will abundance in the land.

It looked and sounded impossible to the king.

TEXT ISAIAH 43:16-19

CLASSIC

TOPIC : BIRTHING YOUR NEW SEASON.

[16]Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;

[17]Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.

[18]Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

[19]Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Dearly beloved, the wisest man, king Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 3:1'4 that there is a season for everything.

"(1)To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

(4)A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;"

If you are not sensitive to the spirit of God, you may miss or truncate a season that God is ushering you into.

You can only know that God is getting ready to move you into a new season by sensitivity.

In those quiet moments where grief has isolated you, where Satan's whispering has become a deafening noise, if you can refuse the easier wrong and the cheaper alternatives, you will hear God.

God wants you to know that you have come to the end of this dry season.

Did you not hear him say, I will do a new thing;

Now it shall spring forth.

I will make a way in your wilderness, and rivers in your desert.

Until you hear God, you cannot be fully restored.

You were permitted to be crushed because like grapes, you are coming out as fresh wine that can be preserved for hundreds of years.

"[25]And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

[26]And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed."(Joel 2:25-26).

There are things that only God can restore.

No man can restore time, broken heart and  bruised spirit, but God can and He is saying He will.

He has given triplets to many women who devil turned into waiters in their marriages.

He restored to Jacob three children while he waited and thought that Joseph was gone forever.

He will surely restore to you all that devil thought that he had stolen from you life, it's a new season for you in Jesus mighty name.

TEXT DEUTERONOMY 2:2-3

CLASSIC

TOPIC : BIRTHING YOUR NEW SEASON.

[2]And the LORD spake unto me, saying,

[3]Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

Dearly beloved, the words above were God's words to Moses.

Grief, when protracted has a way of isolating the victims and creates vulnerability.

One of the greatest weapons of the enemy is isolation.

Have you ever watched the lion chasing after a pack of weaker animals?

He first scatters them, then isolates one and goes after that one.

This strategy hardly fails.

The enemy will first isolate it's prey, then begin to feed them lies.

Satan will try to convince you that God is not faithful, that God is the cause of your pains and that God whose other name is love does not love them.

Birthing a new season begins from when a victim's vision changes from his state to his estate.

The prodigal son was able to birth a new season when he saw his heritage.

When you see from God's word the possibilities available to anyone who is a child of God, you will marvel.

John the Baptist was destroyed and couldn't  enter into a new season because he missed the word.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:

The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me."(Matthew 11:4-6).

You cannot enter a new season with the mindset of one in a storm.

You must see and declare what God's word is saying about your future.

As you begin to do this, you will  see once again the faithfulness of God that has always been there.

God bless you.

With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

[1]And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.

[2]And Samuel said, How can I go?

Dearly beloved, prophet Samuel was the judge over Israel when Saul was rejected by the Lord.

Samuel was so devastated that he just kept grieving.

Many of us are like that and it's natural to grieve.

Losses are devastating, especially the loss of a loved one.

The enemy bring these blows to us because he knows that we are usually vulnerable after experiencing losses.

Losses often bring many to question the omnipotence of our God.

Beloved, during losses the Holy spirit would want to remind us that God still loves us and often, He is opening for us a new season.

Listen to the psalmist in Psalms 126:1, "When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream."

Psalms 30:5 says that,

"weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

Are you sensitive enough to know when God is birthing a new season in your life?

When the Lord visited and turned the captivity of the captives in Zion, they were like them that dream.

Beloved, God wants you to be sensitive to the wind of the Holy spirit.

I can hear clearly that it's time to wipe your tears because God has closed the last chapter of that book, He has also opened a new chapter.

Shout with good understanding "It's a new season".

TEXT JOHN 9:1-3

CLASSIC

TOPIC : OVERCOMING ADVERSITIES.

[1]And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

[2]And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

[3]Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

One of the most painful aspect of adversity is that it creates opportunity for mockery and judgement.

Beloved, human beings assume that there must be an answer for everything that happen to them or to people around them.

When they seem not to get one, they manufacture the answer.

The disciples asked Jesus in our anchor scripture for today concerning the blind man, who sinned?

An elderly woman who I had known for decades rushed to my house one evening, looking emaciated and at the point of mental derailment.

She had three children, all married but none had a child.

A prophet had told them that she was responsible for their painful conditions.

I watched her raise them, she put them in the best schools and finally sent all of them abroad.

She said to me pastor, they say that I am a witch.

Beloved if you have ever been put in the waiting mode of life, you will understand me very clearly.

Others start this business and it works, you start your own and nothing seems to be working.

Others marry and it works, you get married and your life is put in a pause mode.

Others start their ministry and in two years, every where is jammed even with overflow, you start your own and it's as if God didn't call you.

It is at this point that people begin to ask you where is your God?

beloved, don't answer for God. Let God answer for Himself. If God has always taken the glory in your life, then it's not your place to answer for God.

In Proverbs 13:12 the bible said that,

"Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life."

What should you do when adversity seem to have overtaken you.

Remember the comfort of scripture (Romans 15v4).

Psalm 119 v 28

My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.

May God's word see you through this season in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

TOPIC : STORMS ONLY COME TO PASS.

[22]Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.

[23]But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.

[24]And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.

[25]And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

The scripture is filled with "and it came to pass".

It occurred 120 times in the king James version of the bible, starting with Genesis chapter 4 verse 14.

There are so many types of storms the occur in life, but they all come to pass.

There is no storm that can remain permanent, no matter how strong and stubborn the storm may be.

What to do in the middle of the storm.

When a boat runs into a storm, the captain does everything possible to be the passengers calm.

If many people panic and move to one side, the boat will start sinking from that side.

So resist the temptation to panic.

While in a storm, focus on survival instead of stopping the storm.

Some storms can not be stopped, they must go through their circles.

If you focus on stopping them, you will be distracted, exhausted and finally drowned.

Only focus on survival.

Peter was used to Jesus's performance that he forgot that He was present in the storm.

So many believers  forget our Lord's abiding presence and His covenant of protection once in a storm,

The bible said in Deuteronomy 31:8,

"And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed."

I pray that you will come out of this present storm in Jesus name.

[25]And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

Beloved, the disciples were on duty carrying out the exact instructions of the Lord.

They were not in disobedience, yet the storm of wind attacked their boat.

The biggest shock for them was that the miracle worker was inside of the boat yet the raging storm came.

I have seen bad things happen to good people and because of their very poor knowledge of the scripture, they were almost completely destroyed by the storm.

The disciples were totally shaken by the storms.

Their whole foundation was shattered.

My question today is, can you be steady in the storm?

Anybody can be steady when  everywhere is stable.

If you can be steady in the storm, then you are no longer a child, you are a matured son of the kingdom.

Soldiers in the military academy go through the most rigorous and life threatening trainings.

The reason is that one day they will need that discipline to be alive.

We are soldiers in the Lord's army.

He puts us through certain tough trainings in order to bring out the real stuff we are made of.

The question is still, can you be steady in the storm?

TEXT ROMANS 8:35-39

CLASSIC

TOPIC : OVERCOMING ADVERSITIES.

[35]Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

[36]As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

[37]Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

[38]For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

[39]Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Dearly beloved, faith is defined in the book of Hebrews 11:1 as

the substance of things hoped for, and as the evidence of things not seen.

Faith comes are a result of our believe system while trust is built through our relationship with a person or a spirit.

When I say that I trust my wife, it is purely based on a long standing relationship.

Trust in God is the result of a relationship.

This relationship over a protracted period of time, reveals to us His character.

The highest level of our relationship with God is that of trust.

The Hebrew youths who were threatened by Nebuchadenezer who was the most feared king of his time,  told the king that they would not bow before his image.

They told him that their God was able to deliver them(faith)but if He does not, they were ready to die for their conviction(trust).

What are your expectations of God? Is it in alignment with the experiences of our fathers of faith like apostle Paul?

Is yours based only on  the things you receive?

Did you hear what apostle Paul said in our highlighted scripture?

He declared boldly that no condition can separate him from his relationship with Christ Jesus. He started listing them.

Tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, decapitation.

The list continued.

Beloved, Jesus told us that in this world, that we shall face tribulations but " take heart, I have overcome them".

I pray that God will give you a supply of strength in your seasons of  trouble in Jesus mighty name.

God bless you.

TOPIC : OVERCOMING ADVERSITIES.

[2]Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

[3]Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

Beloved, I want us to deeply examine joy as a force of restoration.

Joy is not happiness.

Happiness is the momentary elation of the heart that happen when there is a change in conditions and circumstances of our material existence.

Joy is a force in the human spirit which can be developed consciously.

Joy is a state in the human spirit where our feeling of wholeness is not predicated upon material things. Joy when handled well graduates into a  weapon that can bring restoration no matter how bad the situation may be.

Joy when welded with dexterity, can position us in a place of constant advertage.

That scripture describes joy as an equipmen with which to draw out of Heaven.

Joy has direct impact on your strength level.

.Nehemiah 8 verse 10,

[10]for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

So when next you see us celebrating, realize that it's not because we now have all we need, but because joy will bring them to us.

God bless you.

With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

Your case is not bigger than God.

May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Your Victory is already guaranteed

It is well, do not give up, with God all things  are possible

God bless you.

With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

Your case is not bigger than God.

May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

TEXT JOB 4:4-7

CLASSIC

TOPIC : OVERCOMING ADVERSITIES.

[4]Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.

[5]But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.

[6]Is not this thy fear, thy confidence, thy hope, and the uprightness of thy ways?

[7]Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off?

Periods of adversity are dark times.

At these times, you need strength.

The closest of friends may display their humanity because they are also confused.

It is at times like this that friends start to ask themselves if your sins are not responsible for your troubles.

Eliphaz, Jobs friend declared that job should search himself that his sins are responsible for his adversity.

At this time, if you do not receive strength, you would be drowned.

No one is too strong that he cannot be destroyed by adversity.

Ask John the Baptist, the one who bapthized Christ, he was a victim of adversity.

One of the ways to draw strength in times of adversity is the understanding of the revelation of the love of God.

Another is the comfort of scripture.

LOVE OF GOD.

The bible said in 1 John 3:1,

"Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not."

This scripture said, see the dimension of love. It's so deep that it is difficult to understand.

Imagine if the new governor of your state were to give you a call and say, "we want to honor you", how would you feel?

Here is the monarch of the whole universe reaching out to you that He loves you.

In Jeremiah 31:3, the bible declared,

'The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee."

Beloved,this is true.

In the book of Romans 8:28, the voice of the Lord said,

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

We are privy to some knowledge, some deep truths that it will end in our advantage.

This is the confidence of the believer.

God bless you.

With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

Your case is not bigger than God.

TEXT 2 CORINTHIANS 12 :7-9

CLASSIC

TOPIC : OVERCOMING ADVERSITIES.

[7]And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

[8]For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

[9]And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

What is adversity?

Adversity is being, forgotten in a position for years whereas those who are of less capacities and qualifications are promoted.

Adversity is knowing where you should be at this time of your life, but being far below where you ought to be.

Adversity could be suddenly finding that your most valued relationship is lost.

Many years ago, I came to the office.

It was a wonderful bright morning and we were all in a wonderful spirit.

A couple of weeks before then, I had gifted my special assistant with a beautiful jeep.

That morning we were in a strategic meeting planning about our expansion to the west African coast when I got a call that changed and shattered life into several fragments.

For a long time, the ring tone of any phone resonated a strange phobia in me.

The road safety corps called me and asked if I knew the occupants of a jeep with the description of the one I gifted my assistant, confidant and bosom friend.

That phone call was the worst phone call of my life.

I fell down, luckily into my seat as I felt a sharp ice cold spike thrown into my heart.

For weeks and months, I was mourning my friend.

I would hear his voice whenever I was alone.

I refuse to let go.

Beloved, there are times when it is foolishness trying to put a comma when and where the  owner of the script has already put a full stop.

Then I recalled this scripture,

[13]There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Beloved, in times of adversity, Satan will try to convince you that you are dealing with an uncommon situation, but the bible said that there is no temptation coming to you but such as is common.

What God has called common, refuse the temptation to call it uncommon.

No matter what you are going through, you are not the first person to go through it. Many people have gone through it and survived it.

Be determined to survive it.

Remember that God said to us through apostle Paul that His grace is sufficient for us in our times of weakness.

In the face of adversity, remember that diamonds are made under pressure.

Continue to trust God, it will end up in praise.

God bless you.

With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

Your case is not bigger than God.

May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

TEXT 1 PETER 4: 12-13

CLASSIC

TOPIC : OVERCOMING ADVERSITIES.

[12]Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

[13]But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

What is adversity?

Adversity is simply a difficult or painful situation.

Beloved in this world difficult and painful situations do occur, sometimes even to good people.

The bible talks about a day of adversity, a day when Satan pays you a visit.

That day happens once in a while to different people but surely they do occur.

In Proverbs 24:10, the bible encourages you to stand firm on our day of adversity.

"If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small."

We have different types of adversities, it could come as a major failure, loss of a job, a precious property, a valued relationship or even a loved one.

These attacks are orchestrated by hell to test your confidence in your God.

They are arranged to know how rooted your trust is in God.

These attacks are not from God, they are made to look as if they are from our God.

Beloved, no matter how hell package the adversity, ensure that it does not drive you away from God.

God is the only one that can help you in times of trouble.

The hopes and  plans of Satan will be achieved once the adversity succeeds in driving you away from your only true helper, God.

I pray for you, that God will strengthen you in your periods of adversity.

God bless you.

With the God I serve, nothing shall be impossible.

Your case is not bigger than God.

May you have a God filled day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
