TEXT COLOSSIANS 3:1-3

RISEN TO KEEP RISING

  

"If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God."

Christ arose so you can rise and keep rising.

Jesse Christ fought a vicious battle in hell for two days.

It was the final battle for our salvation.

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it(Colossians 2:15).

He made a public show of their defeat and made us to sit together in Him in Heavenly places.

Where we are positioned, we can only rise.

Our rising is the result of what He has done for us, it's not about what we can do for ourselves.

Satan and his cohorts has already made that error, it cannot be reversed.

Had they known that the cross was a portal  for the production of millions and billions of sons of God on the earth, they wouldn't have brought Jesus near it.

Satan surely is not omniscience, only God is.

Child of God, fear not, we are in charge because our Lord is risen.

GOD'S MERCY NEVER ENDS

  

 And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD.

And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD because of the Midianites,

And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour."

Dearly beloved, a song writer wrote this about the steadfast love of the Lord so many years ago.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceaseth,

His mercies never comes to an end,

They are new every morning, new every morning,

Great is thy faithfulness, O Lord.

Israel thought that the Lord had forsaken them because they were facing successive defeats.

They used their condition to conclude one their position.

Your condition can actually deceive you.

By position, you are sitting in heavenly places in Christ, far above principalities and power.

Your condition may be that the enemy fighting your destiny is unrelenting.

The reason he is unrelenting is because he knows who you really are in Christ.

If you refuse to give up on your destiny, Satan will definitely give up.

TEXT :1 SAMUEL 28:5-8

CAN YOU TALK TO GOD IN YOUR MESS?

" And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was afraid, and his heart greatly trembled.

And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.

Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.

And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee."

King Saul disobeyed God and God sent a message through prophet Samuel that He had rejected him.

This was happening at the time of war.

Israel was facing the ferocious philistine army, King Saul being overwhelmed with fear, began to look for alternatives to the God of Israel.

How many times have decided in your heart to seek for alternatives outside of God?

We often do this when we think that God is not answering or that God has rejected us.

Often it may be that our sin and guilt consciousness has stopped us from hearing from God.

King David was also by God rejected after he killed Uriah and took his wife Bartsheba.

The difference between the two men was that while Saul had other options, David would return to God and ask Him to punish him rather than letting him end in the hands of his enemies.

Saw ended in the hands of his enemies.

David got a second and a third chance.

He even got more than a third chance and ended up by God establishing his posterity over Israel forever.

How do you hand your mess?

Whenever you are in a mess, remember never to be far away from God.

You have no chance with the devil, stick to God.

 TEXT : JONAH 2:1

CAN YOU TALK TO GOD IN YOUR MESS ?

"Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly,

And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice."

One of the most subtle devices of the devil is to blackmail you out of God's presence with guilt.

It worked with Adam and Eve, when they sinned, they began to hide from God.

The Bible said that God came visiting again as usual, but Adam and Eve hid themselves for they said that they were naked.

God wants us to come boldly to Him even in our mess.

"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.(Hebrews 4:16)"

A sin stained conscience is the plan of Satan for all children of God.

When you carry this load of a conscience, you can never appear before God, not to even talk of appearing boldly.

Refuse to permit the devil to drive you away from your Daddy's presence.

TEXT : PSALM 30:3,5

THAT PROBLEM WILL NOT LAST FOREVER

"O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

This problem will not stay with you forever.

You are coming out of it.

You will not die in this issue.

It will not see your end.

You are surely coming out of it.

There are times we go through issues that seem unending.

It could be protracted sickness, it could be a complicated debt issue or marital crisis.

Some are also dealing with terrible relationship crisis, but God is not lacking in answers for your troubles.

God said that weeping May endure for a night but Joy comes in the morning.

If your weeping has extended beyond one night, it's no longer scriptural, it must end today for your joy to begin.

Beloved, I am the prophet that God sent to announce your new season, it's a season of joy.

GOD CANNOT FORGET YOU.

 

" Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me."

Beloved, there are times in the life of a man/woman when they begin to think that God has forgotten them.

They might have been dealing with some issues that seem very tough, so they conclude that God has forgotten them.

Beloved, king David faced exactly this same fate when he was dealing with his son, Absalom's revolt.

"And when king David came to Bahurim, behold, thence came out a man of the family of the house of Saul, whose name was Shimei, the son of Gera: he came forth, and cursed still as he came.

And he cast stones at David, and at all the servants of king David: and all the people and all the mighty men were on his right hand and on his left.

And thus said Shimei when he cursed, Come out, come out, thou bloody man, and thou man of Belial:"(2 Samuel 16;5-7).

It does not matter how they see your case today, God Himself has said that He cannot forget you.

Like a blacksmith, He has engraved you in the palm of His hands.

If God were to have a tattoo, you would have been His tattoo.

TEXT : GENESIS 26:12-13

YOU HAVE A ROLE TO PLAY

 

"Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:"

Isaac was confronted by a very troubling situation.

He was not facing just the draught in the land, he was also facing some enemies whose only Joy was to see him fail.

They actually didn't take over the well so they can use the water, no they took over the well so they can destroy it.

They did it not once but twice.

Beloved, if you really want it so badly, you must be ready to fight for your destiny.

If the enemy believes so much in your destiny to ignite this level of warfare over it, then you also should believe in yourself enough to put up a fight.

You can't just give up.

It's better to die fighting for what you believe in than to be cut surrendering to your destiny mockers.

Isaac didn't surrender, you will not surrender either.

You are the offspring of a lion, you cannot surrender to the gathering of antelopes, no matter their number.

Even if those antelopes are high on substances, their eye must surely soon clear.

'And Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for the philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham: and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them.

And Isaac's servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing water.

And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's herdmen, saying, The water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him.

And they digged another well, and strove for that also: and he called the name of it Sitnah.

And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.(Genesis 26:18-22)"

Go back to it again, you will come back will a trophy.

"Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

All of Jesus's healings were post paid for.

All the healings of the old testament were post paid for by the strips of Jesus.

All the healings were settled with a postpaid cheque.

If Jesus never went to the whipping post where His body was mutilated by the Roman soldiers with those Spike laced rods, all those who were healed before His death would have all lost their healings.

It was His strips that paid for our healings.

This knowledge is so profound because it changes even the way we pray.

It brings us to a knowledge level where we no longer beg for healing, because we already have it.

When you declare healing over any health issue, realize that it's already done.

Do not wait for the mountain to be removed before you believe.

You become healed the very moment you believed.

This season, I will be teaching on how to receive and keep your healing.

This is because if you lose your healing, you have lost your right to work for God in this earth.

YOUR HEALING HAS BEEN PAID FOR

 

"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."

Beloved, the reason many people are unable to receive healing for their many health challenges is that they are waiting to see physical evidences.

If God said in His word that you are healed, then believe Him because He has never lied.

  "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."(Mark 11:24)

Your believing activates your receiving, until you believe in your heart you are not a candidate of healing.

You must believe that you are healed according to the word of God, then God's hand will move on your behalf.

When next you feel any of those satanic symptoms like fever, aches, fibroids and lumps in your breasts,

Never take any thoughts that is not from the Epistles.

YOUR HEALING HAS BEEN PAID FOR

 

"That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses."

Beloved, Jesus paid for our health because He knew that nobody can fulfill destiny in a sick body.

I have great passion in seeing the sick healed because I have buried some loved ones and I know the pains and the emptiness the comes with death.

Death leaves us with many unanswered questions.

I have been learning about healing because I don't want another grave and I also wish to be an answer to those who are in desperate situations.

One of the reasons why many people have been unable to receive their healing is because they are trying to get healed.

They are believing God for their healing.

They do not know that they have been healed.

God is actually waiting for them to receive their healing that Jesus paid for even before they were born.

You are not the sick trying to get healed, you are the healed who is yet to realize that he cannot be sick.

 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,"( Ephesians 1:3-5)

Beloved, begin to look at the pages of the Pauline epistles, soon you will begin to realize who you truly are, a super being that cannot die.

THIS BATTLE IS NOT YOURS

 "And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's."

Beloved, I am a veteran in the countless battles of the enemy.

Some of the things I  learned are,

1. That even though  you are already victorious, the enemy ensures that your eyes are kept away from your trophy 🏆.

2. He ensures that your eyes are fixed in the raging storm.

3. He uses pictures to keep your fears alive.

4. He uses restlessness to ensures that you never have a quiet time to reason.

5. He bombards you with anxiety.

Beloved, if you can wage war against these things, you will constantly keep the enemy under your feet.

TEXT : 2 CHRONICLES 20:15

THIS BATTLE IS NOT YOURS

 "And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's."

The spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel and he began to prophecy about the battle, he declared by the authority of Heaven that the battle was not theirs, implying that the Lord has taken over the battle.

Beloved, you are the apple of God's eyes, He loves you too much to permit the devil to destroy you.

The plans of the enemy will never prosper because God has taken care of the enemy for you.

God knows where the enemy is.

He knows what his strategy is and will never permit him to access them in Jesus mighty name.

God knows where the trouble is in your business.

He knows the very weak point in that ministry, He will remove them before they release their destructive arrow.

Do not panic, do not be overwhelmed by anxiety, begin to praise Him, the battle is the Lord's.

Don't be late for church service
